Welcome to Empatheias' plotting and CR meme! Please fill out the form below with all of the necessary information. Then go forth and reply to others, plot, make friends, have shenanigans!
The Plot and CR meme will be posted bi-monthly alongside character and player intros, usually around the sixth of each month. We highly encourage everyone to check the post from time to time, even if a week has passed. You never know what kind of opportunities you could be missing!

We can skip the introductions, just handwave them meeting through it and go enjoy Briarlan or something like that.On the topic of more decent opportunities though: Cryptids and penguins! GT0102 for the first - come join him on a hunt, or rather, he needs someone to, so agree to it and win one favor owed to you that will be paid back asap because Natsume hates owing people... And I think the first two penguin-related quests aren't too-too dangerous for him, and also do not require him to swim - that's GT017 and GT0106! If anyone else is interested in doing stuff with those hmu.
Re: TASK BOARD RECRUITMENT
As himself, he would take on the ice fishing one (GT0104), mainly to get fish for Wayzz to eat, and because it's something he's never done.
As Carapace, he would take on monster hunting (ST0110). His power is more geared towards defense, so anyone willing to team up with him would be nice.

Brief Personality: A good-natured young lad who wants to befriend everyone, but he also carries his fair share of angst and problems, and wants to solve Everyone's Problems.
Appearance: So Steven has grown physically last month, to account for how long he’s been in game. He no longer looks like an eight year old and now looks more like a legitimate teenager. He’s a taller boy, often wearing some nice jacket over a shirt with a star on it. There’s still a pink gem on his belly button, usually hidden by his clothes. And he’s still sometimes accompanied by a large pink lion!
Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both! Steven enjoys hanging around and engaging in slice-of-life shenanigans, but he still wants to answer calls to adventure and to do what he can to help those who need it!
Current Activities/Developments: Last month, Steven had his growth spurt after processing his mom going back home. He’s been trying to get out there and be more social again.
Future Developments: For this month, I’m partly going with the flow and don’t have too much definite planned. But later this month, I might give Steven an Actual Canon Update to Steven Universe Future. This will also come with more of a shift in Steven's behavior, as he'll push himself even more in being responsible and trying to take on everyone's burdens.
Shipping/Romance: None here! I only really ship Steven with one person from his canon and don’t really have any interest in cross-canon shipping him. Age appropriate characters are still allowed to have one-sided crushes on him, however.
Seeking: I'm open to most kinds of CR! Other young people, fellow cinnamon rolls, grumpy/antisocial friends whom he can try to win over. When it comes to music, he can jam with others and/or give lessons!
Offering: A very energetic young friend who wants to help anyone with their troubles! He also has a bunch of unique abilities that could play into threads, such as healing spit (which has been shown to cure things like bad eyesight and broken legs) and the ability to enter people's dreams when he's asleep (sometimes unintentionally). With his closer CR, there’s also the possible option of fusion.
Not Interested In/Avoiding: Just want to keep him from things dark enough to potentially break him. But seriousness and some amount of intensity is still welcome!

