Welcome to Empatheias' plotting and CR meme! Please fill out the form below with all of the necessary information. Then go forth and reply to others, plot, make friends, have shenanigans!

The Plot and CR meme will be posted on the first of each month, and will be posted once the intro posts have been posted, and again during the mid-month announcement. We highly encourage everyone to check the post from time to time, even if a week has passed. You never know what kind of opportunities you could be missing!

Brief Personality: Fun and easygoing guy who wants to be taken seriously. Losing someone recently has him struggling between optimism and realism. At the end of the day though, he's there for all his friends and will always put their feelings ahead of his own.
Appearance: 6'1 tall, almost always in armor and with his weapon. Boom!

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both aspects work smoothly in Jaune's life, so I'm down for either!
Current Activities/Developments: Jaune got married to his best friend, who is actually no longer alive back in their world. The character was dropped, though, which means she's back to being dead and he's now a widower. Mourning her a second time is making Jaune go through some changes, so it's going to be a while until he's a fun goofball again. :') Once he gets out of his slump, he's going to be involved with the Beastmaster Hunting Guild more than ever.
Shipping/Romance: Because of recent developments, shipping would be a little hard. Jaune will always be in love with a dead girl, so any potential love interest would need to be mature enough to accept that. Having said that, I'd like to explore this way later down the line! Caring about someone who's still alive would help him move forward.

Seeking: Jaune being a big bro to everyone. Seasoned fighters teaching Jaune new things. Funny and ridiculous stuff, because that always comes naturally with Jaune, but I'd also love more CR that takes him seriously. He's got insight and wisdom. Maybe some negative CR? Something along the lines of butting heads with somebody but still secretly being their friend.
Offering: Guy who helps out/offers perspective to should anybody need it for their development, whatever it may be! He's incredibly supportive and will make time for any problems. Also potential HEALS!! Lastly, if anybody needs task board partners, he's around for that, too.

Brief Personality: Punny and occasionally too serious anti-bioterrorism expert. She's the sort of person to hide her true feelings and come off as much more open and friendly on the surface than she genuinely is.
Appearance: Basically the thick thighs save lives meme tbh. She's described canonically as "compact and muscular," (just under 5'5") with a focus on legs, thighs, and glutes.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both! She's the kind of person that gets antsy when staying too still.
Current Activities/Developments: Jill's still taken a pretty big hit from Ash leaving and now one of her besties being out of commission and dealing with Leon having been crystallized.
Future Developments: She was going to slow-burn romance with Ash, but he's gone. :( Otherwise there's her task board comment and she'll soon be canon updated.
Shipping/Romance: 32ish+ swole soldiery dudes are fine to ship tease and flirt with, but actual shipping isn't too likely. If you're potentially interested, she's not impossible, but it would take a lot of planning and trusting someone over time.

Seeking: Someone who will tag team monsters with her or go long-term exploring with (by which I mean someone that will pack up and spend an IC week traveling with her). I love writing mentoring and Jill is pretty well-suited to it (weapons, hunting, arm wrasslin', you name it). She could also use a sparring/training buddy and on-call adventure pals.

She also expects to get all the milkshakes this month. With cards and her name doodled with hearts all around it on notebooks and so forth. You know the drill for your waifu, okay.
Offering: Jill's great to just chill and have some BBQ with and makes a good Weird Aunt-type. She's weight training and exercising daily and is a great sparring partner.

Appearance: A photo. She's short (look at those heels...), has exceptionally long hair, and has a scar over her left eye. From September to November, her right arm will be broken so she'll be in a cast + sling! Please sign her cast

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: At the moment, she is tuckered out from adventure. She isn't equipped for adventure at the moment, anyway... so for Weiss, it's slice of life. :|b

Current Activities/Developments: Weiss participated in the recent player plot and fought Velvet. She was injured and broke her arm, hence the injury that will last until November. Aside from that, she purchased a house in Theasthai!

Future Developments: Not much future plans for Weiss now, really. I'm waiting to see what Volume 6 of RWBY might bring to help me in figuring out where I want to take her next. Weiss actually has a pretty decent life here in Verens and she's doing rather well. Any plans for her will depend on events in-game or canon developments.

Shipping/Romance: Weiss is single, but is currently not looking for anybody. She'll probably be interested in dating again eventually but at the moment, she's a bit too focused on work. Watch her totally fall head over heels when someone does something cool, though. :|;;;

Seeking: Right now, just about anything! I would honestly love more girl friends for Weiss since she needs more of those or maybe someone she can end up mentoring/big sister-ing, but I'm definitely open to anybody who wants CR with her.

