Welcome to Empatheias' plotting and CR meme! Please fill out the form below with all of the necessary information. Then go forth and reply to others, plot, make friends, have shenanigans!

The Plot and CR meme will be posted on the first of each month, and will be posted once the intro posts have been posted, and again during the mid-month announcement. We highly encourage everyone to check the post from time to time, even if a week has passed. You never know what kind of opportunities you could be missing!

Brief Personality: 80-going-on 30, Mai has matured from her more "evil" younger years to a sweet, caring, loyal friend who most values the lives of those closest to her and the smiles of young children. But make no mistake; beneath the sweetness is the cold interior of a seasoned warrior. Unafraid of fighting, and with the sniping accuracy to hold her own, even against foes far stronger than she.
Appearance: Despite her true age, thanks to a wish made on the Dragon Balls, she reverted back to the age of a toddler and "grew up" all over again. Anyone looking at her would assume she's in her early 30s at most.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: I tend to do best with her with slice of life activities, especially since she's not a hand to hand combatant, but since SOL can get monotonous after a while--not to mention, she does come from a shonen anime--throwing the occasional ADVENTURE in there can be fun
Current Activities/Developments: Mai has two main ongoing activities: she's still employed at Snow White's Bakery, and has most recently volunteered to be a Santa delivering toys to children for the holiday season. She may or may not recruit some of her friends for the latter. Beyond that, I don't have any other plans aside from one or two plots that are being worked out on plurk/discord
Future Developments: I don't have any future plans at the moment because I'm figuring December will be a crazy busy month for me, so I'm taking things one plot at a time and only tagging out where planned ahead of time.
Shipping/Romance: She's currently in too much denial to get involved in a(nother) ship. Probably.

Seeking: Maybe fellow bakery workers? Or other people who are working on the children's' hospital Santa deliveries?
Offering: A post-apocalyptic sharp-shooting survivor with a soft spot for children and cats. Has skills in mechanical engineering, survival, and currently training under a half-Saiyan prince teaching her to control her ki, meaning she'll be able to sense the energy of those familiar to her and eventually learn to fly.
Not Interested In/Avoiding: Can't think of anything off the top of my head: "no"s for me tend to be more situation than broadly defined.

Canon: Dangan Ronpa
Brief Personality: Junko's obsessed with despair. Get to know her well enough and that will absolutely play a major part in most interactions with her. But when she's not making that obvious, she's weirdly down to earth and normal, or at least pretends to be. She's been here for four years, she's very adjusted to how things work here. When she wants to be anyways.
Appearance: What you see is what you get with her. Usually. If she's done anything major with changing her style (like in the last event, for example), I'll usually mention it.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both! She can get despair out of pretty much anything she does, so I try to involve her in both things as often as I can or makes sense for her. Adventure stuff is usually going to be more plot heavy stuff, she wouldn't really be interested in going out and fighting things on the taskboard or anything like that, so she does skew more towards slice of life, but I'm definitely open to both.
Current Activities/Developments: She's super interested in the plot fallout and seeing what happens with the rebels. She'll be voting for exile, but she's super curious to see what wins and will definitely have strong feelings about any of the outcomes and would definitely be willing to talk about that with people! Her birthday is also this month, but she doesn't really do anything for it or have any plans there (I think only a couple castmates know when her birthday is anyways? I don't actually remember).
Future Developments: Good question! After a couple of emotionally heavy months because boy did she have feelings about the Thras stuff, she'll probably be winding down and focusing on just everyday things until Selenium comes up since that's always an emotional mess for her. That could change if something major happens but for now I don't really have any plans beyond her getting despair out of whatever she ends up doing this month. Maybe she'll do something major again at some point next year, but for now not a lot going on here.
Shipping/Romance: As always, I'm pretty much open to anything here. And as always the only real thing to point out is that Junko is Junko and that's probably a dealbreaker for a lot of characters in the long run.

