Welcome to Empatheias' plotting and CR meme! Please fill out the form below with all of the necessary information. Then go forth and reply to others, plot, make friends, have shenanigans!

The Plot and CR meme will be posted on the first of each month, and will be posted once the intro posts have been posted, and again during the mid-month announcement. We highly encourage everyone to check the post from time to time, even if a week has passed. You never know what kind of opportunities you could be missing!

You can better believe I'll make things ridiculous for all of them, and for the pirates one, while Rokurou would not mind going in for the kill, he cooooould be persuaded to just take them down if his partner is that against the idea.

Auron | Final Fantasy X

Brief Personality: Mostly stoic with occasional prickly anger, but also has a deep loyalty for true friends. If you can manage to be one to him!
Appearance: Older looking man, 6 foot, usually seen around town wearing a red robe, a giant katana on his back. Missing his right eye and wearing shades.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Kind of need to get Auron into more adventure and doing that with new CR might be the way to go. So going to throw him at tasks and take on a few events.

At the same time, as someone who works at a bar, he's also used to meeting people so if you just want to hang out and drink and try to get to know him, that will work too.

Current Activities/Developments: Auron has a home with a flying wyvern and a rapidly growing chocobo chick. He takes on tasks and works as a bartender at From the Hearth. Not!dad of Squall and not!uncle of Sora and trying to be a semi-decent role model. If on the prickly side.

Future Developments: Trying to get more CR for Auron, throw him into things a bit more and figure this place out. All the events with Sosyne have shown that there's a lot more to consider.

Shipping/Romance: Auron is happily in a relationship with Regis, but if your character is into rugged older men, I don't mind if the character has a one-sided crush.

Seeking: Task partners, drinking buddies, perhaps new children to unintentionally adopt?

Offering: Someone who might be hard to know at first but opens up over time. Also good at listening to problems and being a mentor to those characters who might need an adult to help them out.

We had discussed some checking in with these two so Terra can catch up with Auron, she hasn't forgotten how kind he was to her! We just did a hunt with Auron and Ignis, but maybe there's another task these two might like to take on together since he had offered himself up as a partner?

Rokurou Rangetsu | Tales of Berseria

Character Name: Rokurou Rangetsu
Canon: Tales of Berseria

Brief Personality: He's a very laidback daemon with a rather "positive" attitude in the sense that he doesn't sweat the small stuff too much and just rolls with most things. As a war daemon, fighting is pretty much his life and what he enjoys most, with the sword being his one true love beloved favored weapon. He excels in dual short swords but isn't too shabby with the greatsword, either. He follows the role of the "samurai" fairly well, living up to those codes and his family name. Can be super loyal and supportive, will repay any debt he owes, will look out for the younger crowd, and just overall a nice and fun guy to be around, especially at a bar. Loves that alcohol. He can also be a little bit of a fun jokester and a troll. But hidden beneath that nice guy exterior is a dark ball of rage that only surfaces when he's really into his fight. He doesn't like being interrupted. Period. A lot of that rage comes from his hatred for his older brother, but a lot of that has been resolved. He's otherwise pretty chill.

Appearance: Even though Rokurou will probably find standard Verens clothing, if possible he'll be sporting his usual style of traditional samurai attire: kimono, hakama, the arm guard, and wielding three swords (great sword on the back, dual short swords behind). Here's his character design as reference!

The real interesting part of his look to note is his hair, specifically that giant chunk over the right side of his face. That's because it's covering his daemon eye, with the black markings running down his neck. Now the fun part about his daemon eye is that only those with special spiritual/supernatural abilities, are nonhuman, OR aligned with Thras can see it. Otherwise, he looks completely normal. (Side note, the hair thing is a stylistic choice, he honestly doesn't care if people see his eye or not.)

I'm pretty lax about the visibility thing, so even if someone makes a mistake, I'll roll with it. Rokurou doesn't care, neither do I. Blame it on different world shenanigans /jazzhands.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: While I like both, adventure/exploration type of plots are better suited for Rokurou's type. He is definitely going to go and check out all the new places, fight whatever comes at him, and have a grand old time with it. Can definitely expect him signing up for the various monster hunts every month. But he'd also be down for any opportunity to just relax and drink. Maybe fish. And turn it into a challenge because that's more fun, right? I wouldn't mind throwing him on some fun expedition, though! Explore the world, fight new types of monsters and dealing with emotions sounds like a fun challenge.