Offering: A Dunamis teacher, a tsundere person who can't decide whether or not she's hot or cold, a possible employer, or CR with someone who's by-the-book! Weiss can also be somebody's negative CR since she's not exactly the friendliest and most receptive person.

Anything Else: Weiss runs a newspaper in Verens, but truth be told, it's a bit of a challenge to get participants to write articles OOCly, so everything is just handwaved. :|b

Zamasu | Dragon Ball Super

Brief Personality: Antisocial villain with a superiority complex. Talks a lot about how mortals commit sins, justice, and knows at least 23242342 reasons why he is better than a mortal. Likes nature and tea, does not like/trust mortals. Easy to piss off but at times he's willing to get into debates. He's a bit of a shithead and doesn't make friends easily.
Appearance: He's a green dude with a mohawk.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both. Even though he needs some serious incentive before he will participate in any adventure. He can definitely be of help (he's quite powerful and very methodical) but yeah, the question will always be: 'Are there mortals involved?'.
Current Activities/Developments: Zamasu has been trying to adapt but, alas, he expects everyone to adapt to him instead. This kind of resulted in some unforeseen situations where Rose Quartz cried on his face and had beef with many others. Trunks kicked his ass. There have been some memory sharing about his future and he has a lot of doubts about it. So he's super moody.
Future Developments: My idea is actually to get him to become a slightly better person who is able to let go on his strong distrust of mortals. Maybe get him friends or realize something important about mortals. Get him to know things like literature and music. At this point he is extremely torn between what he truly wants (punish mortals, end their lives) and what he feels (angry, unsure, in doubt).
Shipping/Romance: It's not that I'm not interested but he's not the shippable type and he doesn't get romance.

Seeking: I would love all sorts of CR. Maybe positive CR the most because that will not happen all of a sudden. But if you have a character that is up for that and has a lot of patience. Let me know! I'm extremely flexible.
Offering: Negative CR for sure. Most contact with him starts out negative.

I'd definitely like to throw Archimedes at him again. He didn't entirely hate talking to Zamasu and while being referred to as mortal kind of got on his nerves, he got to ramble and be a giant loser, so he wouldn't mind getting the chance to do that again.

Brief Personality: Stoic and reserved soldier who's somewhat more compassionate and emotional, despite seemingly acting cold and emotionless otherwise. He's an idealist who strives for peace and equality for all sentient being. Might take a little while for him to warm up and care about someone individually, but once you do, you'll get a loyal and caring friend (but still very not talkative). Also, he's a very lonely person.
Appearance: He's a Cybertronian. He stands at 7'5, can transforms into an armored car, and he's blue. He has another form he occasionally uses for outing purposes- his human avatar form. His avatar is much smaller than SW himself, standing at 5', and usually wears punk-ish clothes. Also, blue. He may introduce himself as either Sonia or Soundwave, depends on the circumstances and if the other person realizes "she" is not "real".

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: As always, both! SoL for CR-building purposes, and ic-ly Soundwave prefers adventures more.

Current Activities/Developments: So, Soundwave is going to be sulking this month! For a completely different reason. He had confessed to Penny about his feelings for her on Helisium, and her answer was... she has to think about it! He's a bit upset by that, though, he completely understands why. He's going to be lurking around and try to ignore 99% of Veren's natives while dealing with his own personal issues.

Future Developments: Not much planning, except strengthening current CRs and attempts to get him closer to people.

Shipping/Romance: He has his spark taken by someone else and is very attached to her. If your character's the type to have crushes and/or love hitting on robotkind, I still welcome those (this apply to his human avatar, too), so long as you know nothing will come out of it.

Seeking: Fellow robotkind/artificial being! Non-human! People from war-torn world! Negative CR is possible with him, too! He's... not the most friendliest of person.
Offering: TsundereIce king and somewhat of a jerkass but a decent sort once you melt the refrigerator down. A good listener and a loyal friend, too. A veteran soldier, who fought against discrimination in his world (which then extend to 4 million years of civil war and conquering planets), so other soldiers are welcome to try to approach him. Other idealists who strive for equality and peace. Can also act like a big bro or a dad to someone- given that he cares enough about them.

Brief hehe Personality: Trunks has gone from cute little brat with a devil may care attitude to cute dork who often plays the adult now and is the young president of Capsule Corporation. Looooves technology and will happily rip apart anything new and shiny to learn about it, easily flustered and embarrassed if you tease him too much but can tease you right back if you're not careful (he has a little sister so he knows how to do it well), will defend and protect those who need it, often takes the logical approach to situations/takes his time to reach a decision rather than jump right in as he often did as a kid which also extends to him being able to make difficult decisions sometimes. Also has a lot of patience what with having to play the adult and reel both Pan and child Goku in even if he was tempted to lose his mind around them at times.

