  ✾ MISTLETOE MEME ✾

All right guys, since we can't do this in-game, we shall have an OOC meme for it instead! Nothing will carry over into the game, so just have fun with it. Here's how it works:

• You are stuck under a random mistletoe.
• There is a note on said mistletoe.
• Whoever comes within range will be pulled under the mistletoe and also be stuck.
• Now you both have to do what the note says to get unstuck.
• EMOTIONS ARE STILL IN EFFECT so have fun with that.

State your preferences!

1. Hug. Easy enough. Can be a simple hug or a giant bear hug.
2. Kiss on the cheek. For those who might be a little shier.
3. Kiss on the hand. For those who want to be...well, whatever kissing on the hand invokes. Charming? Dashing?
4. Kiss on the forehead. Because sometimes you have to brush their hair out of their faces, and that's cute.
5. Kiss on the lips. 1-2-3 KISS. This is the tame version of the next one.
6. Make-out for five minutes. That escalated quickly!

And a brand new Emp-centric option for this year:

7. Ship crystals! Some of the mistletoe this year is attached to large crystals, and "just a kiss" is not gonna help you here. No, these things want fluff. In addition to kisses, they want you to hold hands, and sit in a cute shop drinking a milkshake out of one glass with two straws, and give each other flowers, and all manner of other disgusting shippy things. And it will not let you separate until you have filled it with enough fluff drops to satisfy it*. Use a variety of different kisses to speed the process up and enjoy your temporary new significant other! Hopefully one or both of you is romantic enough to think of things to do. ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

*You can move around and go on cute dates. It will float over your heads as you wander like a horrible crystal voyeur.

[ Squall notices the way Sora was looking, but he doesn't pull it away right away. Instead he wiggles the cup to get Sora to come closer. Maybe he could use this drink as bait... ]

I guess I'll die then.

[oathkeeper]

[Warm drink... What is it? Chocolate? Chai? Tea? Peppermint? Sora comes closer to try and reach out for it.]

Was nice knowing you, Squall! Give me your drink if you're kicking the bucket.

[innermonologues]

[ When Sora starts reaching for it, Squall being his ever so kind and lovely self holds it up in the air. Oh. Sora wanted this drink?? Whoops.]

You'll have to pry it out of my cold dead hands. If you can reach.

[oathkeeper]

Hey-!

[Sora, unknowingly, reaches up for the drink too! He rises up slightly on his toes, his gaze going upwards towards the drink cup and not at all paying attention to anything else.]

Come on! Don't lift it so high!

[innermonologues]

[ It looks like Sora fell right into his trap. Honestly he didn't think it would work this easily, but Sora let himself get closer without even realizing it. That look of amusement on Squall's face starts to turn into a tiny smirk and with a quick motion he takes his free hand and loops it around Sora's back to pull him under the mistletoe with him. ]

Whoops. I fell.

[oathkeeper]

Ahh!

[Sora yelps softly but really he fell for this trap a little too easily. He blushes a bit and grins at Squall and tries to sigh. But a hand steadies himself on Squall's arm as he stays where he is.]

Great, we're both gonna die now.

[innermonologues]

[ "Guess we're both gonna die now" Squall just lets out a soft laughter, his arm still around Sora to keep him close. What a cheeky brat, not that he's any better since he lured him over here in the first place. ]

I guess I'll have to share my rations with you. It's the least I could do.

[ He finally moves his hand with the mug down and lets Sora grab it if he wants to. It's some kind of super peperminty/candycane flavored tea. ]

[oathkeeper]

[Sora lets out a small happy laugh and he reaches for the mug to take it and sip at it carefully. He wants to share drinks with Squall so this makes him happy. Sip sip.]

Hmm, it's yummy!

[Squall and his peppermint flavoured things. Heh.]

[innermonologues]

This is the only time of year I can find this flavor.

[ While Sora seems distracted with his drink, Squall lets one of his hands move up to brush Sora's bangs out of his face. ]

Maybe I should stock up on it.

[oathkeeper]

[Sora is distracted, eyes closing for a second as he takes another sip of the pepperminty drink. It's so good.]

Get a whole crate of it to last you until next year.

[innermonologues]

Maybe two, since I have a feeling someone might be sneaking some from me.

[ He didn't even have any plans of leaving the mistletoe at this second. He just liked having an excuse to hold Sora close. ]

I'm surprised you like it at all. I thought you only liked super sweet things.

[oathkeeper]

[Sora's nearly forgotten about the mistletoe, himself. Wrapped up this close to Squall and drinking a yummy drink is really perfect.]

I drink stuff that isn't super sweet too, you know. [He chuckles.] This is just sweet enough.

[innermonologues]

[ Squall keeps playing with Sora's hair a little, finally pressing his bangs completely back to show off Sora's cute forehead. ]

Minty sweet isn't too bad. Almost refreshing in a way.

[oathkeeper]

I'm just glad it's not like toothpaste. That would be weird.

[He blinks when he feels Squall's finger brush at his bangs and he looks up at him with a curious expression.]

Squall?

[innermonologues]

[ Is he that dull that he seems like the type to drink toothpaste drinks? How rude!

Squall snorts softly, letting out a soft "hmm?" He figured he knew why Sora was confused, but he wasn't about to pull away. So instead he leaned in to place his lips softly against Sora's forehead. ]

[oathkeeper]

[Oh- It seems no matter how many times they've had little moments like this Squall's tender sweetness still surprises him. Sora's eyes widen a little and he feels a blush bloom across his cheeks as he feels that kiss against his forehead.]

Heh...

[He's happy... His hand squeezes Squall's arm to pull him a little closer.]

[innermonologues]

Sometimes I can't resist when I have you so close to me.

[ He gives Sora a soft smile, letting himself be tugged just a little closer. ]

You really did fall right into my wicked trap.

[oathkeeper]

[He lets out a puff of laughter, tilting his head.]

But really, who got who in a trap?

[Sora did set up the mistletoe after all! He regrets nothing.]

[innermonologues]

[ ... Sora actually had a point there and as it hits Squall he visibly looked surprised. Like somehow that thought never even crossed his mind.

.... Squall starts to laugh as he tugs Sora closer to him. ]

You snuck in without anyone realizing it.

[oathkeeper]

[Sora leans up a bit on his toes so he can nuzzle his nose against Squall's. Uwa.]

Guess I'm that cute person you were looking for.

[innermonologues]

[ A-ah... it seems it was Squall's turn to look a bit red in the face. Any time Sora decided to join in the affectionate teasing Squall was just no match for him. ]

I must have gotten my Christmas wish.

[ That's how Christmas works right? You get wishes??? ]

[oathkeeper]

[You get wishes!!! And Sora is more than happy to give them. He nuzzles Squall some more.]

[ Squall lets out a soft laughter and wraps his arms fully around him now. He leaned down to place a kiss on the tip of his nose. ]
