✾ MISTLETOE MEME ✾

All right guys, since we can't do this in-game, we shall have an OOC meme for it instead! Nothing will carry over into the game, so just have fun with it. Here's how it works:

• You are stuck under a random mistletoe.
• There is a note on said mistletoe.
• Whoever comes within range will be pulled under the mistletoe and also be stuck.
• Now you both have to do what the note says to get unstuck.
• EMOTIONS ARE STILL IN EFFECT so have fun with that.

State your preferences!

1. Hug. Easy enough. Can be a simple hug or a giant bear hug.
2. Kiss on the cheek. For those who might be a little shier.
3. Kiss on the hand. For those who want to be...well, whatever kissing on the hand invokes. Charming? Dashing?
4. Kiss on the forehead. Because sometimes you have to brush their hair out of their faces, and that's cute.
5. Kiss on the lips. 1-2-3 KISS. This is the tame version of the next one.
6. Make-out for five minutes. That escalated quickly!

And a brand new Emp-centric option for this year:

7. Ship crystals! Some of the mistletoe this year is attached to large crystals, and "just a kiss" is not gonna help you here. No, these things want fluff. In addition to kisses, they want you to hold hands, and sit in a cute shop drinking a milkshake out of one glass with two straws, and give each other flowers, and all manner of other disgusting shippy things. And it will not let you separate until you have filled it with enough fluff drops to satisfy it*. Use a variety of different kisses to speed the process up and enjoy your temporary new significant other! Hopefully one or both of you is romantic enough to think of things to do. ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

*You can move around and go on cute dates. It will float over your heads as you wander like a horrible crystal voyeur.

[Evie's staring at the naughty little plant overhead, but she's not cranky about it. What a fun prank. Seems like something she would have done sometime. ~~Let's be honesty, she still would.~~ So she's just gonna stand here looking all pretty and prepping with a little lip gloss.]

[OOH, truffles! While the mice are sniffing curiously and the Blue Lion is debating whether this is an interesting enough sight to warrant going on two legs to inspect, Allura at least WAS going to see if there's a card attached so she knows who they're for. (It is a VERY good thing Kevin chose truffles instead of a milkshake.)

But then she hears the voice and banging from under the table. At first she just figures Kevin smacked his head on a leg or something, and makes her way over to talk to him..]

Mister Kevin? What are you doing under there?

I guess I'll just have to find someone cute to kiss me. Where on verens will I ever find someone like that?

[ It was easy to tell from his tone he wasn't as bothered as he originally let on, especially when Sora came by. ]

[Somehow, Rokurou's allowed on school grounds again. ALSO somehow, the both of them get caught underneath a certain piece of shrubbery under one of the doorways. (Probably while escorting him to make sure he doesn't cause any trouble.) This is SO not what she had in mind.]

[It is Christmas Day. It is the wee hours of the morning on Christmas Day. The hour, in fact, when Shiro is usually getting up to go make his crunchy eggs and have a jog. Kevin knows this, which is why the instant Shiro slips his amulet on he will be hit with a barrage of relentless mental Kevin pokes, as though he has already been at this for several minutes.]

[His mental voice is a hiss.]

[Sora happens by when he sees a certain girl under the mistletoe and he can't help but smile and come over with a curious expression.]

What's up, Evie? Waiting for someone?

[Sora gives a playful shrug. He eyes that warm drink that Squall has and comes up only to try and snatch it.]

Hope you find someone by the end of the night or you'll grow old under here.

...well. If we were going to get stuck beneath this silliness, at least we've chosen a good spot for it.

[It was a Benny's kind of night tonight, and just now they are pleasantly full of pancakes and milkshakes and eggs and potatoes and, let's be real, also the lava pepper hot sauce that Keith smuggled in under his jacket because he's like that. Their sinuses freshly burned out of their heads, the plan was to sit here on Kevin's favorite tower building and watch what's sure to be a beautiful sunrise.

And they still get to do that, because it turns out Kevin's favorite spot to watch the sunrise has mistletoe above it now. But he is not wrong! Being stuck is not so bad when you are where you wanted to be anyway.]

[Kevin recalls the scolding he got in this scenario last year, and considers the fact that there is now a lion added to the mix. He has done his best to make friends with this lion because even if it is not fluffy, it is cool and sentient and likes scritches, so probably it won't sit on him and squash his lungs over this? Probably.]

...well, I'm under cover, you know, Princess.

[It's true, there could have been way worse places to get stuck! Keith, however, is still much less amused than Kevin. He glowers at the spriggy thing above them and tries to reach for it.]

I hate these things. Who told the natives about mistletoe? [Keith let's out an icons Uggghhh as he fails to snatch it off the precarious steel beam it's adhered to above them.]

[It seems like every year the Christmas decorations just get more and more intricate and numerous even outside the Voltron house. Alice has meandered over very innocently to see if Allura might be up for an early round of toy collections for this year.

Exiting the house though is a harder task than normal because... well, mistletoe. It had just popped into existence sometime between Alice entering and now her exiting. Her stride out the front door is abruptly put to an end by a thoroughly invisible barrier that she quite promptly walks right into and then staggers back from.]

[Alice was just trying to rustle up people for possible toy collections, honest. She didn't plan this whole mistletoe business -- and definitely didn't plan it popping out of absolute nowhere to hang ominously above them from a lamp post.]

[Goddammit, all he ever wants is coffee and this house is cursed to never give it to him without a fight. He had just about gotten the stupid thing to produce hot water when Allura pointed out the offending plant and his irritation abruptly shut down the machine. Awesome.]

[He gives the plant a withering stare before he sighs.]