Seeking: I know putting anything is kind of a weak answer sometimes, but anything really? Junko has some great CR, but I definitely always want more. She really doesn't have too much negative CR at the moment, so I wouldn't mind collecting more of that. But pretty much anything works, she's had four years of CR here and it's all been great, so I welcome pretty much whatever comes her way.
Offering: I feel like high school student slash model slash world ending threat is definitely something unique to offer! She doesn't really have any plans to change her ways or anything like that, so she's still pretty much a villain even if she doesn't seem like it that much. Like I said earlier, she's also been her a while and is definitely willing to share her knowledge since that suits the whole despair thing. So I can offer that as well! And last, as you guys have no doubt seen, I can also offer Monokuma on the network to troll and be a shit about things! So there's a few things to offer here besides just general everyday CR. It's entirely possible to interact with her and build CR without having to deal with the whole Ultimate Despair thing for a while, if ever.

Canon: World of Warcraft
Brief Personality: Loyal, community-focused and dependable, Yrel is a fantastic friend and ally to have on and off the battlefield. Do not be put off by her appearance; she is a warm and loving individual who welcomes all into her fold. She is not a pushover of course, and she is firm in her beliefs, but she is mindful of differences and seeks peace above all.
Appearance: Yrel is distinctly different from other Empatheias residents. She’s seven feet tall, blue, has hooves, a tail and curling horns, and tendrils hanging from her face. Her eyes glow in the dark, she wears bright armor, and wields a giant crystal hammer. When she is empowered by the Light, she sprouts wide, glowing wings. And she bears Velen’s Gift of the Naaru! even though Blizzard blatantly forgot as soon as she acquired it in Shadowmoon Valley, but that is neither here nor there.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE:
I don’t play World of Warcraft to sit around the Mage Quarter and watch the human paladins chat. I play World of Warcraft to experience a world! I want adventure! I want fights, I want recovering from fights, and I want Yrel to experience events she couldn’t even image. She already knows there are other worlds out there, that knowledge comes with the draenei territory, but she hasn’t seen them before. Empatheias is new to her. Take her out to see the sights!

But I also want a little bit of slice of life. Draenei culture is similar to Empatheias culture what with the crystals and magic, but draenei are still very different. I would like Yrel to explore these differences and learn many new things.

Current Activities/Developments:
Yrel is currently adjusting to life in a new world with powerful, emotional beings. After going to war for Thras, she will spend her time performing jobs and memorizing this new world.

Future Developments:
As stated above, I want a healthy mix of slice of life and adventure. This is open to literally every kind of character. Yrel is kind to all regardless of race and age so she will never be unkind to another character unless it is warranted. Additionally, I would love for Yrel to develop friendships with individuals who do not mind physical affection. It is my own headcanon that draenei greet each other with kisses on the cheek and that walking arm in arm with others is a sign of friendship. Yrel would not force a cheek kiss or walking arm in arm upon another character, I simply want a friendship that will develop into platonic physical affection.

Shipping/Romance:
I’m a sucker for romance and I love shipping. I lean toward slow burns meaning it would take at least several months for Yrel to develop feelings. That said, again, I love shipping, and I don’t mind if the other character is human or non-human (must be humanoid, however), nor do I care about the other character’s gender. The only thing I ask is that the other character be near her age range. She doesn’t have a canon age but I headcanon her to be 25-30 human years at least. Younger and older characters may be her friend, but I will not ship with them.

Seeking: Positive, friendly CR. Also someone to introduce her to Christmas! Draenei don't celebrate Christmas/Winter Veil because those holidays don't exist. Show her Christmas spirit!
Offering: Yrel is your aunt who isn’t related to you by blood, but has been around since before you were born so you call her your aunt, and she’s very nice and thoughtful and even funny, but she will finish a fight in a heartbeat.
Not Interested In/Avoiding: I’m not very interested in negative cr right now but if you have something in mind, still suggest it. I might change my mind. Literally sometimes I let something settle in my mind for a few days and I suddenly fall in love with it. So try me!