Appearance: Lavender hair, pretty blue eyes, muscular build, taller than his dad but who isn't??, dresses pretty casual when not done up in a suit and tie as Capsule Corp's president. The best way to tell him and his future self apart aside from this one being way more chill is probably going to be with their scarves: future Trunks wears a red scarf while this Trunks wears a blue scarf hence their nicknames of red and blue now.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: A mix of both works for him since he can easily do either.

Current Activities/Developments: Trunks is coming back from a canon update on the 3rd where he's gone from 8 to 25 in the span of about 4-5 days. He's coming in badly injured, going to be found by Gohan, and rest up a little while he adjusts to everything again and remembers his time here as a kid. He's going to be having a closed log posted on the 3rd for his return to reconnect with cast and some close CR.

Future Developments: Once he's settled in and has reconnected with cast and close CR, he's going to try and search out Thras (because he's missed him!!) and be teaching a certain daemon both martial arts and hand-to-hand combat since Trunks has been trained by the best: his dad. Other than that, not much at the moment. But if you've come across him as a kid, even briefly, and are interested in further connection with him as an adult, I'm totally open to that!

Shipping/Romance: He has no romantic ties back home so I'm open to things happening. /o/

Seeking: Pretty much anything really. Trunks isn't too picky with who he associates with but some he'll take a certain fondness to quicker than others based on chemistry.

Offering: A dork who loves and gets excited over all sorts of technology, half-saiyan (kind of a prince??), knows how to have fun but also knows when to be serious, still a Knight of Thras, will also protect/save you if you need help, can repair a lot of different types of mechanical pieces or guesstimate how to best go about doing so.

Not Interested In/Avoiding: Can't really think of anything right now.

Brief Personality: Kind, awkward, and kind of a mom on and off, this 21 is the good half of a whole. Also pretty oblivious on and off, though also surprisingly detail-oriented and observant. Also also a total glutton and sweets lover. Currently quite content to play sadviolin.mp3 in her head for hours while thinking about how terrible she is, though she'll get past that one day! Maybe.

Appearance: Normally, she'll stick to her usual mode of dress or something similar. Earrings, business casual dresses, leggings, and ankle boots. Her true form is much different and stands out quite a bit more (as one with bubblegum pink skin and a long tail would), though she's trying to avoid using it at the moment. Especially due to the current tensions in Verens. She can still be caught in this form when training or fighting something, though!

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: A healthy mix of both, with a stronger lean toward slice of life at the moment! She can fight, and she can be incredibly powerful in a fight, but she doesn't like to - nor is she as competent at fighting as she'd like. She's a researcher first and foremost, so despite her power she'd rather stick closer to a lab or experience new food things unless she feels she's needed elsewhere.

Current Activities/Developments: Without a job or steady income, the lower payouts on the taskboard, and her general obliviousness of actually having to provide for herself, 21 is currently living on the streets (but won't be for long!). To top it off, she's getting booted out of food establishments that normally accept her huge food orders. Because she normally has a huge appetite (gotta love having both saiyan and Buu cells), she's going to start getting cranky with people - snapping at them over nothing, maybe even slapping someone across the face if they set her off even the slightest bit while she's hangry. Characters considered to be strong fighters where they're from (or even just strong in Verens) will get a weird look for a few long seconds before she suddenly snaps out of it and looks away.

Future Developments: Eventually, she'll be looking into medical research. Her body is capable of healing at incredibly fast rates (even though it's watered down in Empatheias) and it was a goal of hers to find a way for that to be helpful to the general population. I do plan on having her one day start to lose control, but whether I have her go all the way or just get exceedingly snappish is still way up in the air. She was offered the option of using calming teas or emotion-infused foods to keep herself under controlled and will be pursuing that option once she has a steady means of funding that research.

Shipping/Romance: Her whole "looks and is mentally an adult but isn't even 10 years old yet" deal aside, she'd be very, very resistant to it while her "hunger problem" is still in play. I'm still up for those who might be willing to try, though!

Seeking: Fellow researchers, other androids/artificial beings, other sweets lovers, characters who will slap her hands with a ruler when she gets super down on herself, etc.

Offering: A sweet and oblivious mom-ish type researcher who will be eager to help and protect you within reason, but will also probably eat all your food (and send you apology brie).

