Plot and CR With Me: September
Welcome to Empatheias' plotting and CR meme! Please fill out the form below with all of the necessary information. Then go forth and reply to others, plot, make friends, have shenanigans!
The Plot and CR meme will be posted on the first of each month, and will be posted once the intro posts have been posted, and again during the mid-month announcement. We highly encourage everyone to check the post from time to time, even if a week has passed. You never know what kind of opportunities you could be missing!

Canon: Steven Universe
Brief Personality: A good-natured young lad who wants to befriend everyone, but he also carries his fair share of angst and problems.
Appearance: This is what he looks like and how he most commonly dresses. He's very small and looks like a child (around eight years old physically) despite actually being a teenager. And the most distinctive thing about his appearance is a pink gem that he has in place of his belly button, though that’s usually covered by his shirt. Also he’s sometimes accompanied by a large pink lion!
Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both! Steven enjoys hanging around and engaging in slice-of-life shenanigans, but he still wants to answer calls to adventure and to do what he can to help those who need it!
Current Activities/Developments: He hasn't been up to much lately! I didn't get around to doing anything with him for the event, but he was probably helping with the ghost problem in the background. He's also been befriending Aku, the Shapeshifting Master of Darkness!
Future Developments: Steven Universe The Movie drops tomorrow, which will have some influence on Steven's future. He may end up getting updated to it as early as next month, so this month may be your last chance to interact with Steven while he's tiny! I keep on meaning to do a network post from him, and I may finally get around to it this time - it will be about trying to get others into the Spirit Morph Saga!
Shipping/Romance: None here! I only really ship Steven with one person from his canon and don’t really have any interest in cross-canon shipping him. Age appropriate characters are still allowed to have one-sided crushes on him, however.
Seeking: I'm open to most kinds of CR! Other kids/teens, fellow cinnamon rolls, grumpy/antisocial friends whom he can try to win over. He's also been looking for more people to play music with!
Offering: A very energetic young friend who wants to help anyone with their troubles! He also has a bunch of unique abilities that could play into threads, such as healing spit (which has been shown to cure things like bad eyesight and broken legs) and the ability to enter people's dreams when he's asleep (sometimes unintentionally).
Not Interested In/Avoiding: Subject matter that is too dark/bleak/graphic and sexual content. Mostly the kind of stuff that would break Steven and/or is too difficult to thread him dealing with. Feel free to run things by me if you’re not sure if something crosses a line!

Gundam Tanaka
Canon: Dangan Ronpa
Brief Personality: A chuunibyou/edgelord who tries to hide his caring side and often acts condescending to others, but he is also great with all sorts of animals and has the potential to be a loyal friend.
Appearance: This is his general appearance and what he usually wears. He has his ridiculous hair, his faked heterochromia (the differently colored eye is a contact lens), a Hell Hound Earring, pale skin, no apparent eyebrows, a scar across one eye (apparently it's a tattoo) and one arm that is always bandaged. He also always wears his scarf, which usually contains four hamsters - or rather, the Four Dark Devas of Destruction.
Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both! Gundam's ridiculous and over-the-top manner of doing things can make even slice-of-life feel like an adventure. But he also does like to go out on actual adventures, mostly when there's interesting animals involved.
Current Activities/Developments: He’s mostly been keeping up with his normal stuff (looking after various animals, honing his dunamis, occasionally hanging out with actual human beings) and has been more standoffish towards others. He also helped with the ghost crisis and leaned on his negarive feelings for it.
Future Developments: I’m partly going with the flow and trying to build up CR with him! He may end up seeing one of his classmates from home for the first time in over a year, and there's also a chance that Gundam could get a canon update this month if I can finally get on some canon review for him. He'll also have an interest in some of the tasks - specifically the ones about looking after sheep and leopard rays!
Shipping/Romance: As an edgelord, he likes to pretend that he’s above having shippy feelings than others. However, he can and has developed feelings for other beings. Depending on the development, he could potentially be open to shipping with others. It would just most likely be slow-burn and with Gundam being difficult before accepting it.
Seeking: Various kinds of friends! People to be baffled by him, people to play along with him, fellow animal lovers and/or people who need help with animals. Light-hearted rivals and enemies, fellow chuuni edgelords, are also fun.
Offering: Someone who will annoy and/or entertain your character with how ridiculously he handles everything! But also a possible loyal (while still eccentric!) friend in the making. Someone who can introduce your character to a lot of animals, and to help anyone having trouble with their pets or other animals! He could also act as a dunamis instructor!
Not Interested In/Avoiding: Not much that comes to mind! Just don’t hurt his hamsters, and I’d prefer to generally avoid situations for him where he’s helpless to prevent animal cruelty.