Character Name: Inquisitor Ladanelan Lavellan
Canon: Dragon Age: Inquisition
Brief Personality: Generally friendly, inclined to being a joker and a smartass, and loves telling stories. Good person who has also seen and been through a helluva lot, so tends to be surprised by very little. He grew up in a forest, and only spent the past 3 or so years as a part of society, and even that he didn't get a great taste of living like a normal person so he's prone to being a bit of a hic.
Appearance: He's an elf, so he's smaller than most humans, and sports a pair of pointy ears. He's got a tattoo on his face that marks him as a Dalish elf, but he mostly likes it because he thinks it's pretty. Most notably he's missing his left arm at the elbow, but he tries not to drawn attention to it (unless there's a pun to be made about it).

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: A good mix of both I think? He could use some help learning how to be a normal non-important person that lives in society, but also he's not one to just sit around enjoying the peace.
Current Activities/Developments: He's currently getting by with his undeniable prowess involving killing things. Most of this world still eludes him though, so he tends to be a bit out of place.
Future Developments: So far he'd got making ends meet down, but he's still trying to figure out where he fits in this world. For the most part he's going to continue falling into old habits and stick his nose in whatever trouble he finds, and going off to kill anything that needs killing.
Shipping/Romance: He's already in a relationship canonly, and he's also prone to gushing about it obnoxiously if given the opportunity. He will also happily offer anyone advice on how to win over someone in the most cliche and romantic way possible.

Seeking: I'd love for him to make some more adult friends to try and pull him out of his shell a bit. He's somewhat wary around humans, and closed off in general, so it would be nice for him to have people pull him into just normal friend things. Or just get dragged out on misadventures with/nights at the tavern. I'd also be up for having some CR to "mom" at him a little, since he's not super well adept at living completely alone, and like many men living alone has deemed bread and ale a suitable diet.
Offering: Lavellan is great for dragging characters out on adventures, or getting himself nose-deep in things she shouldn't be. He's also a good drinking buddy, and will invite anyone along if he thinks they look like they could use it. He's a pretty good friend in general, always up for a laugh, but also willing to lend an ear if that's what's needed. He's also great for romantic advice, and would find great joy encouraging people to admit feelings or planning a nice date.

Brief Personality: A sweet but awkward girl who always does her best. Struggles with secretly a clone of the god of destruction and mind being nothing but programming. She desperately wants to find TRUE LOVE but doesn't actually know what that means.

Appearance: Here. White hair, blue eyes, gray/white/black punk-ish wardrobe, frequently defaults to her wedding dress, and big boobs.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both! She is superhuman and has the stubborn sense of justice of a shounen protag, so she will throw herself into action to help people. She would personally prefer a slice-of-life life, though, and enjoys doing mundane human things.

Current Activities/Developments: She recently came back after returning home where she had her entire appearance changed and believes she saw her sister murdered by their mother, so that is influencing all her behavior. She is spending most of her time feeling down and still hasn't found a new place to live.

Future Developments: I want her to work through her current issues relating to be an inhuman abomination and thinking her sister is gone forever before I canon update her later next year.

Shipping/Romance: Always open to it and she is actively looking for it. It's not going to be simple, though, due to her mother programming "you can't love" in her mind so she will sabotage herself and will have some heavy things to work through. So despite being super thirsty and having a crush on all her CR, it won't be that easy. Thanks to her inexperience and unhealthy outlook on herself, she is prime for getting into trainwreck relationships, if not outright unhealthy ones.

Seeking: CR that hasn't ran into her since she returned, other non-humans, ROMANCE.
Offering: A stubborn girl who will befriend just about anyone, no matter how badly they treat her or how shy they may be.

Canon: Fate/Grand Order
Brief Personality: His profile describes him as "A prince charming with a gentle smile to match." Fate's take on the knight from Arthurian Legend, he's pretty much well, the knightly ideal. Loyal, chivalrous and a peerless warrior. A good guy, straightforward, but a bit ditzy at times. Once in a while a bit of a pervert.

Has sad issues from around the time he died, like all Fate characters. He's a sort of magic familiar called a Heroic Spirit and is one of the Servants of Ritsuka and very loyal to her. Like loyal is at least half of his personality.

Also don't let him cook for you. Ever.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both! Gawain is a warrior and well suited to adventure type things. He wants to solve the problem in this world so that they can back home and solve the problem there! Also he is just a general hero type.

But SoL is good too! Fgo as plenty of moments like that, along with weird, non serious events! A knight also needs some down time!