Gundam Tanaka
Canon: Dangan Ronpa
Brief Personality: A chuunibyou/edgelord who tries to hide his caring side and often acts condescending to others, but he is also great with all sorts of animals and has the potential to be a loyal friend.
Appearance: This is his general appearance and what he usually wears. He has his ridiculous hair, his faked heterochromia (the differently colored eye is a contact lens), a Hell Hound Earring, pale skin, no apparent eyebrows, a scar across one eye (apparently it's a tattoo) and one arm that is always bandaged. He also always wears his scarf, which usually contains four hamsters - or rather, the Four Dark Devas of Destruction.
Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both! Gundam's ridiculous and over-the-top manner of doing things can make even slice-of-life feel like an adventure. But he also does like to go out on actual adventures, mostly when there's interesting animals involved.
Current Activities/Developments: He’s mostly been keeping up with his normal stuff (looking after various animals, honing his dunamis, occasionally hanging out with actual human beings) and tries to be standoffish with others. Last month, he celebrated his birthday while ‘suffering’ from the werewolf flu. Now he’s probably mostly sad that he’s not a wolf anymore.
Future Developments: I’m partly going with the flow and trying to build up CR with him! He's generally game for tasks.
Shipping/Romance: As an edgelord, he likes to pretend that he’s above having shippy feelings than others. However, he can and has developed feelings for other beings. Depending on the development, he could potentially be open to shipping with others. It would just most likely be slow-burn and with Gundam being difficult before accepting it.
Seeking: Various kinds of friends! People to be baffled by him, people to play along with him, fellow animal lovers and/or people who need help with animals. Light-hearted rivals and enemies, fellow chuuni edgelords, are also fun.
Offering: Someone who will annoy and/or entertain your character with how ridiculously he handles everything! But also a possible loyal (while still eccentric!) friend in the making. Someone who can introduce your character to a lot of animals, and to help anyone having trouble with their pets or other animals! He could also act as a dunamis instructor!

Character Name: Rapunzel
Canon: Disney's Tangled/Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure
Brief Personality: The most sheltered, optimistic, friendly and curious teenager. Basically. She has some lingering issues from being so sheltered, namely in how much she is still learning and seeing/experiencing for the first time, and in how conflicted she can be regarding Gothel in the aftermath of her abuse. She's slowly gaining more confidence in herself and her decisions though. Rapunzel canonically has a fondness for kids and because she wants them to have freedom and the confidence to speak up so they have a say, she....kind of lets them walk all over her, but. Yeah, she's more or less literal sunshine in how happy and friendly and optimistic she is though.
Appearance: The main thing that makes Rapunzel stick out is probably the hair. There's seventy feet of blonde hair trailing behind her. Which is why she usually has it done up out of the way. That's also a neat reference for her default season two outfit as well, for anyone curious on her outfit she can probably most often be seen in.
Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both? Both is good. Rapunzel is good on the slice of life in there being some downtime moments in the series and all, plus, adventuring is what she is all about now she is free from her tower, so. Yes.
Current Activities/Developments: Helping out at the bakery because Snow left and all, that's one. Another obviously being dragging Eugene around and probably not entirely quite over being a little clingy still there after finally getting to see him again after months on her end here.
Future Developments: idk on the timing yet but. Proposal time/engagement. At some point? Eventually? Because yes. Also I really do keep saying this but I still want her to learn archery at some point. And with an eventual canon update, get her to sort through spoiler things in dealing with all of that.
Shipping/Romance: Nope. Not unless your name is Eugene Fitzherbert. (or spoilers: his real name I won't actually mention here but it is not actually Eugene.)
Seeking: Friends, allies, people who prob inevitably some will take advantage of her kindness? Someone to help train her? Maybe get her a bodyguard in replacing at least part of Cass's job? Someone to possibly figure taking Cass's place as her confidante and support, to keep an eye on her?
Offering: Best older sister type? Or just. Someone to drag wallflowers out to go exploring and do all the things together, Rapunzel is curious and enthusiastic enough for it. Rapunzel is open to befriending pretty much anyone. /gestures to the pub thugs and all....