Current Activities/Developments: He's been through quite a bit this past month with the attack on Sosyne and subsequent consequences. He didn't have his swords for a month and a half, so that left him pretty sour. Annnd he also actually felt some real guilt for a few people. Not on his actions since he's the type to stick to his choice, but he did feel bad with the end result and despite knowing what would happen in terms of a few of his relationships, turns out it sucked more than he thought because he actually made ~friends~ and his old dead feelings are not so dead. So he had a bit of a malevolence problem, but Kor's going to fix him up and he'll be back to his usual self.

In fact, he'll be even better! He knows he doesn't have the best public opinion right now, but he's still going to throw himself at various hunts and tasks and not really mind it. But yeah, more refreshed and stuff.

For this month, I do have an open log planned where he's going to call out for ANYONE to come fight him because he's that happy about getting his swords back. But definitely going down to do the Festival of the Hunt and a few other tasks.

Future Developments: For this month I don't have too much planned, but would like to take him on a real expedition down on the surface for the exploration, challenge, and hopefully some more CR development/bonding.

I do want to continue having him realize that hey unlike back home, he can actually make friends. And while he'll still do what he wants, that tension between what he wants to do and keeping in mind of others and how his actions will actually affect people and care about it is something I'd like to explore more. Other ways of showing this strange balance is having him help others. For his CR that's been badly damaged, he sucks at trying to defend himself because he just lets things be, so action like this will be better to do to start making amends.

Some other things would be him actually starting to train to dual wield his two greatswords and maybe go back to teaching. That one's a tough call given things that have happened, but it's a thought. It would give him another sense of "grounding" or some more meaning to living in Emp (even if temporary). Basically if you don't want him helping wreck things, he needs other reasons to consider and become important.

Shipping/Romance: I am always up for shipping. Rokurou doesn't think to much about it because he's too crazy about fighting and swords, but it's not impossible. He'll still flirt and tease if someone does it to him at least.

Seeking: Not really all that picky. Anyone who can click well with him to get into random hijinks, drink buddies, fighting partners or rivals. I'm even cool if someone wants to go after him, he'll just deal with it (maybe even have fun with it depending on how it goes).

Offering: He can be a good older brother figure and supportive guy, so if anyone needs that he could work fairly well. Looking for a sparring partner or maybe want to learn how to fight (especially with a sword)? HE'S YOUR GUY.

Not Interested In/Avoiding: I'm open to a lot of things, but if there's something hardcore or questionable, just hit me up and we can talk!

Brief Personality: Woman of few words who comes off a little cold and imposing sometimes, but she's really just a kind-hearted marshmallow beneath the ice. Independent, stern, kind of cheeky, definitely the big sis, and cares a ton about the people she loves.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Lightning lends herself well to both! She's had enough adventure in her life to last her five more centuries, so sometimes it's nice for her to sit back and relax, but she also wants to help people/save the damn world all the time and she's an excellent fighter, so she is always down for something a little more action-oriented, too. Although this month, I'd prefer to take it easy on action-y type threads!

Current Activities/Developments: Mostly still living her life and is happy doing it! She punched Machina (twice) for what he did and she's still pissed about the attack, and she told Yeul about her role in the Chaos and the end of the world, but other than that, there is nothing really major to note.

Future Developments: Nothing in the works at the moment! I'd like to get her some new cross-canon CR, so that'll be my priority. :) I'll likely be putting up an open post for her in the next few days, as well.

Shipping/Romance: Romansu! 💕

Seeking: Friends, frienemies, enemies, and everything in between! Some more hunting partners, or even some negative CR would be neat! She works well against people with some energy and pep who can put up with and break through her "ugh" attitude as well.
Offering: Someone to spar/train with, combat teacher, the stoic friend or the big sister friend... if you like over-the-top fight scenes equipped with rose petals or someone who can offer real and honest opinions on anything, then she's also your gal! She also grills a mean behemoth steak.

Brief Personality: Self appointed world saver who is confident, forward and friendly though can also act recklessly. Enjoys nothing more than helping others no matter what needs doing or how long it takes to do it. Tends to bottle up her worries rather than actually talk about them. Likes training to keep her skills fresh, ghost stories and cooking. On the whole she's fairly laid back but she can become stubborn and bossy if need be, such as jobs not getting done.