Not Interested In/Avoiding: Avoiding manipulative types for the time being, especially for when she starts getting snappy as she'd be extremely easy to manipulate into doing some Can't Go Back From That Shit Without Dying First stuff when she's like that and I'm not up for her getting offed so soon.

Brief Personality:

A really good detective who doesn't think he's worthy to be called a detective so he just goes around solving things and then putting himself down. A guy who looks pretty unreliable, weak, and a pushover but is honestly really competent when it comes to situations where Critical Thinking is required and all that fun stuff. Also, he's always wearing a hat?? And will get upset if someone talks shit about it?? What's up with that??

Appearance:

He's only taking off this hat when he dies. Or I guess if someone takes it from him. You know, whichever one that happens first.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE:

Honestly, Shuichi is way too weak to partake in ADVENTURES so he's more suited for slice of life things! However, I do want to venture outside of that in the near future so I would love to put him out on an adventure soon! People will just need to deal with him getting worn out partway into exploration.

Current Activities/Developments:

He just joined the game last month so he's still settling down! He will be moving in with Ishimaru and probably Suffer A Lot during it but asides from that, nothing is really happening with him! I do want him to start finding a stable job in the near future though!

Future Developments:

My long-term plan is for Shuichi to become more confident in himself! I really want him to get to a point where he stops doubting himself and actually becomes someone who doesn't need his hat anymore (the real reason why he has it on all the time is because he's afraid of looking people in the eye and so he can shy away). I also want him to become far more comfortable by embracing his title as the Ultimate Detective and doing some mystery solving, even if it's something as simple as finding someone's lost cat or anything like that. As a result, I would love for him to open up a little casual detective agency or join one! Of course, this won't be possible for him right now and definitely not with some pushing from others but that is a goal I would like him to have. I currently have tentative plans about him and Minato setting up something (though he might need to kick out Minato after a month because Minato accepted nothing but just food for payment and WHY THIS).

For short-term development, I'd like him to just get more involved with others and make some friends! I would like him to hang around people that he can get comfortable with and rely on. He also needs to stop being a weak piece of stick and find some people he can exercise with. Someone needs to chase after him with a megaphone and tell him to keep running or else he's going to get stabbed with a stick or something. He needs that kind of motivation.

Shipping/Romance:

Currently, there are plans for Shuichi to get romantically involved with Kaede! Sorry, Kaede, that you gotta deal with him.

Seeking:

At the moment, I am just looking for positive CR for Shuichi! I will look for some negative CR in the future but for now, I need him to have a set of friends that he can trust and act natural around. I would love for people who can push him to become better and support him because the poor kid can't really do that right now. Also any detective-like characters for him to hang around! So he can put himself down and then be smacked across the face.

Offering:

Do you need someone to push around? Do you want a partner/assistant to do your dirty work? Then look no further. This is the man for you. Shuichi is honestly and generally a nice guy who puts up with a lot so he can generally be anyone's pal. He will accept your random texts at 3 in the morning to solve your puzzles and probably drive you to McDonald's if you pester him long enough. Also he can find your lost keys?? Why ever put in the effort of looking for anything again when you can just get him to do it??

Not Interested In/Avoiding:

Any negative CR for now! I'd like to set up Shuichi a little bit before I get into that, though I would still love to discuss any future plans!

I am logged in the wrong journal but I would like for Weiss to have CR with Shuichi sometime!! 0: If he needs a push or someone to help build his self esteem then Weiss is a good person for that! She might not be nice to him at first, depending on how they end up meeting, but she's actually good in helping build confidence in someone even if she's kinda cold!

Alice Malvin | Pumpkin Scissors

Brief Personality:
Serious military face is go.
Alice is a person who doesn't see herself as considerate when she really is, grew up on tales of heroes and aspires to be like them as well as the grandfather she saw as one of those heroes. She seeks to uphold what is right and just even if that means standing against those in far more powerful positions than herself. She has a strong sense of noblesse oblige and believes she must take no ones side to uphold the truth.

The last point she's been having some trouble with as time goes on and she acknowledges her feelings more. There's conflict between the part of her that wants to remain detached for her ideal of noblesse oblige and the other part of her that feels very deeply for those around her.

Appearance:
Full length picture.
Alice is best known for her height and slim build. At five foot and fairly tiny, it's a bit of a point in canon how surprising it is that she can be so intimidating. One fellow military man who tangled with her in a fight is surprised to see her shortly after and talks about how she seemed much taller when they fought. Overall she keeps a very military sort of way of dress with neat button ups and slack. Sometimes she wears short sleeve shirts when working here though.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE:
A bit of both honestly. I am interested in getting Alice to relax a little on her heavily military-focused stance. She's been so wrapped up in learning combat and devoting herself to a military life that she's neglected to think about her feelings or anything else. It's to the point in canon where she feels guilt over the idea that she may actually be developing romantic feelings for someone because that means she's not focused exclusively on her work.
I want her to relax, I want her to learn what it is to have a life as well as still being active in combat and anything justice wise she gets into here. So far so good!