Current Activities/Developments: He is new and settling in, so there isn't too much going on, other than him having gone to the rebels with Ritsuka.
Future Developments: I am still feeling things out right now as I get set in this game. I would like him to really think on his loyalty and what it really means to him and all that, but we'll see.
Shipping/Romance: If something develops or works out, yeah. He does have a tendency to flirt in sometimes embarrassing or inappropriate ways with busty women. But he can accidentally be inappropriate with anyone, regardless of whether or not he is trying to be so, because he is an idiot. He also doesn't like older women, sorry /o\

He's a heroic spirit so he's actually quite old, but mentally/physically, he's probably around his early to mid 20s, which is probably a good thing to keep in mind.

Seeking: I'm looking to just get CR in general. More friends for him, maybe some rivals, even some negative CR.
Offering: He's a knight from Arthurian Legends. He's also good and loyal and will make a devoted friend and ally, or at least a fight buddy. He can also be stubborn, prone to explosive bursts of anger, especially towards people he finds to be truly evil, or who threaten his master in anyway

Canon: Persona 5
Brief Personality: Akechi is a charismatic, likeable ace detective and champion of justice, except that he isn't. In reality, he's a pathological liar with a metric ton of baggage he is trying (poorly) to ignore. Akechi is self-interested and emotionally damaged, but will more than likely appear as a pleasant, clever young man. He's had a lot of practice.
Appearance: Here! Akechi is often described has a pretty boy despite his scraggly long hair and he is very well-kempt.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Set on avoiding downtime as much as possible (an idle mind, etc. etc.), Akechi has set his focus on getting involved with the game plot as much as possible. He is a willing task partner and is usually pretty cooperative when it comes to working with others so long as their goals line up with his.
Current Activities/Developments: Akechi only arrived in Empatheias last month, so he has been familiarizing himself with the island and taken to learning as much as possible about the emotions and telepathic network. Aside from avoiding his feelings as much as possible, he jumped into the Thras investigation and participated in the efforts to bring the rebels to justice.
Future Developments: I'm kind of leaving Akechi's development up to the whims of plot and CR developments, whether that means good or bad things for him, though generally I'd like to see him maybe?? Become??? A somewhat stable person???? It's going to take a lot to get him to the point where he's even ready to deal with his baggage, but I'd like to dovetail that into him eventually learning Dunamis, too. Boy has a lot of emotions he needs to tackle, okay.
Shipping/Romance: WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS TO YOURSELF. Okay, but seriously, Akechi is definitely not in a place where he can accept friendship, let alone romance, so I'm not really looking for anything for him! But if things happen to develop that way eventually, I'm open to it. Just prepared for the slowest of slow burns.

Seeking: Goro "I'm Not Here to Make Friends" Akechi needs friends. The especially stubborn kind who won't be deterred when he deliberately tries to push them away. Along the same lines, sibling/parental types who will keep an eye out for him despite the fact that he's the worst. Also, fellow villain-types who have maybe chilled out and can teach him some chill??? Generally, people who will call him on his bullshit.
Offering: Akechi can be very easy to get negative CR with — he's less-inclined to play nice with everyone now, so unless he has a good reason to, he might just be rude as hell! He can also be a co-conspirator for some trouble, though for the most part he'll be trying to keep his hands clean here. That's not to say his mind can't be changed with the right incentive, though!

Character Name: Ritsuka Fujimaru
Canon: Fate/Grand Order
Brief Personality: Friendly, snarky, nerdy, and probably too forgiving for her own good. Also has a slight tendency to put others' needs/interests before her own. Somehow doesn't see herself as a hero despite everything she's done.
Appearance: Here have a picture! Although now that she's been here a couple months she's gotten some regular clothes and mostly saves that outfit for when she thinks she'll need it. So basically when she expects trouble or otherwise needs the extra protection it offers. Of note are those markings on the back of her right hand; they're always visible and look like this; they probably ping as pretty highly magical to anyone who can sense such things, too!

