Welcome to Empatheias' plotting and CR meme! Please fill out the form below with all of the necessary information. Then go forth and reply to others, plot, make friends, have shenanigans!

The Plot and CR meme will be posted on the first of each month, and will be posted once the intro posts have been posted, and again during the mid-month announcement. We highly encourage everyone to check the post from time to time, even if a week has passed. You never know what kind of opportunities you could be missing!

- GT0701 and 2: For Steven! He would totally be down for writing a song or multiple songs with people! He is also available for the dancing task, and the two could even be combined in threads!
- GT0703: For the Choose Your Own Adventure, I may have Gundam make a network post at some point running one of these. It will probably be especially frustrating.
- GT0705: Steven may be interested in trying out sand boarding!
- ST0704: Either Steven or Gundam could go after the runaway cutlery! Hilarity could ensue no matter what.
- ST0706: We have some non-killing ones this month, so Steven or Gundam could be available to help in searching for the Thaoris and Lily Swans! Gundam knows how to be careful with animals, while Steven will be particularly useful in singing for the Thaoris!

Brief Personality: Grumpy on the outside, kind on the inside, Roxas is the kind of guy who likes to put up walls, though thankfully, they come down pretty easily. He's a lost kid with a lot of questions about himself and his place in the world, though he's getting better at figuring that out. But he's always happy to help someone who needs it.
Appearance: Roxas is mostly on the short side though taller than he was. He has blond hair that defies gravity and possesses a fondness for checkerboards. Try not to mistake him for the guy who looks just like him. His expression is probably grumpier.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both! Roxas is usually looking for more adventures these days, as well as stuff that tends to get him out of his house.
Current Activities/Developments: Recently, Roxas decided he needed a break from people and headed off towards Sharnaath for two weeks. Unfortunately, he left and everything got set on fire. But mostly, he's been trying to figure out his place in the world, and his cast, and what to say to a bunch of people.
Future Developments: So, as mentioned previously, Roxas will be having conversations with people, most castmates about a lot of things, which will likely result in some heavy discussions. Ideally, this will give Roxas a little bit more of a chance to grow and figure out what he wants to be.

As such I'd like to balance that out with some fun stuff via helesium and task boards. Task board wise, I'd like for him to the sandboarding one (GT0705) and some monster hunting to get some of his pent up energy out.
Shipping/Romance: I am totally open to it and wouldn't mind if Roxas went on a date again.

Seeking: Friends, confidents, mentor figures. I would definitely like for Roxas to gain some more CR outside his cast!

Jaune Arc

Brief Personality: Fun goofball with Hidden Depths. Loves to inspire others but lacks confidence in himself. Can get temperamental sometimes, usually comically but also not so comically. Naturally funny, but hates being the comic relief. Cheery with friends, salty in private. A very consistent guy!
Appearance: One thing to note about Jaune is that he's 6'1, so most characters will probably be looking up when they talk to him. Additionally, due to wearing heavy gear + training excessively, he's a little brawny underneath the armor. ALWAYS carries his sword with him now, even when going out for coffee. It's not weird!!

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Jaune is very compatible in both scenarios, and I personally enjoy alternating my focus between those. He's a trained fighter with some experience under his belt now, and is always willing to do the right thing. If adventure calls, he'll be there!
Current Activities/Developments: He proposed to his partner in the middle of combat and now they're eloping. It's how teens do it! Other than that, he's training lots, and learning to harness his newest ability. He also recently got a job at the Hearth, so if anybody frequents that place, feel free to assume they've seen him around!
Future Developments: There is some stuff in the works, including a network post, so look out for that!
Shipping/Romance: he got de girl -- as in, he's happily taken for good! I got no problems with one-sided crushes, though.

Seeking: Jaune being a big bro to everyone. Seasoned fighters teaching Jaune new things. Funny and ridiculous stuff, because that always comes naturally with Jaune, but I'd also love more CR that takes him seriously. He's got insight and wisdom. Maybe some negative CR? Something along the lines of butting heads with somebody but still secretly being their friend.

Offering: Guy who helps out/offers perspective to should anybody need it for their development, whatever it may be! He's incredibly supportive and will make time for any problems.

If we don't have CR, or we do have CR and you wanna do more things, the easiest way to achieve it is through tasks! I'm honestly down for any of them, so if you'd like to do something with Jaune, or do a task that requires a partner, then please let me know!

Brief Personality: Thousands of years old, Tiki has a tendency to be wistful about youngsters, wax poetic about the old days, and take naps. However, she's also enthusiastic about meeting new people, experiencing new things, and learning new skills, even if her subdued expression may not make that obvious.
Appearance: Tiki is fairly short, and appears to be in her early 20s. The green hair and pointed ears will probably make her stick out as nonhuman, and she tends towards reds and pinks, as well as short dresses and capes just because they're what she's used to.

She's also got a dragon form that looks like a leafy seadragon, so there's that.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both! Although fighting makes her tired, she will do it if it helps (including with funds), and she won't complain until afterwards. At which point she will probably drag persuade whoever she's with to get food.
Current Activities/Developments: Tiki doesn't really have any character arcs going on atm, so to speak—she's just glad to get to meet people and get to know them better. Maybe she will meet you next!! (I also would be up for the dream sharing task this month!)
Future Developments: I don't have a real plan aside from getting to know people better and developing relationships? We shall see where things go...
Shipping/Romance: If this happens, it will be the slowest burn to ever slow burn. She's still holding a bit of a candle for Marth, and she also has to get past the "everyone is going to die before I do" barrier, but it's possible! I don't have a gender pref, as long as the CR/chemistry is there.