Brief Personality: Shady and nonconforming idol boy who seems like he'd straight up sell you snake oil, but actually, he's the scientist telling you "no essential oils will not cure you" even if he might joke about certain items giving you luck.
Appearance: It's half past 8AM and I don't want to describe him. Here, though he's in his winter uniform (blue blazer and all) rather than his unit outfit.
Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Being as he has no fighting experience or anything like that, he's definitely more suited to more slice-of-life activities... But who would I be if I didn't throw my characters into some ~adventure, huh. He's the type of person who can't sit still and not explore somewhere in order to be up-to-date on all information possible, so if he can find someone solid to accompany on excursions outside of the city, you bet he's gonna go. All interesting and weird people are welcome to apply, he enjoys that type -
Current Activities/Developments: He's! Just arrived! So he's going to be a nosy bitch - I mean, settle in. He'll probably fall back on his lifelong trade of being a fortuneteller for money though - he has his crystal ball, so why not!! I'm debating on if I want to toplevel on the intro/mingle log rn, we'll see when I... actually have time to write... lmao.
Future Developments: I'm horrible... It's been years and my answer to this is still "I'll just go with the flow," I haven't character developed at all. More seriously, he'll probably work on controlling his thoughts and feelings so they don't just show up, as it were, and both performancy and Dunamis are things that'd catch his attention... Particularly performancy, as he is a dramatic little bitch.
Shipping/Romance: Romance with Natsume is very. It's possible, but you'll be trapped in "is he serious or is he just messing with me" limbo while he looks at his feelings from the side instead of head-on. He likes keeping people guessing, so he's really not against straight-up flirting with people - he tends to do so more with girls, albeit it feels pretty joking, but (looks at Ensemble Stars!) he isn't strictly against guys either going by some of his interactions with his closer peeps.
Seeking: (delivering another cop-out answer because I never change) Anything really! Though yes, I do have a weakness for the excited/friendly sunshine puppy type. Look... Friendly & Grumpy pairs are just my thing.

Brief Personality: A chill DJ who loves to party and have fun with his friends. He's super loyal to them and he's quite kind, willing to help others in need. He's also a terrible liar and a total dork.
Appearance: He wears a red basketball cap, glasses, several bracelets including this one and has a pair of orange headphones he hangs around his neck.
Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both would be just fine. He just got here after all.
Current Activities/Developments: Again, he just got here so once he knows what's up, he's gonna need a place to stay as well as just get his bearings and settle down.
Future Developments: Definitely plan on having him do stuff as Carapace, as well as having him figure out an instrument he could learn to play. Since he can't exactly DJ if mixing tables haven't been invented yet (and he's not super brainy like Max so...).
Shipping/Romance: Considering that he has a canon girlfriend at the moment... Unless he somehow develops a crush through unnatural means
Like say having someone die in his arms before then dying himself like I did with him in my other game, it's unlikely that he'll be interested in cheating on his girlfriend.One-sided crushes on him I'm a-okay with.

Brief Personality: Jedi in the streets, total smart-ass in the... even mildly comfortable relationships? Seriously though, he's kind of warmly and politely aloof, in a mildly friendly way, on first blush but with any kind of familiarity his sense of humor leans toward the biting and insulting, and also he wants to adopt and help everyone.
Appearance: Average height, red hair, blue eyes, beard. The most striking thing is that he dresses like, uh, a Jedi and that his grooming is immaculate and leaning toward the downright uptight.
Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Honestly, right now what I would like is for him to meet people and settle into the environment - so slice of life. He'll be very inclined toward adventure fairly shortly, but this month he just needs to recover (some), and get used to the place and the people in it.
Current Activities/Developments: He's just arrived and he's deeply traumatized, though he's him so it won't show much. I think his big goal, beyond meeting people and figuring things out, is going to be some kind of low pressure job that will both enable him to earn some money and meet more people.
Future Developments: He is, once he's familiar with the city and gotten his feet under him, really, really going to want to explore the world. All of it, probably, though from a home base. He's also going to likely end up highly drawn to more dangerous tasks.
Shipping/Romance: As much as I love shipping, it ain't going to happen right now. He does enjoy banter and flirting a lot, even if he basically never realizes that it's actually flirting. That hasn't changed at all.
Seeking: Right now, he just wants to meet people. Maybe make some friends. Find distraction and get him out of his head and into the here and now. For me that means all CR is good CR.
Offering: He is totally the doting uncle type. If someone needs practical help, advice, or an ear, he is a good person to provide it. He's also able to sense other Jedi, and when people are hurting (even physically) if that's a thing you want.
Not Interested In/Avoiding: Nothing short of maiming and death that I can think of.