Appearance: Usually wears something along the lines of the outfit she arrived in. Long skirts, dresses, tights or leggings underneath in bright colours. Also that green hair. Even when training or in a fight she tends to go for her usual clothing. Once she finds some weapons she's comfortable with then she'll be carrying those with her full time, or wearing them if she just goes for some fancy gloves.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: A mix of both! Farah is happy working on tasks, taking odd jobs, farming, cooking and anything else more SoL-y. However she's also strong and good in a fight, likes to train to improve her skills and is more than used to beating up monsters. She's also down to teach people how to do any of the above, work people, train together- You name it.

Current Activities/Developments: Now that she's settled in Farah is going to be picking up tasks and putting her all into helping where she can and earning some cash in the process. There are supplies and ingredients she wants to look into, clothing she wants to buy and plenty of people she needs to pay back for their kindness when she first arrived.

And speaking of paying back, there are a few people she ran into who she said she would bake with, train with, explore with and all that so she will try and get in contact with anyone who falls under that and let them know now is a good time.

Outside of "help everyone" she'll be looking for some gauntlets, knuckles-- Some kind of fist weapon to help her out. She can punch bare handed just fine, but after fighting fish and beating storage room doors under the lake... Yeah she wants something to protect her hands.

When she has spare time Farah will be looking around the forests and Lake Niras just to take in the scenery and to unwind from working hard.

Future Developments: With her desire to help going into overdrive now she's settled I'm looking to have Farah overwork herself to the point of exhaustion basically. She's stubborn and determined so she might need a talk about maybe learning how to chill... Of course she won't chill for long since that isn't her speed at all. Eventually (because heaven knows how long I want to drag it out for) I want to build up to her guilt from home getting to her here and her desire to help others waning as she ends up putting on a brave face as her emotions go haywire around her. Fun!

Less seriously, a big exploration/expedition/etc to go on would be amazing. Building a fire together, cooking on the go, kicking butt as a team-- It would be a fun chance to develop current CR or start something new entirely.

Shipping/Romance: Farah does have a close friend back home she was catching feelings for though saving the world kind of got in the way there. That said I am absolutely up for any kind of shipping, though it might take a while to build up to anything as Farah sorts out her feelings.

Seeking: Training buddies she can meet with regularly to spar and practice with, maybe rope some people into her ridiculous training regimes. Cooking buddies who might want to share recipes or just wreck the kitchen. And given the month, if anyone wants spooking or wants to swap scary stories, look no further!

Offering: A friendly, confident farm girl who can fight to boot. She can rope people into things and drag them along to tasks they might not have gone for otherwise. Will boss people around or tease as necessary to get things done! Might cause trouble by jumping into situations without fully understanding what's going on despite meaning well.

Our event thread with these two is still fairly young, but Farah has already left an impression on Terra and she would absolutely be interested in following up with her later this month! Whether it's taking on a task or becoming sparring buddies, she not only likes how good Farah is in a fight, but her attitude as well. She also knows a little something about going into overdrive with wanting to help people while distracting herself...

Christine | Ignis Scientia, Neptune Vasilias & Terra Branford

Canon: Final Fantasy XV
Brief Personality: Intelligent and well-spoken, with a wide sarcastic streak and a love of puns and cutting remarks. He is a mom friend through-and-through, and even following the loss of his sight he is concerned with the well-being of his friends and family before his own. He is a strategic mind with a keen interest in learning more about this world’s history and how it might be restored. He is loyal to an absolute fault, and takes his promises and responsibilities extremely seriously.
Appearance: 6’0”, lean, athletic build, always impeccably dressed and well put-together. He wears dark or otherwise opaque glasses to hide his eyes since his injury, but there are still scars that can be seen peeking out above and below the frames, as well as a scar across his nose and on his lower lip. He has floofy cockatoo hair that he somehow makes work for him.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both! Leaning more towards adventure at the moment. Ignis is just about back to full-swing adventure mode, although he tends to require a partner for anything combat-oriented these days.
Current Activities/Developments: Ignis just spent two months in a row with very key figures in his life being crystallized, but now that everyone is back, he’s feeling much better than he has in awhile. Aside from his usual managing of the Hearth, he is looking to start taking up tasks in his free time again and is very interested in the facility found beneath Lake Niras.
Future Developments: Ignis would like to get more directly involved in helping to foster/maintain good relations with the locals, and would like to resume his learning of Dunamis, as he gave it up after his injury in the interest of focusing on adapting to life without his sight.
Shipping/Romance: He’s happily married!