Seeking: I...! don't know. Philosophical types, mega old characters who can share her sad "humans have such short lives" feelings, boisterous/cheerful friends to take her to do stuff, whatever!
Offering: If anyone needs a calm, encouraging friend to help them along, I am here for u. Tiki is definitely willing to take small babbies (read: anyone under 100) under her wing, especially if they seem like they feel out of place.

Brief Personality: Big, oblivious mom (to Steven Universe). She's very curious towards other people, be they human or any other sort of species. Likes to have a fun time, very bad at serious talks about her feelings. May hurt someone else's feelings without meaning to do so.
Appearance: This is her! She's very, VERY tall. Like... eight feet tall.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both, because to someone like Rose, Slice of Life is an adventure all in itself.
Current Activities/Developments: She's still settling into Empatheias and getting used to the idea that she has a son in the future. It's a lot to take in for her.
Future Developments: Gore coined the beautiful notion that she needs her own van to possibly live in. Of course, Empatheias doesn't seem to have vans, so she would have to ask someone to construct it for her. It doesn't need to drive, but it would be swell if it could. I'll either create a task board task for it at some point, or just an open post where she puts out the request.
Shipping/Romance: Huehehehe... Well I mean... It's not like she understands monogamy.

Seeking: Interesting friends and people who can teach her about parenthood.
Offering: Terrible mom who does not know how to Human, but is always willing to joke around. She can also fight if there's ever a need- she's freakishly strong. Aaaand also she can sing and she loves plants.

Brief Personality: The most extra to ever extra. Will make dramatic entrances, strike beautiful poses, and walk like he's on a cat walk. All emotions are expressed through anger, but besides that, he'll mom the hell out of you.
Appearance: Beautiful red hair. A hat that refuses to fall off even when he's upside down. A coat worn like a cape, a bolo jacket, a vest, a collar, some weird harness, eternal gloves. Just consider him the symbol of Extra.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: BOTH. I refuse to make a decision here.
Current Activities/Developments: He's slowly involving himself with empatheias. He refused to do that for a while, beyond picking up a few tasks, but boredom is getting to him. He loves feeling useful, as well, so he'll definitely be poking his nose into more and more things.
Future Developments: I'd really like him to get better at emotions?? There are emotions beyond anger, Chuuya, and they're not dangerous. And as always I want him to learn that loyalty is not black and white, and there is such a thing as being too loyal
Shipping/Romance: He's taken, it's just that neither character is actually aware of that fact yet.

Seeking: Negative, positive, give me all of it. Sparring partners, people to discuss life, the universe and everything with him, people who call him out on shit, and people he can be protective of. People to get drunk with, too.
Offering: An extreme wine mom with issues, tbh. But see above, I'm good for anything.

Canon: Pokémon: Book Five of A Song of Ice and Fire
Brief Personality: Multi talented thief, hacker and con-artist. Likes to think of himself as a hardened criminal but in actuality if he were any softer he'd be melting. Good at heart, but prone to cruelty at times and is highly empathetic without being very sympathetic. Governed completely by his wild, mercurial emotions so he can come across as scatter-brained.

Appearance: A tall, slender androgynous looking young man with intense green eyes and periwinkle hair. Could be intimidating if not for the everything about him. Built like a dancer but has a lazy range of motion unless something is driving him into action. Usually is wearing either a button-down T-shirt and khakis or a vest and trousers, with his hair pulled back. Almost always wearing sunglasses. Has not yet worn the Team Rocket uniform but he has it with him.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both, but leaning adventure. James can enjoy domestic life but he's a Pokémon Trainer and used to traveling. He's also inquisitive by nature so he'll doubtlessly try to learn more about the world.
Current Activities/Developments: He just moved into his own place near the lake; a large log structure where he lives with his Mareanie. He took a sentry mech back from Brinndosi and is trying to repair it, mostly on the sly. From it he wants to learn more about the tech of this world so he can build a weapon....
Also he's looking for work.
Future Developments: His long term project is studying the Brinndosi mech and trying to build a mech of his own so he can use it to capture an Arehtei for Team Rocket since he's convinced they're legendary Pokémon. This is VERY long term. Someday I think it would be interesting for him to at least look into Dunamis.
Shipping/Romance: I am not seeking shipping but am open to anything that happens organically. James has some complicated, unexamined feelings for his teammate back home, though, and is generally a bit of a mess when it comes to relationships due to past trauma. It's unlikely he'll end up shipping material, but people are welcome to have their characters crush on him.
Seeking: Any kind of CR! Positive, negative, friends, enemies... Weird complicated dynamics are also my jam. Don't feel shy about tossing characters at James who may clash with him.
Offering: A highly emotional criminal with a heart of gold buried under a few cruel streaks. Extremely gifted when it comes to advanced technology, pretty darn decent at other forms of tech, good ear for languages, is still somehow an idiot. Extremely gullible.