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: ALL THE THINGS Ritsuka is ICly interested in working on trying to save the world and all, but I'm definitely up for shenanigans and fluff and what have you, too!
Current Activities/Developments: So last month was... an ordeal for her in multiple ways. She's mostly gotten herself pulled together now but there's still some lingering effects of it all (largely in the form of self-doubt). At this point you'd probably have to either know her well or catch her off-guard to notice, though. OTHER THAN THAT she's still practicing hard at expanding her use of/getting better at dunamis, and seeking more ways to help out now that the whole Shaarnath business is more or less settled for now.
Future Developments: At the moment I'm just kind of taking things as they come! I have a few vague long-term ideas, and of course Ritsuka is working on learning dunamis, but otherwise just seeing how things go.
Shipping/Romance: ICly, Ritsuka is... I don't want to say not interested exactly, but very much avoidant because Kiyohime is here and that could get messy quickly. To the point where if she notices/realizes someone's showing romantic interest in her, she'll probably politely warn them that it's a bad idea and why. With that said, however, as far as I'm concerned OOCly feel free to try.

Seeking: Pretty much anything! Ritsuka will try to befriend everyone up into and including former (occasionally even current) enemies, so there's that. I'm definitely fine with attempts to deliberately mess with her too, just keep in mind the general warning that the Chaldea Servants may react poorly to someone causing their Master harm.
Offering: Need a snarky friend? Or just any friend willing to put up with your 99% tsun to 1% dere? Ritsuka's got you covered! Alternatively, she seems to have a knack for giving the impression of "is too kind for her own good" in more cynical types, so if you want to mildly butt heads over conflicting worldviews or have an outlet for protective instincts that works too!
Not Interested In/Avoiding: I love IC drama so there's nothing I'll automatically say no to, HOWEVER, I have to note that ICly, there are several Chaldea servants in the game now and none of them would react well to someone hurting their master, so please keep that in mind! Otherwise I'm game for just about anything.

Ryuunosuke Naruhodou

Character Name: Ryuunosuke Naruhodou
Canon: Dai Gyakuten Saiban (Great Ace Attorney)
Brief Personality: A lawyer-in-training who has a tendency to worry about the worse of situations and gets flustered easily. Though he doesn't come off as anyone outstanding, his straightforwardness and innocent nature makes him easy to talk to. Once friends, as long as it's within his power, he'll be there to help and someone that can be depended on.
Appearance: He always wears an armband on his right arm, showing his profession as a defense attorney. Often times, he's wearing something like this that's more suited for Verens fashion, though occasionally he brings out the school uniform. As of last December, he no longer carries Karma (the katana) having returned it to Asougi.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: A bit of both! SOL things come easy for Naruhodou, so I like to continue pushing him to try more adventurous things and learn through experience, even if he complains about it.
Current Activities/Developments: He is actively using the bow more when out on the field. Been working out more, though the sleeping in thing is still a work in progress. Trying and failing to get more clients for his business and getting involved with the current event happening in Emp. I've been at least working on strengthening a lot of his current CR and get under the surface with them these last few months. He's gonna be a busy boy this month, making and cooking things for people to give as gifts.
Future Developments: Further develop his dunamis abilities with the bow. Learn to be brave and not worry so much about things he doesn't have control over. He's overcome a lot of things as a lawyer, and I want it to translate to other tasks he isn't fully comfortable with basically. Get some part-time at a restaurant/cafe. Talk to an Arethei.

Brief Personality: Up front: A little bit over-dramatic and flowery in speech, but he comes across as a polite and gracious Prince who is extremely patient if not a little bit word-vomity when it comes to speaking sometimes.
However, deeper CR with him means you might one day see his true personality: which is that of a snide and pessimistic, self-loathing coward who is just a little selfish and extremely lonely. And he likes being lonely. He has no real idea how to relate to people, as he's extremely bad at socializing. He likes to fake it but sometimes it's so obvious to see that he's winging it.