Current Activities/Developments:
The past month Alice went home for a canon update that basically yanked her forward eight volumes and forty chapters. She dealt with a lot and she's still brooding some on the situation at home. Given what happened with the Arehtei, she's going to be thinking a lot on how to best protect them, if they as Otherworlders can even do so.

Future Developments:
I'm playing this by ear mostly for now. I have no firm plans about where I want her to go in-game wise.

Shipping/Romance:
Alice is an absolute dullard when it comes to romance. In canon she's only started to feel the slight start of an affection for one of her Corporals and she's unsure if it's love or not. She's engaged but the engagement is chiefly for show.

At present she and Shiro are dating and made some strides there before he became a spooky Force ghost. After going home and seeing some of the things she saw, she'll be more thoughtful on what her relationships here mean to her and what she wants from them.

I'm still looking for people to help educate her on healthy relationships.

Current Activities/Developments: Right now, he's attempting to figure out how to... deal with the natives hating Otherworlders. He doesn't blame them for being mad of course - someone deciding to attack an Arehtei was just bad. There's gonna be a lot of work put into trying to rebuild relations with them... and fixing things he probably destroyed like whoops. Woe is being Chat Noir sometimes; not to mention, some negative emotions might ooze off him while he's Chat Noir on patrol this month. Whoops...
Future Developments: Getting tired, using too much Dumanis... also, there is going to be some other developments, but no determination when that'll start. All that needs to be known is... it involves a blue scarf.
Shipping/Romance: Well, he's giving dating Marinette a try. It's been going pretty well... save for keeping Chat Noir out of it. B-But he has to visit her as both...!

Seeking: Any. He's probably not going to visit anyone in jail tho, but if someone wants to explain to him why attacking Sosyne might've been a good idea, go for it.

Current Activities/Developments: Currently dealing with the ongoing Zamasu drama, which will result in an exchange of memories and ironic easing of certain fears regarding his presence in the city, as well as familiarizing herself with previously unknown cast mates. Current Activities/Developments: Living by the lake, is employed by Snow White, and is working on repairing a Brinndosi sentry that he is secretly planning to eventually turn into something else that he can use to capture an Arehtei (this is extremely long term). Currently trying to find work and people he can sell some old artifacts to.

The Memory Tree just outed him as a member of Team Rocket so he is on edge about that.
Future Developments: As mentioned above, his long term project is studying the Brinndosi mech and trying to build a mech of his own so he can use it to capture an Arehtei for Team Rocket since he's convinced they're legendary Pokémon. This is VERY long term. He is going to try to look into Dunamis.
Shipping/Romance: I am not seeking shipping but am open to anything that happens organically. James has some complicated, unexamined feelings for his teammate back home, though, and is generally a bit of a mess when it comes to relationships due to past trauma. It's unlikely he'll end up shipping material, but people are welcome to have their characters crush on him.

Brief Personality: A kind, gentle, supportive, leaderly sort. The fandom calls him Space Dad for a reason and honestly that about covers it. He's harsh when he's mad, and cheerfully rude to his friends, but achieving either of those takes some doing, and for most people that he's meeting for the first, second, third time, they'll just get a calm, polite, generally pleasant kind of dude.
Appearance: HOO BOY, OKAY. So, first thing of note is Shiro has the Black Lion with him. It's been shrunk down to a normal lion's size, roughly speaking (so still pretty damn big, tbh), but it's still a big ol' mostly black robot lion with red wings. This is the first thing of note because actually chances are pretty good that if somebody sees Shiro about town, the Black Lion is all they will see? Shiro got a canon update last month and at his current canon point he is kind of. Stuck inside the Black Lion's consciousness without an actual physical body of his own, which as you can imagine makes things PRETTY COMPLICATED for him. In Emp, he gets to show up outside the Black Lion, but it takes some concentration on his part to do that, so unless he's actively doing a thing or talking to someone, he won't bother.