Brief Personality: Stoic and reserved kind of guy with a bunch of emotions hidden inside. He's an idealist who strives for peace and equality for all. Generally comes off as cold and kinda emotionless at times, which is his default state when he's around acquaintances and people he doesn't know well, but he can be kind of friendly when he begins to warm up a little to someone. Also, he's a very lonely person.
Appearance: He comes in either two forms. His robot form! He's 7'5" and can transform into an armoured vehicle. His cute avatar form! The avatar is really small, standing at only 5', and he usually uses it when he's out on small outings.


Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both! SoL for CR-building purposes, though Soundwave will lean towards adventure more.
Current Activities/Developments: Still trying to deal with his feelings which will hopefully be soothed by the end of this month. He's still working at The Gold Pan, hanging out around the park, or at some cafe with/without an accompanying friend. He can be both found in his robot form or avatar form.
Future Developments: Okay! Continuing his ~love~ development, he had a couple of talks with two someones regarding the strange feelings he has, and he finally figured out that he has feelings for a certain android. Though he's still very much confuse about those feelings, he decided to talk about them with said android later during Helisium in hopes of calming himself down a little. Will it work out? Who knows...
Shipping/Romance: Look up. As clueless as Soundwave could be about love and romantic stuff in general, he does have a potential ship that might get kickstarted at the end of the month. Crushes on him or his avatar are totally fine, just don't expect anything long-term to come up.

Seeking: Give me anything! Mechanics/robot enthusiasts, space/future people, and more robotkind-- even if he's not exactly a robot despite his looks. Any CR is fine! I love them all!
Offering: Ice king and a jerkass but a decent guy once you melt that down. When need be; he's blunt, honest, and tells things as it is. A good listener and a loyal friend. Also a veteran soldier, so other soldier people can approach him. Can also act like a big bro to someone- given that he cares enough about them. Pls befriend this lonely asshole.

Brief Personality: A sentimental and goofy teenchild who often acts as a pollyana, though he still has his shares of insecurities and angst. But mostly he wants to try to be a hero and everyone's friend!
Appearance: This is what he looks like and how he most commonly dresses. He looks like a child despite actually being a teenager. And the most distinctive thing about his appearance is a rose quartz gem that he has in place of his belly button.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both! Steven enjoys hanging around and engaging in slice-of-life shenanigans, but he still wants to answer calls to adventure and to do what he can to help others!
Current Activities/Developments: One of the most eventful things to happen for him recently has been the arrival of Rose Quartz, his mother who he's never met before. So he's dealing with that and getting to know her while wrestling with his mixed feelings about her! He was also on the recent excursion, and he's getting that clunky computer as a mystery gift. However, he'll love it and use those two programs so much!
Future Developments: He'll be continuing to deal with getting to know his mom, and he'll also be attempting to help Kor in that coming player plot. He'll also have a presence at Helisium, and task board information for the month for him is here! Beyond that, I'm mostly going with the flow with him, without any big plans beyond generally having him work on his struggles with moral complexity and dealing with lingering issues/trauma from canon.
Shipping/Romance: I'm not looking to ship with him (beyond playing with his feelings for a character from canon, Connie), but I'm open to other characters having age appropriate unrequited puppy crushes on him.

Seeking: I'm open to most kinds of CR! Other kids/teens, fellow cinnamon rolls, grumpy/antisocial friends whom he can try to win over. He's also been looking for more people to play music with!
Offering: A very energetic young friend who wants to help anyone with their troubles and be a reliable little bro! Or a persistent morality pal. He also has a bunch of unique abilities that could play into threads, such as healing spit (which has been shown to cure things like bad eyesight and broken legs, and even partially/temporarily combating corruption effects) and the ability to enter people's dreams/mindscapes when he's asleep (though usually unintentionally). Also he is sometimes accompanied by a large pink lion.
Not Interested In/Avoiding: I'd prefer to avoid interactions that are too dark/graphic/sexual and keep things with him around a PG level.

Brief Personality: Woman of few words who comes off a little cold and imposing sometimes, but she's really just a kind-hearted marshmallow beneath the ice. Independent, stern, kind of cheeky, definitely the big sis, and cares a ton about the people she loves.
Appearance: Pink hair, blue eyes, 5'7".

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Lightning lends herself well to both! She's had enough adventure in her life to last her five more centuries, so sometimes it's nice for her to sit back and relax, but she also wants to help people/save the damn world and she's an excellent fighter, so that's where the adventure comes in!
Current Activities/Developments: At the moment, nothing major. She's living her life the way she wants to, and is happy (?!!!?!?). The Crystalfam house recently got an Oracle Drive in their possession, so that's a grand old time, but other than that, Lightning is mostly just navigating through life and "that emotion stuff."
Future Developments: I don't have anything in mind at the moment, but I'm looking to find ways to shake up her life a bit! It's been a little too quiet... 🤔
Shipping/Romance: Happily taken :)

Seeking: Friends, frienemies, enemies, and everything in between! Some more hunting partners, or even some negative CR would be neat! She works well against people with some energy and pep who can put up with and break through her "ugh" attitude as well.
Offering: Someone to spar/train with, combat teacher, the stoic friend or the big sister friend... if you like over-the-top fight scenes equipped with rose petals or someone who can offer real and honest opinions on anything, then she's also your gal!