Christine | Ignis & Terra

Canon: Final Fantasy XV
Brief Personality: Intelligent and well-spoken, with a wide sarcastic streak and a love of puns and cutting remarks. He is a mom friend through-and-through, and even following the loss of his sight he is concerned with the well-being of his friends and family before his own. He is a strategic mind with a keen interest in learning more about this world’s history and how it might be restored. He is loyal to an absolute fault, and takes his promises and responsibilities extremely seriously.
Appearance: 6’3”, lean, athletic build, always impeccably dressed and well put-together. He wears dark or otherwise opaque glasses to hide his eyes since his injury, but there are still scars that can be seen peeking out above and below the frames, as well as a scar across his nose and on his lower lip. He has floofy cockatoo hair that he somehow makes work for him, although now that he’s a bit older he’s grown it out some and tends to wear it in a pompadour. Image here!
Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both, but currently leaning more towards adventure! He’s basically Daredevil now, so let him kick knives at monsters despite not being able to see them.
Current Activities/Developments: Continued management of From the Hearth, and currently dealing with the fact that Noctis and Luna have both vanished after their wedding, though he’s doing so quietly and mostly privately. He’ll be wanting to keep himself very busy, so he’ll be looking for projects or other things of interest to fill up his non-Hearth hours. He’s lost a lot of significant CR over the last few months, in fact, so while he’s not one to brood openly or complain, he’s going back to his tried-and-true coping method of overworking himself half to death.
Future Developments: Things are very open at the moment! Ignis has definitely suffered the most as a result of RL difficulties, so while he doesn’t have anything immediate planned, that means there’s room for lots and lots of possibilities. He’s always had an interest in the plot-related events and is curious about the Arehtei artifacts that have been recovered during the last year, so he’ll be very invested in anything related that may come up going forward.
Shipping/Romance: He’s happily married and all set in this department!
Seeking: Friends, business associates (either other restaurateurs or fellow part-time hunters would qualify here), occasional hunting partners. Hearth Employees are always welcome, but especially right now, as a number of its long-term staff members have departed!
Offering: A coffee-fueled royal advisor with a passion for good food and employment opportunities aplenty for those who want to help further cultural exchange through cuisine. Or wait tables, their choice. He is also back into the action side of things, so if you want to see a blind man throw and kick daggers or wreck stuff with dunamis, he’s your guy. Additionally, if you need someone to remind you to eat your damn vegetables, he’ll do that, too. Terra Branford
Canon: Final Fantasy VI
Brief Personality: Friendly, but a little distant and disconnected in the sense that a lot of reasonably mundane things seem very new to her. She’s very curious and eager to learn about the world around her, as well as compassionate towards other. She has an interest in helping those who might not be able to help themselves. Her history includes being raised as a ward of the Empire and being forced to serve in the imperial military as a Magitek Elite, to the point where she was robbed of her memories and free will so that her magic could be weaponized without resistance. Rather than let herself be chained to the past, she’s more interested in looking ahead and being the best person she can be moving forward as she makes a life for herself.
Appearance: 5’3” with green hair and violet/blue eyes, looks like she might weigh about 100 lbs soaking wet with a rock in her pocket. Her clothing tends to be very colorful (she likes red and pink, especially) and almost always has her sword on her person. Image here!
Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Even split between both! She loves adventure, but SOL stuff is also fun for her because so many everyday things are still novel, even after more than a year here.
Current Activities/Developments: She quite enjoyed Helisium at the end of July and was present during the excursion to retrieve Elios’ chalice, although this wound up handwaved due to RL. At the moment, she has a pretty clean slate going forward. Currently seeking a more stable way of sustaining herself!
Future Developments: She’s gained a lot of confidence over the last several months, and is much more open than she once was, having conquered the worst of her shyness. She’ll continue being an active hunter and jumping at the chance to go on various expeditions, but more than anything she would like to find some kind of steady work right in Verens— she previously was afraid to let herself do anything combat-oriented because she wanted to move away from her past, but she’s interested in perhaps teaching others with various abilities (potentially similar to hers) how to use and master them. She is also well-equipped to offer fencing lessons to anyone who may want them.
Shipping/Romance: Terra is happily taken and spends many of her free hours with a handsome librarian.
Seeking: Friends and acquaintances of all sorts! Fellow magic users are especially great, since she’s been ostracized for her ability to use magic in her own world and is always thrilled to meet someone else who can make use of it, and loves to hear about how magic works in other worlds in general.
Offering: A warm and determined magical girl who is doing her best to make a life for herself as she aims to discover her strengths and passions. She is a loyal and compassionate friend, a dependable hunting buddy, and also interested in tasting every dish and dessert Verens has to offer if anyone would like to join her in that particular venture.