Seeking: Always interested in making new friends, though negative CR is also welcome. I’m also very much interested in following up with incidental CR he’s made over the last few months/before hiatus so that it can be taken further! Any CR is good CR.
Offering: A parental sort of friend who will lend a listening ear should you need one, a fellow foodie if you’re the sort who likes to cook or just plain likes to eat, or a potential employer should anyone be interested in taking a job at From the Hearth. Brief Personality: Stoic alien robot with few words and may come across as cold and emotionless. But under the icy surface is a somewhat nice and 100% idealistic bot. Takes a while to warm up, but past the ice block is a loyal friend who cares about those he loves.
Appearance: He's a Cybertronian. He stands at 7'5, can transforms into an armored car, and he's blue. He has another form he occasionally uses for outing purposes- his human avatar form. His avatar is much smaller than SW himself, standing at 5', and usually wears punk-ish clothes. Also, blue. He may introduce himself as either Sonia or Soundwave, really depends on the circumstances and if the other person realizes that "she" is not "real".

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both! SoL for CR-building purposes, and ic-ly Soundwave prefers adventures more.

Current Activities/Developments: Mostly lurking about everywhere as he usually does and seeking advice about love. Also, maybe learning to bake for the first time. Now that his important friend is back from being crystallized he's going to check on her and generally be a bit worried for her, other than that nothing major.

Future Developments: Nothing much in the works for this month except bonding/CR development and looking for new CRs.

Shipping/Romance: He has his spark taken by someone else and is very attached to her. If your character's the type to have crushes and/or love hitting on robotkind, I still welcome those (this apply to his cute human avatar, too), so long as you know nothing will come out of it.

Seeking: Fellow robotkind/artificial being! Non-human! People from war-torn world! Negative CR is possible with him, too! He's... not the most friendliest of person at times.
Offering: TsundereAn "emotionless" cold soldier/stoic friend that is actually a decent person inside and is making slow progress to chill out. Eventually, when he cares about someone enough, he will generally be a big bro to them. Task buddy and potential sparring partner.

Brief Personality: A nice boy that means no harm to anyone or anything. He tries to get along with everyone and means well. However, he's also someone who's said to be emotional while being very good at controlling and concealing them, negative ones especially. Goodness the negative ones some days...
Appearance: At the moment, slightly paler than normal and seems tired. If he seems a little irritable some days, he's sorry about that.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: ADVENTURE! He's getting wound up and needs to get some energy out. Same with Plagg which is why he's going to be transformed for a good amount of the month.
Current Activities/Developments: He's better with the emotions around him being better, but he's still feeling cruddy. I have plans for him to meet with Hizumi this month (he was supposed to last month but things came up), but besides that and dealing with things as Chat Noir his month... yeah.
Future Developments: Recover, having that hint-hint-nudge-nudge thing happen... though, Season Two is almost done so there might be a canon update. That aside, meet with his Arehtei for love advice if he'll see him.
Shipping/Romance: Still dating Marinette. Actually, she's moved in with him! Though, that's because she was kicked out of her own home... still!

Seeking: Any and all CR, but since this month will be mostly Chat Noir going about, similar adventurers or heroic types would be good right now.
Offering: Right now? Offering that kid trying to do everything despite everyone insisting 'go home and go to bed' and he's like 'nooo it's okay I'm fine'. He's very well-practiced at saying everything's fine despite things maybe literally being on fire.

Brief hehe Personality: Trunks has gone from cute little brat with a devil may care attitude to cute dork who often plays the adult now and is the young president of Capsule Corporation. Looooves technology and will happily rip apart anything new and shiny to learn about it, easily flustered and embarrassed if you tease him too much but can tease you right back if you're not careful (he has a little sister so he knows how to do it well), will defend and protect those who need it, often takes the logical approach to situations/takes his time to reach a decision rather than jump right in as he often did as a kid which also extends to him being able to make difficult decisions sometimes. Also has a lot of patience what with having to play the adult and reel both Pan and child Goku in even if he was tempted to lose his mind around them at times.