Brief Personality: Weiss used to be your school's mean girl but she later changed to become this softie who will become your best tsundere friend. She's still pretty icy and she still has a sharp tongue and won't be scared to hurt people with her words should it come to it, especially now that she's been canon updated.
Appearance: Short (even in her 3-inch heels), always either in white or blue or lilac, has really long white hair tied to a sidetail, and has a scar on her left eye! Does not wear pants. A photo!

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both! At the moment, she'd be more interested in adventure than slice of life. She wants to get out there.
Current Activities/Developments: Last month, Weiss finally managed to get small house in Theasthai. The Beacon House is still in Verens and that's where she normally stays but she'll be in Theasthai more often now thanks to the house.
Future Developments: Not much! She's doing pretty well in Empatheias so she's just going with the flow of the world right now. She knows Helisium is coming up, though, so she likely will be helping out with preparations and dress up and such.
Shipping/Romance: Now single, but she is not interested in dating anybody at the moment. Feel free to be charmed by her, or try to charm her, anyway.

Seeking: Weiss' close cross-canon CR is slowly dwindling and I want her to get out more. I'm definitely open to all kinds of CR - sparring buddies, performing buddies, task buddies, etc. Acquaintances to friends would be great because I would like for her to actually befriend and be close with people outside of her world more!
Offering: If you need someone who will your character, or someone who is a by-the-book type of person, then please consider tagging Weiss! She's also very much into sparring lately and she fights using a rapier, her summons, and her emotions. She can also be someone's negative CR should it come to that! She's not very nice at first, usually.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: I wanna say both? I'd love to get a good balance of both for her. Though, with being from Kingdom Hearts and her being someone who would definitely step into a situation if needed - I'd definitely be up for doing more adventure type things with her!
Current Activities/Developments: SWEATS... She's going to have her hands full taking care of the Kingdom Hearts cast and the plot coming up... AT THE SAME TIME: I plan to do a backdated log before the plot starts, and I'd love to have her tackle some tasks with any character that'd like to do that with her!

Brief Personality: Nora is always cheerful, friendly and energetic. She's very loud and can be all over the place, and not afraid of anything. But underneath her sunny demeanor and ditzy ways is a very sharp perception of people and a repository of good advice.
Appearance: Only 5'1" in height with clipped red hair, aqua eyes, and tends to walk with a spring in her step. Much, much, much stronger than she looks. Tends to wear pink, navy blue and white. But isn't my girl so adorable.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: With a character like Nora, both is always good. She likes to hang out with her friends normally or do relatively slice of life stuff, but she's also ready for adventure and butt-kickery. Although she's had quite some adventure with the Peromei event, I'm down for more. Basically? Give me both.
Current Activities/Developments: Nora got a job at a local gym as a combat instructor but still works at Future Beginnings doing the same thing, although she's considering shifting again to another job if she can just for a change of pace. Currently dating Ren. Owns a pet red wyvern named Apple. Lives with her friends in that huge and topsy-turvy house.
Future Developments: I want more opportunities for Nora to experience negative emotions. Since I was out for 4 days, I might tag late into the event for a little of that delicious despair. I also want her to meet new friends, try new things, do more tasks. Although I want Nora to mature a bit (lol fat chance), I also want the process to happen naturally, if that makes sense. OH well I do want her to experience having a student since I did mention that bit about her teaching combat stuff.
Shipping/Romance: Dating Ren, but characters are free to crush on her.

Seeking: More friends, more negative CR, sparring buddies, workout buddies, students, other people to eat and be merry with, found family, the list goes on and on and on. I would really like to see her really annoy someone or anger someone though. I wonder if that's even possible.

Brief Personality: Red is a very, very quiet 11-year-old who normally has an extremely flat-affect. Appearance: Not much to note about Red's appearance other than the fact that he is never seen without a hat and has serious resting bitch face.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: For this month, I'd like to focus more on Slice of Life or light Task Board adventures. Red is still adjusting/trying to build CR and I will also be gone for part of the month, so slice of life would suit me better.
Current Activities/Developments: Not much is going on with Red right now! He spends 99% of his time in a tent in/exploring the woods, but also has moved in with Lance and Archie. He really mostly just wanders around doing whatever, so I'm open to pretty much anything happening with him.
Future Developments: No plans as of right now. I'm focusing on building CR/establishing Red in this setting.
Shipping/Romance: He's only 11, so cute hand-holding shipping is fine, but nothing beyond that.

