Welcome to Empatheias' plotting and CR meme! Please fill out the form below with all of the necessary information. Then go forth and reply to others, plot, make friends, have shenanigans!

The Plot and CR meme will be posted on the first of each month, and will be posted once the intro posts have been posted, and again during the mid-month announcement. We highly encourage everyone to check the post from time to time, even if a week has passed. You never know what kind of opportunities you could be missing!

INSTRUCTIONS

• Feel free to use the "Open Mingling Announcements" and "Task Board Recruitment" top levels for better focused organisation. Note: Any large scale group plots should still be posted to the OOC community proper.

• For more general plotting and to talk about CR you wish to build, create your own top level following the format below. Put your character's name in the subject line, or your name in the subject line if you have more than one character.

• Fill out the form and comment away! The top level relating to the task board has a different form, catered specifically to task board related things, as well.

• Tip! If mentioning tasks, include both the task ID and a brief two-word blurb to easily identify (eg., ST0602 Giant Fish).

Character Name: Steven Stone
Canon: Pokémon
Brief Personality: Champion of the Hoenn League from Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire. Gentlemanly, polite, respectable and wise, if you're asking him about the right things. Responsible and friendly if approached, but straight-laced to a fault. He's also a not-so-secret geology freak!
Appearance: Your typical rich-boy bishounen, basically. He stands at 5'8", mainly wears suits and generally debonair attire, and has distinct (yet natural) silvery blue anime hair + matching eyes.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both! He's fairly involved in excursions due to his insatiable wanderlust, and is smart enough to make some astute observations while on them. I'm not opposed to slice of life things, either - he's a good coffee date, and is fairly friendly and open to doing tasks with (capable) strangers.

Current Activities/Developments: June is set to be a very emotional month for Steven, due to some developments in his personal life. He's trending quite positive on the whole with some new and old friends having arrived from his world in the past few months, but he's also been a bit stressed out for the same reason. Other than that, he's taking care of his baby Beldum and just cruising along. Taskboard wise, he'll be very concerned about the Shaarnath vandalism and Thras in general! :(
Future Developments: A lot of his development has already gone by, so I don't have too many specific plans! I'd love some more slice-of-life developments and practice with Dunamis, but otherwise I'm gonna let the pieces fall where they may.
Shipping/Romance: He's very much committed to Ignis Scientia, so anything mutual is a hard pass. Feel free to get a crush on him, though - he'll let you down easily.

Seeking: People seeking advice! Kids to mentor! People interested in Pokémon! Fellow fancy people to have tea with! Fellow nerds to geek out about rocks to! Tell me what you're offering, and we can make it work.
Offering: Steven is a Certified Responsible Adult when the situation calls for it, but he's also a gigantic nerd at his core. He's pretty reliable and does feel a duty to protect those in need, and more recently has a bit of a distant big brother/dad-ish doting streak. He gives good, thought-out advice, but can be a bit petulant if pushed or crossed.
Not Interested In/Avoiding: Nothing except romance.

Anything Else:

Character Name: Penny Polendina
Canon: RWBY
Brief Personality: An endlessly curious android girl that's loosely based on the story of Pinocchio. She's a little awkward and doesn't quite know how to properly socialize, but she's friendly, optimistic, go-getting, and tries her best! She's also a deadly weapon that packs super strength, gunswords, and a jetpack.
Appearance: She might be a robot, but Penny has an incredibly human-like appearance - she stands at about 5'5", with a thin build. She can always be seen wearing some sort of bow in her bright red hair hair (+ ahoge), and her face is peppered with cute freckles.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both! I'd enjoy slice of life for CR-building purposes, but adventure is not out of the question! If your character needs an experienced fighter, Penny's your girl. I don't think she'd be too interested in nitty-gritty plot stuff, but she'd love to explore, observe, and help people however she can.
Current Activities/Developments: Penny is coming more into terms with embracing her robot heritage. She's been playing around with the idea of revealing that she's not actually human to the crystal network, but is still a little too shy to do so. Her self-confidence is slowly building, though! She's ready to make lots of friends and go at everything with energy, but is also working on deepening the relationships she currently has.
Future Developments: I want her to get a job! And possibly get fired from that job! The latter part isn't a solid requirement, but it could be fun for her to try her hand at something that doesn't require her being a combat robot. Making more friends is also always on my list (both human and non-human), and I'd love it if she could learn a little more about Dunamis from someone.
Shipping/Romance: Though she still has no sense of what is/isn't romantic, she does have a potential ship waiting in the wings! So I'll say no to anything long-term, but crushes are definitely welcome.

Seeking: All kinds of friendly CR, but especially with other robots and non-humans! Villains/morally grey people might be cool too, as a learning experience for her innocent nature.
Offering: An incredibly loyal friend who will die for you. Seriously, she makes a very dedicated bodyguard! She's cute, chipper, honest and will always act in another person's best interests, but also very observant. She gives pretty good advice just by virtue of not having a social filter, so she can be counted on for telling it like it is.
Not Interested In/Avoiding: Nada!

i want you to know that this one thread with future gohan and penny is awkward as hell and i absolutely adore it.

Character Name: Iris Amicitia
Canon: Final Fantasy XV
Brief Personality: Iris is a warm and friendly girl from a noble family, but also has a bit of a headstrong streak. She can act a bit spoiled at times, but always has the best interests of others in mind. Though she likes to exert her independence, she likes to be surrounded by friends and care for them in return.
Appearance: A cute teen! She tends to dress in darker shades, but tries to coordinate her outfits at the intersection of fashionable and casual.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both! She works well for SoL, but is up for anything when it comes to exploring/taking on tasks.
Current Activities/Developments: Day-to-day life, helping out around Eos house and pitching in with money from tasks. She's finally beginning to adjust to not being on the run like she was back home, which means that she feels more comfortable in settling into a more permanent routine.
Future Developments: I definitely want her to keep socializing around, and possibly either getting a job in a clothing shop or opening up one of her own. She's also procured a set of brass knuckles, so I want her to keep up combat training in the field.
Shipping/Romance: I'll say maybe for now, but leaning towards no - she's still in unrequited dokis with Noctis, and I might have something planned for her whenever she gets past it.

Seeking: GIRLS. Her house and CR pool in general is a near total sausagefest - I want her to have more female CR, both older and younger than her!
Offering: A cute little sister that can also give a bit of sass if the situation calls for it. She's an optimist that can give cheer-up pep talks with the best of them, and is just a generally supportive friend that also loves to kick and punch the shit out of monsters.
Not Interested In/Avoiding: Anything overly violent. Otherwise, nothing!