Appearance: Lavender hair, pretty blue eyes, muscular build, taller than his dad but who isn't??, dresses pretty casual when not done up in a suit and tie as Capsule Corp's president. The best way to tell him and his future self apart aside from this one being way more chill is probably going to be with their scarves: future Trunks wears a red scarf while this Trunks wears a blue scarf hence their nicknames of red and blue now.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: A mix of both works for him since he can easily do either.

Current Activities/Developments: Trunks has been back in Verens for about a month since his canon update so he's adjusted to the whole going from 8 to 25 thing and reconnected with his cast and close CR so things are good there. Minus the whole Zamasu stabbing him thing but you know, it happens. He also regained his robot buddy Giru from back home who can often be found around with him and is usually getting himself into trouble somehow. He's toying with the idea of maybe getting his own place?? Tbd for the moment since he can be a momma's boy but also needing that space to himself. He's also keeping some ANGSTY STUFF TO HIMSELF (currently only his future self and rokurou know about it) and not letting his cast in on it so if you see him looking off into the distance sadly that's probably what he's thinking about. o/ Also in the process of helping Thras find a birthday??

Future Developments: Next month is his birthday?? Aside from that and maybe Thras things, there's not much planned for him at the moment but if you've come across him as a kid, even briefly, and are interested in further connection with him as an adult, I'm totally open to that! ICly she is living that non-combatant life, preoccupied with the day to day struggles rather than getting too involved in what she doesn't understand. But, things can happen!

Current Activities/Developments:
For the past few months she has been working in the infirmary of the enforcers, which has been a pretty big step for her all things considered. It's a good job and she's learning a lot even if at most she's there for comforting tea or helping file things when things are too hectic. But it keeps her nice and safely tucked out of the public eye and in a position to help others.

Currently most of her Concerns have been for the care of people she knows--her housemates, Peony, Luke and Asch--she dotes on, or her neighbors, like Kevin and Hibiki and so on. She has more breathing room to look toward others now that she's not intentionally hiding herself away from the world, either. Even if the early part of the previous month had brought back some unpleasant reminders, but she's soldiering on as she can.

Future Developments:
Right now things are fairly quiet for her for once and she's more involved in other people's related traumas than her own. Which is good! She also still needs to come around to being more open to learning dunamis. She's been telling herself for so long that she needs to be "normal" and "nonthreatening" so she hasn't really even considered her own potential.

She's in a much healthier mindset to think about it more plausibly now than when it was earlier suggested, at least...

Future Developments: As mentioned above, his long term project is studying the Brinndosi mech and trying to build a mech of his own so he can use it to capture an Arehtei for Team Rocket since he's convinced they're legendary Pokémon. This is VERY long term. He is going to try to look into Dunamis.

Current Activities/Developments: I was on hiatus last month so he didn't do too much, but overall he's mostly trying to find a house to move into with his friends and being rude to people, but in a helpful way. He works at a clinic part-time, plays piano at Funtom part-time, and practices basketball. He also does tasks periodically!
Future Developments:

Brief Personality: Not to be confused with his future self, this one's a life-loving nerd who grew up way too early but got to stop fighting androids when he was 10. Unfortunately for him, that didn't mean he got to go on a Pokemon journey. He's got a real thirst for knowledge and a strong desire to protect life, but he's got some real skeletons in his closet. Social awkwardness, some anxieties over whether he's really got what it takes to be the hero everyone (including himself) wants him to be, and a strong fear of how dangerous his emotions can be are just the top of the list for him. But despite his issues, he's a kind, straightforward person through and through.
Appearance: Normally, nothing really stands out about him. He's pretty normal looking, black (albeit spiky) hair, normal clothes, average weight and height. It's when he goes Super Saiyan or starts really unleashing his strength that he might stand out more, but otherwise he's pretty normal looking. Very average run of the mill humanoid. How he manages to hide his massive muscles under his shirt, the world may never know.

He has a super hero alter-ego, however, who stands out a good deal more, though...
Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Gohan lends himself to either or pretty well. If it were up to him, he'd stick to the slice of life, trying to lead his ordinary, peaceful life that has no trouble in it, and just using his superhero identity to satisfy his occasional action lust. But his life rarely goes the way he wants it, as trouble tends to follow him wherever he goes. He's a curious and intellectual sort, always willing to learn things about the world, so adventure isn't out of the question for him. He's secretly one of the most powerful people around, so hey, if you can somehow figure him out and get him to help you out on your crazy adventures, you've got a hell of an ally?
Current Activities/Developments: Well he's slowly recovering from the fallout of everything that happened regarding the Sosyne plot and how it turned his life upside while he was a crystal. He's involved in Bulma's farm project now, helping there where he can. He's also dealing with the aftershocks that Zamasu has on his cast just by existing.