Appearance: He's got a very regal look to him, dark skin a contrast from the pure white outfit he wears. Be it the robe version with the long sleeves, or the version with a cape, he's extremely easy to pick out in a crowd.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both, honestly. He's a Servant, which means he's extremely capable of fighting and survival. Being an Archer, he's blessed with the skill of Independant Action, which means he doesn't need his master to go along with him if he chooses to go adventuring on his own.
On the other side of the coin, given he's literally the worst at socializing and he has no idea what to do with bonds or friendships, having him learn to cherish people and reconsider his literal wish to be alone eternally (so he doesn't have to bear the weight of others' hearts) is really important to me.
Current Activities/Developments: He's only just arrived, so he's a little aimless. He wishes to find a job that suits him so he can help his master pay for the things she needs, but he also wishes to help the city and its plight if only to one day assure he and his master can return home to solve their own world's crisis. He's a servant without a goal and he's restless.
Future Developments: For the future, he needs to face the fact that he cannot pretend to be someone he's not for the rest of his life. He's terrified that if people see what his 'true' personality (a side of him he refers to as 'Black', a personality that is completely separate from the one he puts on outwardly) that they will think him disgusting and view him as something he isn't. (He's supposed to be a hero, and seeing his 'true face' is something that's terrifying for him.) He's lived a life where he's felt chained down by expectations and his true wish is to live a life he chose for himself, instead of one that was chosen by others.
Shipping/Romance: In life, Arjuna had two wives, but it was said that due to his life as a Prince and a Kshatriya, that they were women he married out of obligation, rather than romance. In truth, shipping with him would be rather hard as he has trouble with friendships, let alone bonds--so you'd really have to work hard to catch his attention in a way that would make him even consider opening his heart up. For now, it's probably not a good idea.

Seeking: People who will deal with his really weird personality long enough to try to get him to open up a little. People to go on adventures and missions with, to fight alongside, or even to mentor. He was known as the Greatest Archer in all of India, and was an accomplished warrior. Things like this wouldn't go amiss.

Serious military face is go.
Alice is a person who doesn't see herself as considerate when she really is, grew up on tales of heroes and aspires to be like them as well as the grandfather she saw as one of those heroes. She seeks to uphold what is right and just even if that means standing against those in far more powerful positions than herself. She has a strong sense of noblesse oblige and believes she must take no ones side to uphold the truth.

The last point she's been having some trouble with as time goes on and she acknowledges her feelings more. There's conflict between the part of her that wants to remain detached for her ideal of noblesse oblige and the other part of her that feels very deeply for those around her.

Appearance:

Alice is best known for her height and slim build. At five foot and fairly tiny, it's a bit of a point in canon how surprising it is that she can be so intimidating. One fellow military man who tangled with her in a fight is surprised to see her shortly after and talks about how she seemed much taller when they fought. Overall she keeps a very military sort of way of dress with neat button ups and slack. Sometimes she wears short sleeve shirts when working here though.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE:
A bit of both honestly. I am interested in getting Alice to relax a little on her heavily military-focused stance. She's been so wrapped up in learning combat and devoting herself to a military life that she's neglected to think about her feelings or anything else. It's to the point in canon where she feels guilt over the idea that she may actually be developing romantic feelings for someone because that means she's not focused exclusively on her work.
I want her to relax, I want her to learn what it is to have a life as well as still being active in combat and anything justice wise she gets into here. So far so good!

Current Activities/Developments:
I'd really like to find more friends that will help challenge Alice on a social level. Heck, if you have someone more experienced with relationships than she is, please take her under your wing. She's going on a year now dating Shiro, two years in game this month and even with many romance novels she still doesn't fully get aspects of romantic relationships.

She's also had a canon update recently that involved a lot of fighting and bloodshed with a lot more to come so I welcome people to talk that over with once she deigns to share details with them. (Because Alice is the sort that doesn't talk about her past or experiences in great detail very often.)

Future Developments:
I like to play these sort of things by ear but I definitely want her to continue growing. She's become very comfortable in the life she has here and I feel like something needs to shake things up for her.

Alice has been dating Shiro for a year and some change now, if I remember right. They've finally reached the cutesy lovey-dovey stage and I welcome people prodding her for amusement over that.