Brief Personality: Huge lesbian. Very charming. Seems to always do emotions either not enough or way too intensely. Great at acting cool when she's just a five year old deep down, really.
Appearance: Haruka's gender is very ambiguous from her appearance! From her hair and face to the way she dresses, it can be pretty hard to guess whether she's a guy or a girl. Anyone is free to assume either about her, especially since Haruka would probably not even bother to correct them until maybe sometime about five interactions in... (Also so beautiful she can make flower petals appear out of nowhere in canon.)
Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: I've mostly done the former up until now, so I'm rather down for the latter! Not that I'd say no to any slice of life stuff if anyone is interested in doing something normal with Haruka. c: She's getting kind of restless though.
Current Activities/Developments: Right now she's mostly busy babysitting crystal!Usagi. She still has free time though since they're taking turns watching her in shifts, but her thoughts will probably be with Usagi like.. all the time regardless because Haruka is a big dumb overprotective idiot. And also doesn't trust this place to not turn things weird while Usagi is like this.
Future Developments: Right now nothing in particular, I'm just seeing where things take Haruka!
Shipping/Romance: I'm 100% down for flirting. I mean, if a character is female then Haruka is bound to flirt with her at some point down the line, this is just how these things work.. But Haruka is already in a very committed relationship (despite the constant flirting, yes), so I'm not really looking for any full on ships.
Seeking: I'd love CR that can drag Haruka out of her shell! Despite looking like she handles every single social interaction flawlessly (for the most part, anyway) Haruka really sucks at like.. actually trusting people and letting them in despite surface-level stuff. She's just never had non-sailor soldier friends, how does this work, how does anyone do it...
Offering: Haruka loves acting like the cool aunt in a doting-on-younger-girls-and-teasing-younger-guys sort of way. But she's also good with acting more mature with older CR, especially when situations call for it!

Brief Personality: Kind, compassionate, literally loves the entire world and would do anything for it. Also pretty cagey though. She is incredibly affectionate and appreciative of all who are here and all creation in general, and genuinely happy to interact with those she meets... Pyra is also highly observant, so. Prepare for her to stare at any of your unique traits or, like, aura or whatever. And then probably compliment you. AAAAlso she is part of three-split personality. Mythra might be jumping into to mentally comment from Pyra's perspective about whatever seems significant to her, but at this time won't be interacting with others.
Appearance: A gif appeared! She's glowy and unnaturally warm, and it's good to note that she has crystals adorning her, and there's one right upon her chest. If your character is sensitive at all to energy or magic or metadimensional and/or divine power, they might pick up on it. More info is here on her permissions, but also? That crystal can easily be ignored.
Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Uhh I'm just getting started so I'm trying to figure out what would be suited best!
Current Activities/Developments: She is new... She'll need to find a place to stay, otherwise she'll just sleep outside in the cold somewhere or go into the woods.

Honestly Pyra is probably going to be very wary of this world because she had not been created with emotions to begin with... It's kind of horrifying. Maybe someone can eventually tell her that she should feel them as she wishes, idk.

Tsun.Stoic, grumpy alien robot. Underneath all of that is an idealistic person who has a lot of faith. Melt the ice exterior though and you'll get a loyal, protective, and overall decent friend. A Decepticon with a heart of gold.Appearance: A giant robot standing at 7'5, can transform into an armored car, and his metal/armor is colored blue and white. He has another form he occasionally uses for outing purposes- his human avatar form/holoform. His avatar is much smaller and shorter than SW himself, standing at only 5'3, and usually wears punk-ish clothes. Also, his avatar is now wearing a pink bow tied in a ponytail as a remembrance for someone.