Appearance: She's not terribly remarkable-looking, really. Does have a marking in red on the back of her right hand though.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: ALL THE THINGS I mean ICly Ritsuka is absolutely interested in learning about this world and exploring/investigating/generally trying to find out why everyone's here and what can be done to make things better. So roping her into adventures is quite easy. But of course the interlude chapters daily little things are always fun too, and even if she tried she can't be having adventures all the time anyway!
Current Activities/Developments: At the moment she's mostly just trying to understand the way this world works. Finding herself in a strange place wasn't actually that unsettling for her so she really hasn't needed to do too much adjusting in that sense at least. So, trying to learn her way around, get used to a routine that works for her, learn Dunamis, learn how to ride the wyverns, etc...
Future Developments: So first, Ritsuka absolutely needs to get involved with plot shenanigans of various kinds. She's spent the past year in canon going to various times and places specifically to fix them, so that attitude is definitely carrying over to this world. She wants to get to the bottom of things and find a way to set everything right!

In the longer term, I imagine she'll eventually either overextend herself with efforts to do something and/or hit a wall of seeming to fail to make any appreciable progress and be terribly frustrated, but that's something to deal with later when it comes. :)
Shipping/Romance: Ritsuka is far too preoccupied with the whole "saving the world" thing to really even think about it. Plus, having several rather... pushy Servants around Chaldea has gotten her into the habit of just automatically deflecting a lot of advances. HOWEVER, if someone takes a liking to her and wants to try to get through to her anyway, I absolutely encourage such an effort. It may or may not succeed, of course, but either way it ought to be quite entertaining!

Seeking: Pretty much everything~ Ritsuka will of course try to befriend just about anyone, so any kind of positive interactions is always great, but people who refuse to be swayed or are just outright antagonistic are great too. For that matter, manipulative/treacherous sorts are totally welcome, too--you can pretty much literally stab her in the back and she'll still care about you! Current Activities/Developments: I am trying to figure this out! May know where she can end up living, but I haven't finalized that. She's a healer and knew how to make medicines from plants in her world, but if that won't cut it she's content helping in lots of ways. Oh, and she'll need help not doing everything for free...

Future Developments: I'd like her to build relationships and have a nice life in general. She was never able to settle in her world due to racism against her, so having a regular place to go back to would be nice. But she's very accustomed to traveling and living on the road should that develop for some reason, and was forced to an unmoving isolated existence for literal ages as well so she won't be comfortable being too static or quiet.

I especially need to eventually have her deal with her depression from all the canon trauma she went through. Right now she's trying to focus on happy things so her emotions stop withering plants and stuff. Eventually this can't last, but with Elliot confronting things now, I may hold off with her until he's better just so I don't get drama burn out. So next month at the very earliest.

Appearance: Your typical rich-boy bishounen, basically. He stands at 5'8", mainly wears suits and generally debonair attire, and has distinct (yet natural) silvery blue anime hair + matching eyes.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both! He's fairly involved in excursions due to his insatiable wanderlust, and is smart enough to make some astute observations while on them while also being a decent travel companion. I'm not opposed to slice of life things, either - he's a good coffee date, and is fairly friendly and open to doing tasks with (capable) strangers. He's very familiar with the cave systems and mountain paths of the island, if you're interested in checking them out!
Current Activities/Developments: As of right now, just trying to get caught up on everything! He woke up from a month-long crystalization as of October 1st, and is very annoyed that he missed things. He needs to be brought up to speed! He'll have an open log up very shortly.
Future Developments: He's very concerned about the anti-Thras sentiments in Shaarnath due to his past status as his representative, so in terms of short-term plans, he'll be hanging around and making sure that things stay relatively peaceful. Otherwise, I don't have any specific plans or goals for him!