Current Activities/Developments: Recent events have only served to fuel Asuna's self doubt. Though her friends here have started to help her through it, she's been beating herself up for not doing more. In her own world, she's under the looming threat of losing the world and friends she cares about, and is grappling with the sudden disappearance of someone she quickly grew close to. In short, she's grappling with her place in both worlds she now calls home.
Future Developments: Asuna needs an escape in the worst way, which the holidays will hopefully provide. Driving her in the future will be a deep desire to help others in a larger sense than she has before, and to continue to cultivate her skills and find a role that makes her happy. Strengthening her friendships and coming to terms with her self doubt are going to be a driving force for her.
Shipping/Romance: Though she's been pining for her boyfriend Kirito, recent events have made her question a few things. The door's opening a little more for her to consider it, but it would probably be a long journey to get there which might be perfect for fans of slow burn ships.

Seeking: Lighter fare this month, maybe some silly holiday things? And Asuna is always interesting in forging new friendships and doing nice things for others. Silly and cute moments with friends are also welcome! Asuna also hasn't butted heads with anyone too badly thus far, and a little negative CR might be fun to play out as long as it isn't too serious.

Brief Personality: You're getting a two-in-one package with this guy. Surprising, I know, given the name. At first glance, Jekyll is polite and kind, pretty much what you'd expect from an English gentleman. He's a doctor by trade and a scholar at heart, with a strong sense of justice. He's responsible, hard-working, intelligent, and self-sacrificing.

In comparison, Hyde is loud, rude, selfish, and fickle. He hates good, upstanding, wholesome people and loves the depraved, the twisted, the mad. Can be childish and petty, especially if he's bored. Thinks he's hilarious. Also prone to violence, so... watch out?

Appearance: He doesn't know how to button his pants properly. APART FROM THAT, however, he dresses quite well. Under that vest, however, he hides a bloodstained shirt. He appears to be a handsome young man with a pleasant smile.

On the other hand, Hyde looks a lot like Jekyll, except with red eyes, messier/wilder hair, and his clothes are disheveled. He also likes to use his Self-Modification skill to sharpen his teeth, purely for the scare factor. He's extra like that.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both! Jekyll is bound to be curious about the secrets of this world, plus he likes helping people. Hyde can't stand being bored and dragging him on an adventure would be a better way to work off his excess energy versus letting him CREATE trouble instead.
Current Activities/Developments: Jekyll definitely wants a job. He's still adjusting since he's a recent arrival, but he wants to start branching out and making a life here so he won't be a burden on his Master, Ritsuka. Of course, this is made more difficult by the fact that he does struggle with Hyde. Right now, he's pretending to be an average human, and he'd rather no one outside the Fate crew know about Hyde if he can help it. That's not going to happen, though.
Future Developments: I'd love to see him find more of a balance with himself. He's unstable, despite his best efforts to hold himself together and pretend he's functional. That's not helped by the fact that Jekyll hates Hyde, and vice versa. Hyde has proved that he would absolutely kill Jekyll if somehow given the chance, and if Jekyll could finally truly rid himself of Hyde, he would. He's a mess. HIS TERRIBLE MENTAL STATE ASIDE, THOUGH, in a more tangible sense I'd like to see him get a job and start meeting more people outside his cast. Someone meeting Hyde first and striking up a friendship with his wild Berserker half would especially baffle Jekyll, but it'd amuse the heck out of me. Jekyll would also like to learn Dunamis, he finds it fascinating.
Shipping/Romance: Romance is... probably not going to happen. He's already pretty attached to his Master, Ritsuka, although he knows that's never going anywhere. But ultimately, he wouldn't want to put someone through trying to romance him—because he's Hyde, too, and it's just too risky. Someone would have to capture both of their interests' and somehow get through their myriad of problems before he'd consider romance, and even then he'd probably say you're better off with someone else. ^^
Seeking: A wide variety! I'm open for almost anything, but here's a few examples: I'd love to meet scholarly/nerdy people for Jekyll to geek out with, loud wild people for Hyde to either butt heads or have fun with, people who would tease Jekyll, younger characters he can try to help and then inevitably turn out to be a disappointing role model when they find out about Hyde.
Offering: He's both a good boy and a bad boy, so take your pick! Starting CR with Jekyll is definitely the safer route, but if your character wants to try and hit up Hyde, I certainly won't stop you. Also, fun fact: if you can get close enough to Jekyll, you'll also get some CR immunity with Hyde, so you can get added to his "I GUESS I won't try to stab them :/" list. Although, if you actually want to be stabbed for some reason, Hyde... is your guy? For the most part, though, Jekyll is going to do his best to keep Hyde from truly hurting anyone, especially with his Master nearby.

