All right guys, since we can't do this in-game, we shall have an OOC meme for it instead! Nothing will carry over into the game, so just have fun with it. Here's how it works:

• You are stuck under a random mistletoe.
• There is a note on said mistletoe.
• Whoever comes within range will be pulled under the mistletoe and also be stuck.
• Now you both have to do what the note says to get unstuck.
• EMOTIONS ARE STILL IN EFFECT so have fun with that.

State your preferences!

1. Hug. Easy enough. Can be a simple hug or a giant bear hug.
2. Kiss on the cheek. For those who might be a little shier.
3. Kiss on the hand. For those who want to be...well, whatever kissing on the hand invokes. Charming? Dashing?
4. Kiss on the forehead. Because sometimes you have to brush their hair out of their faces, and that's cute.
5. Kiss on the lips. 1-2-3 KISS. This is the tame version of the next one.
6. Make-out for five minutes. That escalated quickly!

7. Ship crystals! Some of the mistletoe this year is attached to large crystals, and "just a kiss" is not gonna help you here. No, these things want fluff. In addition to kisses, they want you to hold hands, and sit in a cute shop drinking a milkshake out of one glass with two straws, and give each other flowers, and all manner of other disgusting shippy things. And it will not let you separate until you have filled it with enough fluff drops to satisfy it*. Use a variety of different kisses to speed the process up and enjoy your temporary new significant other! Hopefully one or both of you is romantic enough to think of things to do. ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

*You can move around and go on cute dates. It will float over your heads as you wander like a horrible crystal voyeur.

[It's ten years later and Bulat has a farm, and that farm has things like greenhouses and sheep and miniature goats and chocobos and Bulat's somewhat less baby now crocodile, who Kevin sometimes takes naps on when he has a day free to come and help out. He is not napping on the crocodile now. He is, instead, hanging out with his favorite sheep, Doily, who he raised himself from a wee lamb after Doily's mama rejected her, probably because she was freaked out by the iridescent glimmer to her baby's wool.

It's fine, Kevin is also several different flashing colors under direct light so he may as well be Doily's birthmom. They are having a grand time together now playing in the snow, building a Snowcobo. Trouble is, Kevin is running out of snow, on account of he can't presently leave the barrier created by the crystal-laden mistletoe floating above him. The movement won't kick in until someone else wanders into it with him. Ah, well. Bulat will be along to rescue him eventually.

Or Kevin will run out of ways to amuse himself while trapped in mistletoe and whine at him to come help, whichever comes first.]

Shiro looks up at the mistletoe much like he is also silently asking himself how the fuck this happened, despite how resigned he is to the situation. He's been here before, he knows how this works. ]

[ So Alice has dragged Shiro into playing Santa Claus for a toy drive. And he hates it. His naturally (or, at least, permanently) white hair means he doesn't have to wear a proper wig for it (as long as he keeps the purple tucked up under the hat), but he does have to wear a fake beard because that's more facial hair than Shiro could ever grow even if he never shaved again in his life, and it takes an awful lot of padding to turn a dorito into a sphere. So he's pretty overheated and miserable about it, and a lot of his concentration is occupied by making sure that doesn't show in his emotional effects.

Also the costume includes a fake right arm to disguise his missing one, and that's just kind of insult to injury.

Long story short, he misses it entirely when he and Alice (attempt to) pass under some mistletoe and runs face-first into the barrier. ]