Brief Personality: A lawyer-in-training who has a tendency to worry about the worse of situations and gets flustered easily. Though he doesn't come off as anyone outstanding, his straightforward and innocent nature makes him easy to talk to. Once friends, as long as it's within his power, he'll be there to help and someone that can be depended on.
Appearance: He always wears an armband on his right arm, showing his profession as a defense attorney. Often times, he's wearing something like this that's more suited for Verens fashion, though occasionally he brings out the school uniform. As of December, he no longer carries Karma (the katana) having returned it to Asougi.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: A bit of both! SOL things come easy for Naruhodou, so I like to continue pushing him to try more adventurous things that's out of his comfort zone.
Current Activities/Developments: Trying to re-adjust being back in Empatheias after he recently came back from a canon update. He got a decent confidence boost from it. He's been learning how to use a sword and bow. Between the two, he prefers the bow if he has to actually fight. He's slowly making progress with his dunamis abilities that seem to come and go whenever he practices archery.
Future Developments: Eventually his dunamis will develop into something viable, probably from feelings of hope and bravery. Learn mounted archery on a chocobo. I would like him to eventually pick up a part time job at one of the restaurants in town, something for him to continue developing his cooking skills. He having his first sleepover?? Finally talk to the Arethei he's aligned to. He's very shy about doing that. There's some canon related stuff that needs to be ironed out, and he's going to try and push his agency a little more this time around.

Shipping/Romance: Currently dating Asougi Kazuma.

Brief Personality:
Serious military face is go.
Alice is a person who doesn't see herself as considerate when she really is, grew up on tales of heroes and aspires to be like them as well as the grandfather she saw as one of those heroes. She seeks to uphold what is right and just even if that means standing against those in far more powerful positions than herself. She has a strong sense of noblesse oblige and believes she must take no ones side to uphold the truth.

The last point she's been having some trouble with as time goes on and she acknowledges her feelings more. There's conflict between the part of her that wants to remain detached for her ideal of noblesse oblige and the other part of her that feels very deeply for those around her.

Appearance:

Alice is best known for her height and slim build. At five foot and fairly tiny, it's a bit of a point in canon how surprising it is that she can be so intimidating. One fellow military man who tangled with her in a fight is surprised to see her shortly after and talks about how she seemed much taller when they fought. Overall she keeps a very military sort of way of dress with neat button ups and slack. Sometimes she wears short sleeve shirts when working here though.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE:
A bit of both honestly. I am interested in getting Alice to relax a little on her heavily military-focused stance. She's been so wrapped up in learning combat and devoting herself to a military life that she's neglected to think about her feelings or anything else. It's to the point in canon where she feels guilt over the idea that she may actually be developing romantic feelings for someone because that means she's not focused exclusively on her work.
I want her to relax, I want her to learn what it is to have a life as well as still being active in combat and anything justice wise she gets into here. So far so good!

Current Activities/Developments:
I'd really like to find more friends that will help challenge Alice on a social level. She and Shiro have been dating for quite some time now. She's come to acknowledge her romantic and more physical feelings as of late as well. I'm always up for those who will take her under their wing and teach her more about normal life.

Future Developments:
I like to play these sort of things by ear but I definitely want her to continue growing. She came back from some pretty heavy going-ons at home (terrorists, confronting her own feelings, etc.) and is still trying to absorb what she's figured out about herself in conjunction with what she's experienced and learned here.

Shipping/Romance:
Alice is an absolute dullard when it comes to romance. In canon she's only started to feel the slight start of an affection for one of her Corporals and she's unsure if it's love or not. She's engaged but the engagement is chiefly for show. In short she came into Empatheias with her romantic knowledge based on what she had seen in others and what she had read in fairy tales and the like.

Here in Empatheias she and Shiro have been dating for over a year and she's connected the dots to understand she was feeling both heartbroken and angry all at once last month when she thought he had forgotten her. The range and depth of her emotions surprises even her most of the time.

Seeking: Friends, people to argue with, etc. A good deal of the people she has been friendly with have dropped over time so I want her to make more friends. People to school her on the finer points of emotions, people to spar with her, etc. At home she had two sisters, Sophice and Elise, who acted as both motherly advice givers and people to kick her butt into doing things. Here she has Allura but I would love to find other people as well.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: I'm here for both, but Archimedes has kind of leaned a little more towards slice of life with some baby steps being taken towards adventure last month. I'd definitely like to push him more in that direction and find some kind of balance because while he'd like to not deal with people, he should probably get out and do more of that.
Current Activities/Developments: Somehow Archimedes has ended up with a small group of people he tolerates! That's a big step for someone who wants to call things down from space to destroy the world and whatnot! He doesn't have too much currently going on besides that.
Future Developments: Probably expanding his circle of people he doesn't entirely loathe. I'd also like to have him start exploring Dunamis since he should probably do that instead of almost generating angry fires all the time.
Shipping/Romance: You'd probably have better luck dividing by zero. He doesn't really have feelings for people besides varying degrees of anger and loathing, so good luck with that.