Current Activities/Developments: Mostly keeping up with his game project and other projects, and normal stuff in general (visiting cafes, works, etc). Last month was an important month for him as he's officially in a relationship

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both with a lean towards ADVENTURE
Current Activities/Developments: Living a good peaceful life. Hanging around on people's rooftops. Hunting beasts and monsters. She got caught with the werewolf flu + mistletoe last month, so she's gonna pretend nothing like that ever happened.
Future Developments: Going with the flow and building up CR. Her canon has something big happening, so she'll gonna get a canon update later.
Shipping/Romance: She bites~
Seeking: All sorts of CR! Positive or negative! People to go hunting with her, people who love children, children, people who like her charm points (the cat features), people who wouldn't laugh at her wish.

Brief Personality: You ever get so bored you despair the entire world and make your classmates kill each other for a worldwide viewing audience? No? Well, Junko did. She's had her share of outbursts here, but for the most part acts kind of normal, keeping most of that under the surface until it's time to act out again.
Appearance: It's about the same as what you see in her icons. I've brought this up before, but while her style might vary a little due to the setting, she still wants to be recognizable as Junko Enoshima in case more people from home show up. It's more fun that way.
Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both? Her primary motivation's despair and she can get that anywhere, so I pretty much try to throw her into whatever's going on.
Current Activities/Developments: Last month was...a month, so she's dealing with not having to deal with a despair blizzard and things suddenly being furry and all that. She's also definitely looking ahead to Selenium because she's gross and the time of grief and remembrance and all that is her favorite.
Future Developments: Selenium!!!!! And also Junko's been kind of in a weird place lately. Everything's going good, so there's a definite thought to backsliding horribly somehow into some sort of horrible despair thing. But she'd like to despair over not doing that for a little while longer, so she'll be doing a couple things to try and stave that off. Whether it actually amounts to anything will probably depend on how the next couple months go since fourth wall could derail any attempt at self restraint she has, but we'll see!
Shipping/Romance: She's taken, but flirting and crushes and things like that are fine!
Seeking: Pretty much anything! Junko's been here a long time, but I'm always interested in picking up new CR since there's always some sort of new character dynamic to play with.
Offering: Junko's kinda malleable or chameleon like in that you can plug her into anything and she can change to match it, so she can be a friend, an enemy, some weird person to talk to, and so on and so forth. If you're looking for something, we can probably find a way to make it work!

Brief Personality: A wise and determined knight who feels kinship with monsters more than man. Driven by pride and resentment, he says love means nothing; but he was a man who valued friendship. Now he's a schemer who's easy to annoy. But at least he's well-spoken?
Appearance: He's short with long blond hair and noticeably wears perfume.
Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both! What Jasper wanted back home was a vacation; now he's getting that stress relief and finding the forgotten parts of himself. He enjoys sipping tea and shooting the breeze. But being intellectually curious, he might involve himself in adventures and exploration simply out of boredom.
Current Activities/Developments: Living a good life. Going on holidays. Trying to hide the fact he's a powerful demon while acting notably sympathetic to the local monster population.
Future Developments: Has a canonical interest in fashion. I might do something with that.
Shipping/Romance: Not seeking it but open to organic developments. Jasper's too preoccupied with an old companion from home to form anything resembling a real relationship. Characters can flirt but he'll likely shut them down. He's also 36 years old so I'm not interested in age differences, etc.
Seeking: Now that he's made friends I'd like to get his demonic nature out in the open so if anyone would like to discover that...
Offering: Jasper has a temper but follows a twisted code that values honesty and brotherhood. He'll bring honesty and equal respect to the table. Friends could realize this event is a good way to branch into discussing his past. Is also a gigantic nerd.

Appearance: He mostly wears dark colors and well Jedi Robes. He carries around a lightsaber which when ignited has a blue glowy blade and makes a vroom vroom noise or something like that. One of his arms is also metal because he lost his real one but he usually wears a glove over it.
Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: He needs to meet people. Show him the world and strange creatures that are normal anywhere else.
Current Activities/Developments: He's just settling in right and trying to convince himself he's not just having a really long dream.
Future Developments: After he's had his meltdown over discovering his future and gets over it, he'll probably try and help people that are in need.