Character Name: Ritsuka Fujimaru
Canon: Fate/Grand ORder
Brief Personality: Friendly, snarky, nerdy, and probably too forgiving for her own good. Also has a slight tendency to put others' needs/interests before her own. Somehow doesn't see herself as a hero despite everything she's done.
Appearance: This! Though she's definitely gotten some alternative normal clothes (well, normal by local fashion standards, she thinks the steampunk aesthetic is pretty cool and so doesn't go out of her way to find 'normal' things by her world's standards) that she wears fairly often. But if she expects to be needing to do things with the Servants for any reason or needs a little extra protection, she'll have the uniform! Also, of note are those markings on the back of her right hand: they're always visible and look like this, and they probably ping as pretty highly magical to anyone who can sense such things, too!
Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: ALL THE THINGS. Ritsuka is ICly interested in working on trying to save the world and all, but I'm definitely up for shenanigans and fluff and what have you, too!
Current Activities/Developments: She helped Elios during last month's event, which was good! And helped offset the damage her confidence had suffered due to a certain conversation earlier in the month. Otherwise she's mostly doing the same as usual, working, dunamis practice, wyvern riding, archery lessons, reading comics... And trying to find out more about how to fix this world whenever the chance arises.
Future Developments: Nothing big at the moment. Ritsuka is starting to sloooowly drift in a direction that will probably eventually cause an alignment shift, but it's still not very noticeable so far. Otherwise I have no solid plans, so anything goes?
Shipping/Romance: WELL the biggest barrier to her possibly dating someone is now effectively out of the picture, but she'll still be a bit reluctant for other reasons. Still, though, feel free to try anyway! Especially since when she next canon updates in a few months or so she'll uh. be a bit more preoccupied and thus probably harder to convince to allow herself romantic feelings...
Seeking: Pretty much anything! Ritsuka will try to befriend everyone up into and including former (occasionally even current) enemies, so there's that. I'm definitely fine with attempts to deliberately mess with her too, just keep in mind the general warning that the Chaldea Servants will probably react poorly to someone causing their Master harm. But if you're fine with that have at. More friends are always a plus, especially since a couple of the people she's befriended or started to befriend have since recently dropped. :(
Offering: A snarky, nerdy teenager who constantly chooses to give the benefit of the doubt and see the best in people, and who will forgive you and give you a second chance as many times as necessary for you to prove yourself. Alternatively, a teenage girl who's recently spent a good year and a half being a vital part of a difficult and desperate fight to save humanity from an impossibly powerful foe and who definitely has scars from the experience under her cheerful exterior.