Brief Personality: 18 year old light novel protagonist wannabe university student who seems like the quiet and reserved type but is actually kind of prickly, very proud, has trust issues, and can have a sarcastic internal monologue going when dealing with people who give him a hard time. He's a pretty practical and down to earth guy though and actually does kind of look out for the people he cares about. Just don't make him have to admit he actually cares or that they're friends out loud because he's trying to be all cool and aloof over here okay??

Despite playing on the basketball team in high school he's also kind of a lowkey huge nerd who's into light novels and computers.

Appearance: 6'0, pale, grey hair, grey eyes that make him look dead inside. One thing that's notable about Mayuzumi is that he's kind of lacking in presence, which means it's hard for the average person to notice him when he's around unless he's doing something to call attention to himself like speaking up; observant normal humans and anyone with supernatural perception won't have much of a problem noticing him, though. Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Slice of life for now; he's going to generally be avoiding doing anything dangerous for the most part (or at least trying...)

Current Activities/Developments: Mayuzumi's a recent arrival and has been trying to settle in and adjust. He's got a part-time waiter job at the cafe mentioned in his TDM thread and has been doing other odd jobs on the side. He was recently helping out with the efforts in Shaarnath, sticking to noncombat tasks like helping with preparing supplies and repairs.

Future Developments: I'd like to have him work on learning dunamis, and also eventually I want him to hire someone to teach him some self-defense skills once he's got enough money. He can be very independent so he'll want to be able to watch out for himself rather than having to rely on others to protect him (and he maybe lowkey wants to be able to protect the people he cares about, too, especially after this business with Akashi getting injured.) I'd also really like him to get mixed up in some adventuring and exploration stuff later on when he's more capable, since he is the type who enjoys exploring.

In terms of overall character development, I'd like him to get past some of his cynicism about people and develop a more positive outlook on life; he's dealt with some people who were more the fair weather friend types and has been in a position where he was treated as a pawn in the recent past (even if he's gotten over that latter part to some extent) so it's easy for him to be suspicious and assume people might have ulterior motives when they're nice to him. Since he's aligned with Piphron I'm really keen on his emotional growth being focused on learning how to trust others, making friends, and developing closer and more honest relationships with people he forms bonds with.

Shipping/Romance: Mayuzumi's kind of a standoffish guy so it might take a little time to develop, but he's open to dating and relationships. I'm all in on flirting and cute shipteasing stuff even if it doesn't necessarily end up going anywhere other than friends. Characters who are reasonably close to his age/maturity level (like roughly sixteen up into the early twenties) would work best.

Seeking: Anything and everything! I'd like him to make more friends in general, but also am fond of frenemy/rival type relationships where the characters butt heads. Characters that are cheerful, teasing, or the persistently friendly type can wear his tsundere front down pretty well; he also gets along with people who are generally quieter and calmer, even if they may be similarly standoffish to him (as long as they're on the same general wavelength of not hassling each other about feelings and stuff). Weird and over the top ridiculous characters who give him headaches are also excellent.

Offering: A bit of an aloof senpai, an otaku-oriented reading buddy, someone to play basketball with, a guy who will bluntly point out your questionable choices in life but also be unexpectedly reliable and give backhanded advice and encouragement.

Not Interested In/Avoiding: No violence or injuries right now. While I'm cool with him having some CR that's more antagonistic, 100% negative CR where he doesn't have any reason to put up with the other person probably won't work out; Mayuzumi will just stone cold drop someone who annoys him too much and completely ignore they exist if he isn't interested in dealing with them rather than continuing to engage.

Anything Else: I'm not interested in fourthwalling so beyond the fake light novel series Mayuzumi reads in canon I usually leave his light novel musings pretty vague and have him refer to stuff more in terms of general tropes.