Canon: Final Fantasy XIV (OC)
Brief Personality: Merisia is prickly, stubborn, and slow-to-trust; but well-meaning and generous beneath her grumpy exterior. She prefers to keep people at arm's length, though she can be won over with persistence and she's quite loyal and protective to those she likes. Merisia strongly values her freedom and enjoys treasure hunting, studying magic, and the occasional bout of mischief/pranking. She's also prone to occasional nerdy rambling and has a massive sweet tooth. She's also terrified of heights, and has learned how to swim, finally! She's not very good at it, though.
Appearance: She's a six-foot-tall lavender elf with a white tattoo over one eye, blonde hair (tipped in light brown) and red eyes. She can typically seen in her acolyte's robes, although on warmer days she changes into something more casual. Currently, she has a set of bandages wrapped around her upper left arm - concealing a webbed, lightning-esque scar - that can be seen when she sheds her outer robes or when just wearing something with shorter sleeves. She can often be seen with her familiar, Carbuncle. He comes in a few colors, but usually she has out his Emerald form. He also comes in a hardier Topaz form, which has gold fur, and a dunamis variant Ruby form, which is smaller than the other two forms but much fluffier, and has red fur. She's also recently acquired a newer form of Carbuncle, Sardonyx, who is sleeker and has shorter fur than the others.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both are great! But I mostly lean towards adventure and anything with the potential for character development. Merisia is an adventurer so she's always eager to go exploring or treasure hunting. However, she doesn't mind taking breaks from the chaos; being an adventurer is also a dangerous and unstable line of work so she values quieter points in life as well.

Current Activities/Developments: Merisia has been perfecting her dunamis, and with Rose returning she's also getting back to her (secret) dagger training. Also, having finally come to terms with the Echo, Merisia is trying to learn more about it in hopes of finding a way to control or actively use it. She has also managed to form a new Carbuncle with Kor's help: Sardonyx, a lightning-elemental Carbuncle.

Future Developments: Working on furthering her current CR and possibly grabbing some new CR, as well as studying more forms of magic! She'll also be attempting to learn more about the Echo and will continue dunamis training. I'm also hoping to get her into some good old-fashioned adventuring escapades at some point; as great as her more serious plots have been, she's overdue for some fun (and a taste of home). Most importantly, however, it's time for Halloween All Saint's Wake, which is Merisia's favorite holiday! Thus this'll probably be the only time she'll be openly in a cheerful or playful mood. Other than that, my plans are pretty open!

Shipping/Romance: I wouldn't mind Merisia getting involved in a romance! She can be pretty slow/tough to win over, though, so good luck with that.

Seeking: I'm always up for Merisia making some new friends, be they shiny friendly types to balance out her grumpiness (somehow she's a magnet for those) or fellow magic users to be a giant nerd with discuss magic with. However, I'm also up for her getting a few rivals and maybe an enemy or two. I'm always up for any new CR with Meri.
Offering: Merisia is prickly, grumpy, and can be slow to trust others. However, once she grows to like someone, she is quite loyal and more open. If you get close to her, she basically ends up being the grumpy, protective big sister. She's a talented arcanist, with experience in other schools of Eorzean magic (which she can no longer use, sadly) and a skilled seamstress. She also has some skill in wielding dual daggers and tends to skulk about at night looking for anyone who needs a bit of stealthy vigilante help.
Not Interested In/Avoiding: While I'm totally up for using Merisia's Echo ability, I don't want to have the Echo happen for the sake of happening. Generally, I prefer to restrict its use to something that can help develop CR, aid with a task, or something else like that. Other than that, I'd like to avoid anything explicit.

Since we have been wanting these two to become friends and Terra is curious to learn more about Merisia with their having so many friends in common, maybe we can have them paired up together for a task/coincidentally going after the same job? Adventure and bonding all in one! The test of courage in the cave both pays well and has a lot of bonding potential if you're interested, but I am open for anything if there's somewhere else Merisia would rather be!