Canon: Tales of Symphonia (after Game 1)
Brief Personality: Stubborn, hot-headed, acts without thinking, also blurts out what on her mind occasionally, loyal to her friends and others she cares about, and will protect even an enemy if she thinks they're in danger.
Appearance: 5'5", 106 pounds, curvy (top-heavy), has purple hair and tends to wear a combination of purples and pinks. Usually a short kimono with a pink obi with a huge bow in the back. Like this.
Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: She really hasn't seen too much adventure lately. No hunts or anything, and I'd like to get her back into that.
Current Activities/Developments: She recently got married and is very much still in the "honeymoon stage". Which is going to be very interesting since Elios--her Arehtei--is influencing the "love" side of the coin.
Between that, she's working on getting her dojo open. It's something she decided a while ago and is now seeing it come to fruition. The Igaguri style will soon hit Verens. (And she's probably going to partner with Roku and his school. :D)
She hasn't found out that Yuan is in Verens, and when that happens the fallout is probably going to be felt all over.
Future Developments: Sheena is going to have to mature even more when she opens her dojo. She won't be able to let her anger run rampant or react without thinking. This is probably going to be interesting as she tries to channel her inner grandpa.
Shipping/Romance: Totally married! Not looking! :)
Seeking: Frands, students, some task partners. Maybe a sparring partner or two. And look for more summoners.
Offering: She acts without thinking, but she also a caring person, who is basically the "mom" of any group. If someone needs help, she'll readily give it--even if they don't ask her directly.
Also, she is a very loyal friend. So much so, that she will do whatever she can to protect her friends and loved ones--even if it's sometimes from themselves.
Not Interested In/Avoiding: I don't mind putting her in fights, but I'm not looking to have her maimed. (Dying is different since you can come back from that.)

Rokurou Rangetsu
Canon: Tales of Berseria
Brief Personality: He's a very laidback daemon with a rather "positive" attitude in the sense that he doesn't sweat the small stuff too much and just rolls with most things. As a war daemon, fighting is pretty much his life and what he enjoys most, with the sword being his
one true lovebelovedfavored weapon. He excels in dual short swords but isn't too shabby with the greatsword, either, and in fact now dual wields those, too. Like I said, sword nut. He follows the role of the "samurai" fairly well, living up to those codes and his family name. Can be super loyal and supportive, will repay any debt he owes, will look out for the younger crowd, and just overall a nice and fun guy to be around, especially at a bar. Loves that alcohol. He can also be a little bit of a fun jokester and a troll. But hidden beneath that nice guy exterior is a dark ball of rage that only surfaces when he's really into his fight. He doesn't like being interrupted. Period. A lot of that rage comes from his hatred for his older brother, but a lot of that has been resolved. He's otherwise pretty chill. (Except around his brother—there is no chill.)Appearance: Even though Rokurou will probably find standard Verens clothing, if possible he'll be sporting his usual style of traditional samurai attire: kimono, hakama, the arm guard, and wielding three swords (great sword on the back, dual short swords behind). Here's his character design as reference!
The real interesting part of his look to note is his hair, specifically that giant chunk over the right side of his face. That's because it's covering his daemon eye, with the black markings running down his neck. Now the fun part about his daemon eye is that only those with special spiritual/supernatural abilities, are nonhuman, OR aligned with Thras can see it. Otherwise, he looks completely normal. (Side note, the hair thing is a stylistic choice, he honestly doesn't care if people see his eye or not.)
I'm pretty lax about the visibility thing, so even if someone makes a mistake, I'll roll with it. Rokurou doesn't care, neither do I. Blame it on different world shenanigans /jazzhands.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: While I like both, adventure/exploration type of plots are better suited for Rokurou's type. He is definitely going to go and check out all the new places, fight whatever comes at him, and have a grand old time with it. Can definitely expect him signing up for the various monster hunts every month. But he'd also be down for any opportunity to just relax and drink. Maybe fish. And turn it into a challenge because that's more fun, right? I wouldn't mind throwing him on some fun expedition, though! Explore the world, fight new types of monsters and dealing with emotions sounds like a fun challenge.
Current Activities/Developments: There's been a lot since the last time I posted, but for CR purposes he has taken over The Crescent School, a combat and weapons training school for all ages. Last month I made a network post regarding it, but I'll have a semi-open log set at the school for anyone also interested in it. Might have some other tasks, we'll see. Otherwise, definitely open to anything o7
Future Developments: THERE'S STUFF GOING ON WITH HIS BROTHER so that's. Going to be fun to deal with along with some other close CR stuff— That and the school thing are on my immediate radar, but otherwise MORE FIGHTS, MORE SURFACE EXPEDITIONS, MORE THINGS??