Offering: Red is a good kid with strong morals who always wants to do the right thing and help people. Canon: Kingdom Hearts -- specifically, re:Chain of Memories
Brief Personality: Canonically, Riku Replica is a physical clone of Riku when he was 15 years old, using memories of Riku's fighting style blended with Sora's memories of his home and of Riku. However, those memories were twisted into an antagonistic rivalry within Riku Replica's fake memories. Here in Verens, he has started coming to terms with all of that, and now goes by the name "Arden."
Arden is an artificially created being and he's cognizant of when people talk to him about things that he "should" know about, but either absolutely has no idea, or thinks he knows but the reason he knows is fake memories. The big thing he tackled as a hobby, in an effort to be good at something that was not fighting, was baking and cooking. He is now a manager for Snow White's bakery, Sweetie Pies. He also takes care of Castor, a tiny wyvern capable of perching on his shoulder, and the twin brother of Sora's pet Pollux. He lives at KH Clubhouse.
Appearance: Arden has been in Verens for nearly 2 years and is now 17 years old, starting to hit Riku's growth spurt. He has longer hair than his icons and pretty soon is going to have to start pulling it back into a ponytail. He is lithe and strong, but in an acrobatic way.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Arden has, by necessity of character growth, done a lot of slice of life lately, but he's getting back to a comfortable level with sparring and adventures where he isn't constantly thinking about what he was made for - as a fighter in the image of Riku. So more tasks and more dunamis practice, anything like that. However, because he's built up the angle of bakery manager, I still love developing that with new characters.
Current Activities/Developments: Arden is going to get knocked unconscious and need his amulet replaced by Anti-Sora. After that he'll need his weapon reforged by Machina.
Future Developments: Later in July he'll be returning to Sweetie Pies bakery for a mingle with the new staff and also attending the event.

Seeking: I'd like him to get better at dunamis for sure. I can also see him taking up a second hobby. His biggest lingering issue is self-image, as he still avoids mirrors and other aspects of looking at himself, since he still sees Riku there. Minnie dubbed him a knight but I want him to get more comfortable with introducing himself as "Sir Arden", after feeling like he earned it - his epithet is "Knight of Perseverance."
Offering: He'll spar just about anyone on their terms - weapon only, no weapons, magic only, no holds barred. Arden is just starting to get back into meditation, which he learned early on from Nahyuta and Zenyatta before they dropped, as a way to control his fractured-memory-blip moments. Cooking buddies to swap recipes, outside of the bakery staff, are also welcome.

Brief Personality: Average young man with extraordinary luck (even if it's a little on the odd side). Kind and helpful, but Naegi's most defining characteristic is the fact that he can stay optimistic in even the worst situations.
Appearance: Also pretty average in appearance, but what stands out about him the most is... probably the hair in the middle of his head that's literally standing out (otherwise known as his ahoge).

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: I'd like to try and strike a balance if I can, but Naegi is more adventure-oriented at the moment! Because of some more spoilery DR reasons he's very invested in learning as much about Empatheias and the world's history as he can right now, so throwing him at more plot-related things is definitely a goal. That aside, I do want to try and mix in some more slice of life sort of things so it's not all plot all the time.
Current Activities/Developments: Things have evened out for him since the last couple of months. He's now overseeing the school/free learning business, Future Beginnings, formerly started by his upperclassman Hinata Hajime. There's a few people on board already, but new students and teachers are always welcome to it! Other than that, some noteworthy things that have happened with him recently or will be happening: learning and honing his Dunamis with Tanaka Gundam; a little roughed up physically but encouraged by the results of the Brinndosi event; possibly trying out some of the things rec'd to him on an anon post to increase his height a bit; and carrying on with his other day to day things.
Future Developments: Nothing too huge for the immediate present, but at some point I'll need to figure out what to do with the ??? Agency. This was founded by his classmate Kirigiri Kyouko, and then taken over for a short while by Saihara Shuuichi after her return home. With Saihara also departed, Naegi is currently living in the Agency as he had been, but I'm not quite sure if there were any other employees there who would like to keep things going with it.
Other than that, he'll be working hard to get better with Dunamis, spending time trying to discover more about Empatheias when the opportunities present themselves, and I'll see about thinking up some kinds of little events or open logs for Future Beginnings at some point. Also, still thinking on it a bit, but I might have him take up teaching Japanese or some basic Earth history at some point as well.
Shipping/Romance: The state of this is still LONG DISTANCE STARE, but is otherwise still the same as before - has feelings for Kirigiri and that's unlikely to ever change. Romance is a very tiny possibility in the distant future, but it's something that wouldn't even come into Naegi's mind as being possible. OOC-ly, though, I'm cool with characters crushing on him or anything else, but he's really just gonna need some time for a while, still.

Seeking: Any and all kinds of CR, really! Positive or negative, I'm usually down for most things. Friends, enemies (although it's hard for Naegi to view others as enemies, really... with exceptions), older brother/moming/being too parental, partners for Dunamis practice, new students or teachers at Future Beginnings. Throw it at me and I'll roll with it!
Offering: Naegi is a very encouraging and outgoing sort of person, always willing to lend an ear or offer a shoulder for someone who needs it, and he'll relentlessly attempt to befriend even the grumpiest or shyest sorts of characters. Some of his friends from back home are not easy people to get along with by any stretch of the definition, so it really takes a lot to shake Naegi off if he decides to befriend someone. That said, he's also the sort that won't push somebody into reciprocating something they don't want, so he'll remain kind but not force an unwanted friendship. If one does accept that friendship, though, in Naegi they'll find a friend that will be there for them in any way they might need.
Not Interested In/Avoiding: Nothing, really! There isn't anything I can think of that I wouldn't be cool with playing, so definitely throw anything at me.

