Welcome to Empatheias' plotting and CR meme! Please fill out the form below with all of the necessary information. Then go forth and reply to others, plot, make friends, have shenanigans!

The Plot and CR meme will be posted on the first of each month, and will be posted once the intro posts have been posted, and again during the mid-month announcement. We highly encourage everyone to check the post from time to time, even if a week has passed. You never know what kind of opportunities you could be missing!

INSTRUCTIONS

• Feel free to use the "Open Mingling Announcements" and "Task Board Recruitment" top levels for better focused organisation. Note: Any large scale group plots should still be posted to the OOC community proper.

• For more general plotting and to talk about CR you wish to build, create your own top level following the format below. Put your character's name in the subject line, or your name in the subject line if you have more than one character.

• Fill out the form and comment away! The top level relating to the task board has a different form, catered specifically to task board related things, as well.

• Tip! If mentioning tasks, include both the task ID and a brief two-word blurb to easily identify (eg., ST0602 Giant Fish).

Character Name: Goro Akechi
Canon: Persona 5
Brief Personality: Akechi is a charismatic, likeable ace detective and champion of justice, except that he isn't. In reality, he's a pathological liar with a metric ton of baggage he is trying (poorly) to ignore. Akechi is self-interested and emotionally damaged, but will more than likely appear as a pleasant, clever young man. He's had a lot of practice.
Appearance: Here! Akechi is often described has a pretty boy despite his scraggly long hair and he is very well-kempt.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Set on avoiding downtime as much as possible (an idle mind, etc. etc.), Akechi has set his focus on getting involved with the game plot as much as possible. He is a willing task partner and is usually pretty cooperative when it comes to working with others so long as their goals line up with his.
Current Activities/Developments: Akechi only arrived in Empatheias last month, so he has been familiarizing himself with the island and taken to learning as much as possible about the emotions and telepathic network. Aside from avoiding his feelings as much as possible, he jumped into the Thras investigation and participated in the efforts to bring the rebels to justice.
Future Developments: I'm kind of leaving Akechi's development up to the whims of plot and CR developments, whether that means good or bad things for him, though generally I'd like to see him maybe?? Become??? A somewhat stable person???? It's going to take a lot to get him to the point where he's even ready to deal with his baggage, but I'd like to dovetail that into him eventually learning Dunamis, too. Boy has a lot of emotions he needs to tackle, okay.
Shipping/Romance: WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS TO YOURSELF. Okay, but seriously, Akechi is definitely not in a place where he can accept friendship, let alone romance, so I'm not really looking for anything for him! But if things happen to develop that way eventually, I'm open to it. Just prepared for the slowest of slow burns.

Seeking: Goro "I'm Not Here to Make Friends" Akechi needs friends. The especially stubborn kind who won't be deterred when he deliberately tries to push them away. Along the same lines, sibling/parental types who will keep an eye out for him despite the fact that he's the worst. Also, fellow villain-types who have maybe chilled out and can teach him some chill??? Generally, people who will call him on his bullshit.
Offering: Akechi can be very easy to get negative CR with — he's less-inclined to play nice with everyone now, so unless he has a good reason to, he might just be rude as hell! He can also be a co-conspirator for some trouble, though for the most part he'll be trying to keep his hands clean here. That's not to say his mind can't be changed with the right incentive, though!

I can definitely offer villain CR! And I guess she qualifies as chilled out since she's not pulling Danganronpa: Empatheias Edition or anything like that here.

YES, I would absolutely love CR with these two! That's enough chill for him tbh, she can show him how to adjust to...not murdering anyone.

She's definitely a good person to talk to about not murdering everyone. Or just making sure it counts since the Reaper's kind of a jerk about things like that.

YEAH tbh it makes the whole murder thing pretty unsatisfying when people don't stay dead...guess he's gonna need a new hobby.

Yeah. Like Junko is 100% here for the emotional aspect of not being able to die when killed, but if you want them to stay dead, that's kind of tough. Just channel those murdery impulses into something less murdery I guess.

We should totally!! do something!! once school is done murdering me anyway which will hopefully be after this upcoming week. idk they could do a task or if you're planning for some kind of open post or we could figure something out, whatever. King is here to be a no-nonsense friend. "friend."

Definitely a "friend" in quotation marks but that's also as good as with Akechi right now so I mean...

BUT YES I'd love to do more with them, I'm undecided on whether or not he'll have an open post this month but I'm absolutely down for tasks! He'll be at the Christmas Party too, somehow...

Yeahhh, I have no plans for an open post myself either since I, uh, am traditionally terrible at them. But yes, if nothing else, I am sure King would want to swoop by and idly keep an eye on him to make sure nothing else was going out of control or whatever. points at his eyes, points at Akechi.

Yes excellent, he definitely needs someone to keep an eye on him to keep him from getting too...extra. Keep doing to the good work, King. And please call him detective prince, he'll find it amusing at first and then eventually get so annoyed but his pride won't let him cave.

Watch it be six months or something before he tells King his name...

POOR EIKICHI, HE DESERVES BETTER THAN THIS but at least next time they meet Akechi will be...a lot calmer...

That's a lot better than before. I mean if he ends up going to the spa, Eikichi would at least be super polite about it. If not they can run into each other and he'd just...say hi and apologize for his outbursts.

Look one of his best friends was a wish-granting sort-evil clown for a bit, it's not like he has good life choices.

I can just picture Akechi walking into the spa, spotting Eikichi, and pulling a Grandpa Simpson and walking back out again. SO HE MAY HAVE BETTER LUCK ambushing him out and about somewhere. A friendship ambush.