Shipping/Romance: Against all odds, the war daemon's heart has been tamed by none other than Serah Farron. ...Yeah it's complicated, but they are officially dating so alas, this is no longer an option. People are still free to try and flirt with him, though, he'll just be like, "Flattered, but nah."
Seeking: Not really all that picky. Anyone who can click well with him to get into random hijinks, drink buddies, fighting partners or rivals. I'm even cool if someone wants to go after him, he'll just deal with it (maybe even have fun with it depending on how it goes). Kids are totally fine—he's a great brother figure! (Best role model? Questionable, but he's still fun!!)
Offering: He can be a good older brother figure and supportive guy, so if anyone needs that he could work fairly well. Looking for a sparring partner or maybe want to learn how to fight (especially with a sword)? HE'S YOUR GUY.
Not Interested In/Avoiding: I'm open to a lot of things, but if there's something hardcore or questionable, just hit me up and we can talk!

Helios
Canon: Sailor Moon
Brief Personality: In terms of demeanor, Helios is your all around nice guy. He's polite, gentle, kind, helpful, and given his real age, he has ample wisdom and maturity, always ready to give advice or reassurances if needed. He is patient, tolerant, but he isn't a pushover. He has strong morals and sense of righteousness and justice. Against evil and any threats or danger, he will stand up to fight with all he has. But despite his age and wisdom, he's always lived in Elysion and thus naturally curious about everything outside of his realm. He knows about what's going on the surface, but never experienced it himself. Because of his polite demeanor, he can also be naturally charming without realizing it, but he can also be a little playful. tl;dr he's a pure cinnamon roll.
Appearance: Slim, fluffy white hair, has a red jewel on his forehead. Oh, and he can sometimes appear as a golden horned, white pegasus.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Helios is a little more toward slice of life since he's not exactly great for adventure-type things. He does have a lot of healing abilities and can play the role of "white mage priest" well, so if someone needs support in that way, he's your guy. He can also enter dreams, so if anyone is having trouble sleeping or bad nightmares, he can help with that!
Current Activities/Developments: Currently he's helping around Usagi's mansion, volunteering at the library, and help at Noel's stables looking after the chocobos. He is slowly learning to live more like an average human and is still constantly fascinated by new discoveries and ways of life.
I do plan to have an open log with him, and some tasks I'm looking into are the sheep watching (GT0904), sand ray poaching (ST0903), and maybe the musical (ST0904). I'll probably also have some other things, but that's the current set at the moment.
Future Developments: Mostly just looking to continue having Helios learn to be more like a normal person and mature in a different way. He may be "wise," but he's still rather youthful and inexperienced. He'll be moving out of the Sailor Senshi mansion to live on his own as part of this growth. I am also interested in learning how to wield a rapier because it would be cool, okay. He needs to learn some offensive, stuff. He can already produce special protective charms from both his powers and dunamis, too, so will probably work to try and hand those out to people interested in them.