Brief Personality: Sweet natured and compassionate to a fault, she'll often put the needs and desires of others in front of her own. At the same time, she can transform into a fierce and reckless fighter when the situation calls for it. She often settles into a Team Mom/older sister/peacemaker role, though there's a sprinkling of stubborn pride and bullheadedness that comes with it all.
Appearance: She arrived in her Alfheim Online avatar, which gives her light blue hair, elf-like ears and translucent wings that can appear and disappear at will.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Asuna needs a little of both to maintain her balance. In her world she's known for planning elaborate parties for people she cares about, but she could get stir crazy if she didn't get to adventure a little bit.
Current Activities/Developments: She's finally getting past the "Wait, this isn't a game?!?" stage and is starting to settle into life in Verens. Due to recent events in her real life, Asuna has started to see a difference between the real life Asuna and the person she becomes online. While her time in Brinndosi has helped her to at least confront this, she's still reluctant to talk with anyone about her problems for fear of being seen as a fraud. In other words... she's bottling things up in a very unhealthy way.
Future Developments: Asuna's way of tackling her insecurity will be to get more involved, helping others and generally trying to act as emotional support for anyone who might need it. She's also intrigued at the thought of trying to use Dunamis to enhance her sword skills. Maybe not the best idea for someone who's repressing a lot of stuff...
Shipping/Romance: Asuna cares deeply for her boyfriend/in game husband Kirito and misses him dearly. That nagging insecurity, however, makes her worry that he only loves the brave swordswoman he met in Aincrad and not the "weaker" real life Asuna. That said... it's not impossible she'd develop feelings for someone else at some point.

Seeking: Above all else, new friends! Asuna loved spending time with her "online family" in Alfheim. Any excuse she could find to throw a big party for her friends would be welcome. Negative CR could be fun as well, since she does have a bit of a snarky side she doesn't get to show off as much. Long term, I think it would be good to find someone she could confide in completely... though it would probably take her a while to reach that point.
Offering: Since she's the type who could break both legs and would insist on putting a band-aid on someone else's skinned knee first, she'd be great as support, either in combat or as a friend. She's become the responsible big sister/mom in her group of friends, but also has a playful side she doesn't get to show as much. She'd also be willing to serve as a sparring partner if anyone needed it.

And will do so any way she can. So because of that she goes around making friends and participating in events and things like that because that creates more and more despair.
Appearance: She looks about the same as she does in her icons, which is boring, but nothing's really happened to make her change her look too much.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both! Junko sees both slice of life and adventure stuff as opportunities to experience and create despair, so she's here for both of those. Probably not too much adventuring this month though.
Current Activities/Developments: Not a ton going on actually. She went on the trip last month and got to despair over that. She's kind of still directionless after pulling some crap in Shaarnath earlier this year, but she should be starting to come out of that a little.
Future Developments: Let's see, she'll be attending Helisium for sure, she usually does that. I don't have any real future plans yet, but like I said, she should be starting to find direction again, or at least some sort of despair idea to work towards, so we'll see what shakes out there with her.
Shipping/Romance: Junko is a perpetual despair garbage fire, which doesn't mean it couldn't happen, but that's something to keep in mind.

Seeking: Any sort of CR! Junko's the type of character who wants to meet all sorts of people, ones who like the person she presents as, people who hate the person she presents herself as, people who hate the real her, people who like the real her, friends, enemies, just people to talk to, anything! If they're capable of feeling despair, she wants to meet them! And if they're not, she wants to meet them too because she can despair over that.
Offering: Junko is kind of sketchy in that she changes her act around to try and create despair, so she can be a lot of things to a lot of people. Usually this results in trying to make friends, but she's got no problem antagonizing people if that's what works best. And of course there's always the option of getting to meet her real nonstop despair persona which is great for negative CR...or positive CR depending on what your character is like.

Brief Personality: Arthur is a sheltered and privileged bookworm-turned-adventurer. He’s overly formal, dryly sarcastic, and has a penchant for complaining as a coping mechanism. However, he’s got a good heart and will usually stick his neck out for people, even if he bitches about it all the while.

Appearance: Arthur is a hyur (the XIV-version of a plain old human), and he stands at 5’10, which is on the taller side of average for most Midlander hyur. Adorable freckle face, and the book he always wears. Dresses like a fancy boy always.

He also has a faerie companion by the name of Clover. She usually keeps out of sight unless she has reason to. A few people have met her already.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both, but I would like to lean more towards adventure. Arthur didn’t ask for a life of adventure, but it’s got a hold of him now so he’s pretty likely to get into shenanigans if someone asks, or if he just stumbles into it. He is always, always willing to help his friends out for whatever, as well.

Current Activities/Developments: He's been here six months already?? Somehow?? He's settled in quite nicely and aside from working at the Central Library, is always up for taskboard jobs or random expeditions.

Future Developments: I've got plans for him to run into nega!Merisia and potentially get his ass beat, so he might be down and out for a little while, though absolutely open to visitors! He will also be attending the masquerade! Please dance with him. Other than that, he's pretty free and open!

Shipping/Romance: There are Plans on this front, so he is effectively taken. However, I am totally down for people getting crushes on him because he will literally not know what to do with that information.

Seeking: Anything! Friends, people to butt heads with, people/situations to bring out the salty healer in him, fellow nerds to talk about nerd stuff with.