So, when Shiro actually does bother, he is a tall, beefy dude, and by now he's figured out that he has enough control over his appearance that he'll show up wearing pretty typical Verens fashion, with a clear preference for painted-on shirts with vests over them. And always in shades of black/grey, because that's just how he do. His hair is mostly black in an undercut, but he's got a big patch of white right up front, and a long scar across his nose and cheeks. His right arm is an obvious prosthetic. And actually the most obvious thing about his appearance right now is because of the aforementioned situation with being stuck in the Black Lion, he glows purple. He's opaque and solid, he's just. Also glowing. It's spooky. He's a spook.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: I lean a little more towards slice of life, but either is fine, really. What I'm really after is anything that'll give me a chance for thoughtful conversations and nice, solid CR-building, more than Shit Happens or Making Small Talk.
Current Activities/Developments: Mostly he is adjusting to his current situation with the Black Lion, trying to settle on a new normal and such. He's doing a bunch of tasks off the task board as he usually does, anything to keep himself busy. He often helps out with Enforcers business even though he's not officially a member because his Official BFF asks him to, and he doesn't teach at the Crescent School, but he hangs out there a lot, doing miscellaneous busywork and odd jobs and the like, because his girlfriend runs it.
Future Developments: I don't have anything super specific or drastic planned for Shiro in September, but in October, he's getting another canon update and will cease to be spooky and also cease to have a right arm, prosthetic or otherwise, so if the spooky thing is interesting to you, you've only got a limited amount of time to take advantage of it, and if you've got somebody who could eventually help out with a replacement prosthetic maybe, we can talk about that???
Shipping/Romance: Shiro's been dating Alice Malvin for well over a year at this point, much to his continued surprise??? So he's not available for this.

Still can be seen working for Scrooge McDuck at the Gold Pan/when called otherwise. Still living out on the edge of the city closer to the farmlands.

Current Activities/Developments: Honestly right now he's just kind of judging the hell out of everything with the Sosyne plot because why would you even? He's new and doesn't really have any attachment to the Arehtei, but come on, he heard they sometimes flip out and attack everyone. Don't take away his dreams of that happening by trying to get rid of them!
Future Developments: I don't have too much planned, he'll have an open post this month which'll probably boil down to staring disapprovingly at everything. I'd like to have him begrudgingly move in a more positive direction over time, or as far as he can actually go in that direction, since a lot of his issues are tied up with canon, but that's a vague long term goal.
Shipping/Romance: Archimedes is a perpetual angry math disaster that wants humanity gone. He's probably not the best choice for romance.

Under the surface, there's a powerful sense of self doubt that's only grown as a result of recent events.
Appearance: Her long blue hair and elf-like ears are the things most people would notice first, as her wings are retractable and rarely used. She always has her sword and magic wand(which looks like a small tree branch) at her side, no matter what else she might be wearing.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Open to both, but given what she's been through over the past few months slice of life would certainly be appreciated this month as a change of pace!

Current Activities/Developments: Fighting against one of her friends during the defense of Sosyne, and failing to stop him, has only served to make Asuna question herself and her place in Verens that much more. She's had enough conversations to also start wondering if she has more to offer than just her blade and magic, and the idea of creating something that will bring people together has been on her mind a lot lately.

Future Developments: Toward the beginning of the month, Asuna will be going back home for a canon update that will see her questioning herself that much more, and interesting in holding onto friendships tightly(for those familiar with her canon, she'll be returning shortly after Yuuki signs out and she'd unable to contact her, and her mother has threatened to take away the AmuSphere). Combined with the mistrust of Otherworlders and problems following the attempt on Sosyne, she's going to start testing recipes and saving money to start some kind of hospitality business... though she might not admit that goal to anyone!

Appearance: Akira’s fashion is pretty understated, lots of dark colours. But he’s quite tall (six foot two), with curly black hair and thick glasses. Here’s a visual aid, and another with glasses.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Akira comes from a canon where there’s a whole lot of both. He just got here, so he is very interested in exploring the world more. He’s not the type to sit around and twiddle his thumbs when Big Things are happening, but for the time being he’s going to stay in Verens and get used to the new environment, so if you want to do any sort of slice-of-life shit I’m absolutely here for that too.
Current Activities/Developments: Well, he kinda got involved with the whole Sosyne incident despite knowing… almost nothing about what was going on. Literally, he felt his amulet going off and heard Sosyne screaming in his head, talked to a few people about it, and set off. Was that his best life decision? No! But he did it anyway. So he’s still kind of recovering from that (physically and mentally), plus navigating the resulting fallout among his small social group. And I mean very small. There are like two people he can genuinely say he cares about right now, not counting the castmate he hasn’t met yet because of crystalization.
Future Developments: He’s still new, so I don’t know what I’m doing with him yet. Currently he’s taking on board jobs to pay bills, but that’s not sustainable forever, so I’d like to find him a real job. Other than that I’d just like to get him to meet more people, make more connections, all that shit. —I also want to put him in that Oratory Contest in Theasthai, because that sounds like exactly the sort of thing he would love.
Shipping/Romance: He’s a bit too new to pursue serious shipping, but Akira is actually laughably inexperienced when it comes to romance. If you try to flirt with him and you happen to be a hot guy, it’s incredibly easy to watch all of his bullshit acting internally crumple as he attempts to keep up normal conversation.