Seeking: ANYTHING. Be it being a support pillar or trying to help someone deal with their problems or someone willing to teach Helios with fighting and such. Despite being friendly, he's not naive, either, so negative CR is also a plus.
Offering: Helios is more of a "support" character in every sense of the term, so...basically what I said above, herp.
Not Interested In/Avoiding: Extreme violence would be the one thing I'm a little hesitant to put him through. But I say a little. Honestly I'm rather easily swayed if it's interesting—
Anything Else: Helios is secretly a perv.
Megan; Roxas and Roman Torchwick

Roxas | Kingdom Hearts
Canon: Kingdom Hearts
Brief Personality: Roxas is the type of guy who tends to keep to himself. He's a bit of a grump and rather stoic, but it doesn't take long for him to break out of that shell and show that he's a caring, determined individual. He's got some baggage but he's also been in Verens long enough to chill out about it.
Appearance: Roxas is best noted by his spikey blond hair, blue eyes, and fondness for checkerboards. He's a little taller than when he started, but still on the short side.
Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Adventure! Roxas has had a lot of slice of life stuff so I'd love to get him out and and exploring!
Current Activities/Developments: Mostly Roxas has been catching up with his cast and living his life. He's gotten into carpentry recently and has been steadily improving in that. He recently celebrated his 5 year anniversary in the game as well, which is kind of mind-boggling on a number of levels. He didn't do much for it, but it was observed.
Future Developments: Given that he's reached 5 years, Roxas has managed to resolve most things going on in his life, and I'm eager to have him see what's beyond that. Exploration's going to play into that, I think, as well as exploring new hobbies and opportunities.
Shipping/Romance: I'm open to it.
Seeking: Friends, pals, exploration buddies, rivals, teachers, people who can teach him new things!
Offering: A loyal friend, a travelling companion, a rival, he's open to a lot of things
Not Interested In/Avoiding: Open to pretty much everything.
Roman Torchwick | RWBY
Canon: RWBY
Brief Personality: Roman is not the most pleasant of individuals. He's kind of a jerk, egotistical, kind of racist. However, he's also easily drawn into stupid arguments and shenanigans. He's kind of a dum dum in that way.
Appearance: He's tall with bright red hair and rarely seen without his signature bowler hat and white coat.
Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Adventure! Roman needs to get out there more and needs more people to shake him up with stupid stunts.
Current Activities/Developments: Roman's looking to steal and airship and has managed to grab a few people for that. I'll probably be posting an open log for that in the near future. He'll be in hiding afterwards but will probably reveal himself eventually. He's kind of had a taste of being a nice individual due to an event and actively rejects that to return to his life of crime.
Future Developments: Again, Roman is basically being dragged out of his criminal ways kicking and screaming so he'll be trying to bury himself deep into crime going forward. Anyone who wants to help with that or drag him out of it, please do!
Shipping/Romance: Could happen, but he's also kind of hung up on a girl back home. Who he should probably talk about to someone. Or someone just tell him Neo's okay.
Seeking: All kinds! Friends, crime buddies, shenanigan pals! Drag this dum dum out for things.