Offering: Snarky bookworm who likes to learn about all the things. Arthur is also a healer, so if anyone gets hurt and needs help, he’ll absolutely be there. He is a strategic mind with a keen interest in learning more about this world’s history and how it might be restored. He is loyal to an absolute fault, and takes his promises and responsibilities extremely seriously.
Appearance: 6’0”, lean, athletic build, always impeccably dressed and well put-together. He wears dark or otherwise opaque glasses to hide his eyes since his injury, but there are still scars that can be seen peeking out above and below the frames, as well as a scar across his nose and on his lower lip. Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both! Ignis was temporarily on leave from adventure-type things as he adjusted to being blind, but he’s been back in the saddle for a little bit!
Current Activities/Developments: Ignis has primarily been focused on being able to handle all of his old responsibilities without needing to ask for assistance, and he’s come a long way in doing so. He’s been managing to regain some of his cooking skills, and has been continually working on keeping his combat skills sharp so that he can put them into practice again sooner rather than later, as he hates feeling idle.
Future Developments: Ignis will be keeping things pretty low-key until Helisium later this month. He has his hands full with keeping From the Hearth up and running, although he has recently started taking on hunts again (with partners) and moved on from simple sparring sessions.
Shipping/Romance: Ignis recently got hitched to Steven Stone in a quiet city hall sort of affair, though it’s still on the down-low with the exception of close CR/housemates, although that news will probably spread through their social circles at some point.

She has a lot more going on underneath the surface than might be immediately apparent to those who don't know her, but she generally has a sunny attitude and a warm, friendly disposition. Just don't make her mad.
Appearance: Yang is very conventionally attractive in terms of her build and face and she has bright blonde hair for days. Also purple irises that turn red when she's pissed. The other noteworthy thing about her is a big spoiler for V3 onward.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both! Yang lives for adventures but she also recognizes the importance of relaxing and spending time with friends.
Current Activities/Developments: Yang tends to be very go with the flow unless there's some trouble afoot. She doesn't have a set job and instead freelances around through the Task Board or takes part in excursions. The trip to Brinndosi was...interesting, and with that done she's probably going to re-focus on what's going on in Shaarnath because what's going on there still has her kinda...anxious.
Future Developments: Just some tasks and Helisium for now! She'll be taking part in both Shaarnath tasks this month (as well as writing a RWBY OST song with Weiss) so if you want to team up with her for those let me know. I'm open to some of the other tasks but would primarily like to keep any memory-related ones to close-ish CR.
Shipping/Romance: Yang is single again after being "casually taken" for a few months but that's fine. This is fine. 8'D Nah, I kid, it really is mostly fine, but she's probably not going to be looking at non-platonic relationships any time soon. Feel free to try to woo and/or flirt with her though. There's a 50/50 chance she'll flirt back for the fun. Or punch you. So, you know, coin flip.

Seeking: I'm steadily trying to get Yang some more cross-canon CR but I'm also open to advancing CR with castmates and other close CR. Yang's doing pretty well but she's still got some rather personal things going on that she's really yet to talk to anybody about and has basically been handling on her own (an old and not so great habit). Unfortunately, some of them are PTSD-related so I totally understand if those are topics people don't want to thread out or come up in RP.
Offering: She is a Team Mom and Big Sister to a "T" so she's always happy to help out CR with things or just do stuff to make them feel better. For new CR, she's pretty out-going and friendly to most, but she can be kinda judgy at times. Basically, if your character acts like a bummer, she's probably going to think that's just how they are unless she gets a chance to know them better or see them outside their comfort zone. Also don't expect her to let somebody be rude or otherwise unpleasant towards her without saying and/or doing something about it. Unless you want that kind of negative CR in which case, I am 1000% here for it.

Brief Personality: Grumpy tsundere teenager with a lot of past hangups. Generally keeps people at a distance, but for as blunt as his words can be at times, he's actually very kind. Tends to enjoy cooking too, and has a soft spot for cute animals, but often does his best to hide those facts.
Appearance: Nothing special of note, beyond the fact that he looks like a delinquent who often hangs out in back alleys - and honestly it's not far from the truth. Often covered in layers of clothing, and likes to wear his trademark beanie wherever he goes. Colors usually are dark in tone, like blacks, greys and dark reds.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both! Though I probably do much better with SoL things, I do like dramatic battle threads where stuff is going on and happening! Any excuse to get this boy in a fight, too, I won't ever turn down because he's a lot fun to play in those situations. That said, I also really enjoy the chill chats with people over lunch/tea. Being awkward and embarrassed when people show him more kindness than he expects, him being sarcastic and worrying over the health of his friends in others, and learning what it's like to be sociable again after spending so much time keeping everyone at a distance are all things that I love a bit too much.
Current Activities/Developments: The only thing he's focusing on is recovering from his sudden arrival back in Empatheias and the Peromei's expedition which he thought would be a good distraction, only to be promptly proven absolu-freakin'-tely wrong. So he's going to spend most of his time at the spa trying to sleep off that disaster, with the occasional wandering around the city to find more positive outlets. Previously, he's been known to pick up cooking jobs and I'll probably have him do as much again once he's settled in and back on his feet. Though he doesn't have any set life plans, and generally treats a lot of his decisions as distractions more than actual goals.
Future Developments: Learning more about the world he lives in is likely a interest that he'll end up diving into again. Generally to get a better idea of it's dangers and such, but he's also not one to ignore the nicer parts of it as well. Also still like the idea of him one day owning his own bakery, but amused at the thought of Shinji working at every food place ever, because he likes learning about unique foods and different ways to cook things. As for emotions, probably get it to where he doesn't hate who he is as much, because it's a lot of what holds him back from doing things in general. There's a lot of guilt he has a bad habit of holding onto as well, and it often leaves him stuck in his own head. Working out his issues with Castor is another, but that one's a little more complicated.