Seeking: People he can reliably team up for missions for would be awesome. He has a kneejerk reaction to be anti-authority and bites back if he senses that anyone is looking down on him, so I imagine that could be lots of fun with certain character types. Other than that though, he could really use more positive CR. I would say ‘dunamis’, but I have to be completely honest, Akira is not the greatest at coping with his emotions in healthy ways, so we could do something with that as well.
Offering: He will not be the best friend of everyone ever, but he offers lots in the way of both positive and negative relationship opportunities, depending on the other person and — to be honest — their first impressions of each other. He tends to shove his nose in where it doesn't belong. Also, he cooks well and loves food. If he cares about a person enough, he tends to nominate himself as an aggressive caretaker for them, regardless of whether they asked for it or not. He’s not great at sorting through and helping people with emotions, but he tries to do it anyway, like a dumbass.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: I'm always down for both because Nora works well in either setting. At this point she doesn't mind distracting herself with adventure but at the same time I also want her to chill out with some SOL shenanigans.
Current Activities/Developments: Last month, Nora had to go through the departure of Ren and Pyrrha - for the second time, so she's still recovering from the emotional shock she went through. She will be trying to distract herself with work and tasks and doing her best to move forward, but her usual cheer will be subdued for a while. Oh yeah, she has a pet wyvern named Apple.
Future Developments: At this point, Nora's optimism and joy are being tested. It will take a while for her to be back to full Nora mode but if anything else happens that dampens her mood, she may begin to develop a more world-weary edge to her personality and this might pave the way for her to become more serious and mature (yikes). I'm going to see where this new development takes me, and see what V6 has in store for her WHERE IS MY PRE-KUROYURI NORA BACKSTORY, ROOSTER TEETH!!!
Shipping/Romance: Nora's boyfriend was her longtime close friend, and for a long time, only friend and family. It will be very hard for her to fall in love with anyone else, but I'm game for people who crush on her and who will try to flirt with her anyway. So yeah, ships will most likely not happen with her but characters are willing to try.

Brief Personality: Socially awkward super nerd that cares way too much about rules. He yells a lot and has a hard time understanding the atmosphere at times, but he's getting better. Nonetheless, he has a really good heart and does his best, because effort is everything!! He likes making friends because he didn't have a lot growing up.
Appearance: Japanese teenager with huge eyebrows and red eyes. He normally wears his school uniform still, although i'm thinking of changing that soon so that he has a different wardrobe of sorts.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: He's mainly slice of life because he's not great at adventure, but I'm willing to toss him at adventure things still.
Current Activities/Developments: Just this past month, he's now training with Rey from Star Wars to use a staff because he doesn't like stabbing things or shooting things. Otherwise, he's sad that Makoto is gone, but he's going to live with Shuichi Saihara very soon!
Future Developments: He's still balancing hope and despair and he can slide either way depending on the day, but otherwise, I plan on Ishimaru to continue training with Rey and maybe help with rebuilding trust in the Otherworlders.
Shipping/Romance: If something happens, that's cool! But I'm not looking deeply either.

Canon: Spiral: The Bonds of Reasoning
Brief Personality: Formerly the closest thing his world has to the Devil, he was cursed to live with the fate of either having his very will changed to that of a genocidal demon or else die of illness first. He's broken that curse however, and while that life still influences the way he looks at things, he's doing much, much better now. On the surface, he can come across as cheerful and friendly and even a bit obnoxious, but his heart is generally in the right place. Now that he's been freed of his fate, he's trying a little harder to actively help people, and knows of a way to use dunamis to cure both physical and magical ailments. Very intelligent, very clever, and will lie up a storm about his history because he is related to far too many murderkids.
Appearance: Closer to this now that he's nineteen, but far more punk. He wears a lot of necklaces and rings, and has since pierced his ears. Also generally lacks the holier-than-thou look.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both! He'll be going out on excursions as they occur, but he also has partial ownership over the Feline Nice Ice Cream Parlor where he can frequently be found working.
Current Activities/Developments: From the 28th to about the 3rd or so, the café will be closed because Hizumi is taking care of Ayumu while the latter recovers from dying during the player plot! After that however, he'll be participating in whatever results from this fundraising plan along with Ayumu! His most recent post regarding Ayumu's death and how that affects Otherworlders is here if people still want to ICly react to that info.
Future Developments: He's going to be pretty pissed about relationships with locals taking a dive on top of his super secret boyfriend dying because of it, but as mentioned above, he'll be trying to channel that energy towards positive goals like reunifying everyone. Ironically, this might even give him more to learn to be hopeful about, which means it's a good chance for him to work on his wings made of light even more.
Shipping/Romance: Currently happily (if TOTALLY!! SECRETLY!!!) dating Ayumu!

Seeking: Anything, positive or negative! Hizumi's a very charming and charismatic type and generally comes across as cheerful and harmless, so he gets along with most people, but if he hits the wrong buttons for someone I don't mind conflict either! Also, people who might dig into his Issues™ though he tends to get unfriendly about that even if he sorely needs to open up more.
Offering: A proactive character who can drag others into shenanigans if you're having trouble coming up with a reason for them to do something; it doesn't matter if they're a stranger, he'll do it anyway.

Brief Personality: A sentimental and goofy teenchild who often acts as a pollyana, though he still has his shares of insecurities and angst. But mostly he wants to try to be a hero and everyone's friend!
Appearance: This is what he looks like and how he most commonly dresses. He looks like a child despite actually being a teenager. And the most distinctive thing about his appearance is a rose quartz gem that he has in place of his belly button.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both! Steven enjoys hanging around and engaging in slice-of-life shenanigans, but he still wants to answer calls to adventure and to do what he can to help others!
Current Activities/Developments: He was on the sidelines offering healing and shielding during the Sosyne battle. Now he's getting back to his normal life and probably trying to help in the efforts to reach out to the natives, while still getting used to his mom being around.
Future Developments: I'm mostly going with the flow with him, without any big plans beyond generally having him work on his struggles with moral complexity and dealing with lingering issues/trauma from canon.
Shipping/Romance: I'm not interested in cross-canon shipping with him, but I am open to other characters having age appropriate unrequited puppy crushes on him. Steven's mostly focused on building friendships in Empatheias.

Seeking: I'm open to most kinds of CR! Other kids/teens, fellow cinnamon rolls, grumpy/antisocial friends whom he can try to win over. He's also been looking for more people to play music with!

Brief Personality: Disney Princess. No really. Daughter of the Evil Queen (yep magic mirror on the wall fame), Evie's ridiculous pretty. Also vain. Raised to be obsessed with her looks and marry a prince, she's clever and kind and industrious. With a tiny little wicked streak, but otherwise, she's got a heart of gold. Friendly and flirty, she's known for a laugh so beautiful that villains clamor to hear it again and again.
Appearance: She is the 'fairest' of her canon. Evie's got dark blue hair, striking cheekbones, rosy lips. Her signature color is royal blue, wears it all the time, highlighted with red. Also some version of a tiara at all times. She's fashion obsessed, so her clothing will always be a delightful mix of trendy, yet feminine, with a touch of VK edge to them.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Eh, Evie's done an adventure or two in her time at home, but they're so overrated. Her clothes get muddy, her favorite boots break, her bff tries to put her into an eternal sleep, she ends up having to go back to the Isle. That's her take anyway. But she absolutely can and will go in, all in, if a friend is on the line. I'm open to both, but Evie's not the most gung-ho adventuring pal.
Current Activities/Developments: Well she's more than a little angry that her stepsister got hurt in the player event. She might be a tiny bit wicked and be planning a little revenge. Just a little. No poisoned apples involved. Beyond that, she's helping out Snow White at Sweetie Pies and attempting to relaunch her boutique in Empathias. Missing her boyfriend. Missing her friends. Worried about Lonnie being in a crystal.
Future Developments: Honestly, I'd like her to learn dunamis. She has the natural talent for magic and has her mom's spellbook memorized. But there's gonna be some natural hesitation from her about learning it because magic is frowned on in Auradon and she's soooooo determined to Be Good and fit in. Also wanting to have her expand her clothing boutique.
Shipping/Romance: Evie has a boyfriend at home and he might be The One. She's crazy about him. But I won't discount crushes in either direction happening because that's the age, and she is a notorious flirt.

Seeking: Friends! She eats up being social like you wouldn't believe. Teens her age are great, but some adults to show her what a loving parent figure can be like would be amazing too. Because she has no idea what that's like.
Offering: Loving friend who sees the best in everyone and takes joy in helping them see it too. Lucky for everyone she's also a fashion consultant, a chemist, and provider of makeup tips.