That said, he has made some development in those areas. So he's not as bad as when he first arrived in Emp, but that negativity still peeks through every once in awhile.
Shipping/Romance: Shinjiro himself isn't interested in romance, often finding just friendship with people difficult. Though I honestly would love to play him in a situation where he can be more cute and affection to someone in that way, he's very much a slowburn type of character and can be somewhat of a challenge when it comes to letting people get that close to him. So when it comes down to it, I'm pretty content with good friendship/family CR for now.

Seeking: Literally anyone that wants to interact with him, honestly. Although I have a love for CR that lets him hang around cute animals or adorable kids being cute at him. Characters that enjoy cooking are good, too! But I wouldn't mind him making friends with people that are like him in the sense that they're kind, but a bit rough around the edges too.
Offering: He's very much the type of person who has no problem telling people off, when he thinks they're doing something stupid. Has a habit of being a bit of a "mom" towards people as well, even to the point where he'll purposely make food for them to make sure they eat healthy. So if you want a character who's likely to fuss over someone's eating habits, Shinjiro's got that covered. He also has a wyvern, who's far spirited than he is and overly positive, so pet play dates can certainly be a thing too. He's also a capable fighter, and even though he doesn't actively look for sparring partners, he's not completely against it (as long as it doesn't involve using his persona). Even more so, with how dangerous this world tends to be, and for that reason he's always interested in seeing what the people here can do fighting-wise. Likely doesn't help that he can be somewhat competitive as well.

Appearance: Green hair, wide red eyes, and she tends to wear tube tops.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Emerald is up for either, though the adventure part is more likely if she thinks she can get something out of it than any level of heroics.

Current Activities/Developments: She's been in denial that she's making friends and just trying to keep her nose out of anything attention-drawing. She played basketball a little and has been bullying boys. She's also been trying to figure out dunamis and making a little bit of progress but not much.

Future Developments: She'll probably go hang around Helisium. She had pretty decent success at the Flower Festival with getting people to give her things for free. She would like to see how much she can get for free this time and also she's gonna wear Neptune's goggles for her mask as a trophy.

Shipping/Romance: She completely legitimately won Neptune's goggles during a speed dating-related bet and touched his butt to plant evidence, does that count? That's probably the closest thing to counting she has.

Seeking: Anything really! I'm open to positive or negative. Or someone who thinks it's positive but Em thinks it's negative or they can both pretend to be best friends and hate each other secretly. She wants to practice dunamis more too, so maybe someone to practice with who doesn't mind someone who may cheat a little if she gets frustrated. She would love someone who is less morally outstanding who is willing to listen to her bitch/gossip please, she's going to explode.

Brief Personality: Taiyang Xiao Long, much like his daughter Yang Xiao Long, has a very cheerful and upbeat demeanor; being somewhat mischievous and playful as can be seen by his youth. His good nature is one that often is conveyed through the grin that he wears, as well as the relaxed manner that he carries himself with. His mischievousness is expressed through the pranks of his youth; one of which involved him convincing Qrow that a skirt was a kilt, and then having him wear it in front of the entire class. One of several stories he fondly looks back on and laughs, as he can be seen reminiscing with the professors from Beacon. It is further demonstrated in the somewhat irreverent way that he addresses the conflict within Yang as well, making the joke “If you honestly think that you're ready to go out there on your own, ha, well I guess you lost some brain cells along with that arm.” When she insists that she’s ready to fight again before fully recovering, Tai is concerned but rather than just saying no he makes a joke of it to lighten the situation. In addition, he refers to her semblance as throwing a temper tantrum, and even jokes that her physical balance could use some work while speaking of her emotional balance. For Tai, jokes and a grin a way to ease the burden of addressing a problem. They are a form of coping and interacting with others in a way that keeps things from getting too tense or convoluted.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Great thing about Tai is that he fits well into both categories.

Slice of Life for house and gardening advice and tips. As well as general socializing, jokes, and being a proud papa of two wonderful girls. Adventure to keep off the rust for his duties as a Huntsman and professor at a combat based Huntsman academy.

Current Activities/Developments: Tai spends most of his time tending to the garden boxes outside his apartment, which likely has some impressive Sunflowers by now, as well as a few roses. Other than that most he is a regular at the Beastmaster Hunting Guild.

Future Developments: I would like for Tai to develop a bit more CR with other adults, and possibly find a few regular drinking buddies/sparring partners. He's also going to look at joining up with anyone offering lessons on combat to help those interested in learning hand-to-hand combat skills.

Shipping/Romance: It would be fun, so if anyone is interested in playing something out I'm game. One of his former partners popped in for a short time, which threw him off his game a little, so he might be a little slow on the uptake.

Seeking: CR with adults and a bit more cross-canon CR. Someone to call him out on his terrible puns and inability to actually deal with things that have happened in the past. Also, someone to remind him of the good times to be had with harmless practical jokes or buy him a Tye-dye shirt.