Brief Personality:
Cheerful, compassionate and wise, but also not above tough love, manipulation, or (still cheerfully) beating the hell outta you, if you deserve it.
Appearance:
Delicately pretty, in her early 30's. She has long, rosegold-colored hair, usually kept in a ponytail (often adorned with flowers), with two tendrils framing her face. Tends to wear fairly proper Victorian styles in ladylike pastels. Despite the tendencies of Steampunk fashion, she will most likely not ever wear a corset on the outside of her clothes. (This is because all Rainsworths share a Dominatrix streak, and she prefers to keep the fact that she favors black leather private.)
Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Shelly will probably tend toward slice of life with some light adventure thrown in. In her own world, she had to keep things fairly Proper, to uphold her noble family's reputation. She doesn't have to worry about that, here, so I'd like to give her some opportunities to let her hair down. She's got delicate health, though, and is prone to fainting if she overexerts herself, so there's a limit to how much adventuring she can realistically do.
Current Activities/Developments:
Shelly is a recent arrival to Verens, coming in right after her death in canon. She was quickly plucked up by her only other canonmate, Kevin Darling (formerly Regnard). Though she misses her old life and family, she has been settling in at the house and happily adopting his delightful family as her own. She's also started working at the Golden Afternoon bakery/teahouse, helping in the kitchen and doing waitress-type things. So far, she's adapting to life in Verens like a duck to water. (She will also apparently be beating up someone named Jecht, at some point in the future, because he is bullying Kieran Duffy, who she has also adopted.)
Future Developments:
At the moment, I'm mostly playing it by ear, letting Verens rub off on her and seeing how whatever CR she makes may change her. Answering the question: what is Shelly like, now that she doesn't have to be Lady Shelly?
Shipping/Romance:
Well, it's canon that Xerxes Break (the guy Kevin would've become, if he'd never ended up in Verens) loved Shelly deeply. I tend to go with the love being mutual. She's living in Kevin's house, she's truly fine with this version of the character never having met her, and is genuinely happy for the life and love he's found in Verens. (She likes his husband Bulat a lot, too.) However, she can't help but be reminded of Break, and is dealing with missing him as privately as she can, in an effort to keep things from getting awkward for anyone else. So, she's really not in any shape to be jumping into a romance, right now. Later on, though, it could be a possibility.
Seeking: Right now, all the friendships.
Offering: If your character needs a mom-friend, Shelly's yer girl.
Not Interested In/Avoiding: As above, no romance right now, at least not if you want it requited. Can't do heavy adventure, and also probably nothing battle-heavy. She could project a terrifying aura even before arriving here, and can knock a guy clear across the room using nothing but a paper fan, but NGL if you put her in a fight requiring actual stamina, she'd probably crumple like a used dixie cup.

Rapunzel

Canon: Disney's Tangled (including the series canon, which is her canon point and takes place after the film.)
Brief Personality: The most sheltered, optimistic, friendly and curious teenager. Basically. She has some lingering issues from being so sheltered, namely in how much she is still learning and seeing/experiencing for the first time, and in how conflicted she can be regarding Gothel in the aftermath of her abuse. She's slowly gaining more confidence in herself and her decisions though. Rapunzel canonically has a fondness for kids and because she wants them to have freedom and the confidence to speak up so they have a say, she....kind of lets them walk all over her, but. Yeah, she's more or less literal sunshine in how happy and friendly and optimistic she is though.
Also has the most horrifying ideas of holidays. Thanks for that added trauma she did not need, Gothel....
Appearance: The main thing that makes Rapunzel stick out is probably the hair. There's seventy feet of blonde hair trailing behind her. Which is why she usually has it done up out of the way. That's also a neat reference for her default season two outfit as well, for anyone curious on her outfit she can probably most often be seen in.
Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both? Both is good. Rapunzel is good on the slice of life in there being some downtime moments in the series and all, plus, adventuring is what she is all about now she is free from her tower, so. Yes.
Current Activities/Developments: Currently figuring her own studio space for her painting, doing commissions as requested and taking on a job with the school teaching art, on the job front. Otherwise, she keeps herself busy as usual with her hobbies, training with Aqua in keeping herself getting too rusty with fighting/defending herself. She's gotten better over time around the guilt of her actions with the whole Gem thing by now, more or less. Almost.
Future Developments: I want her to learn archery. And Dunamis.
Shipping/Romance: Nope. Not happening unless it is Eugene. The guy even proposed (even if she has initially turned him down because Reasons and feeling Trapped again and commitment and is she even ready for that yet).
Seeking: Friends, allies, people who prob inevitably some will take advantage of her kindness? Someone to help train her? Maybe get her a bodyguard in replacing at least part of Cass's job? Someone to possibly figure taking Cass's place as her confidante and support, to keep an eye on her?
Offering: Best older sister type? Or just. Someone to drag wallflowers out to go exploring and do all the things together, Rapunzel is curious and enthusiastic enough for it. Rapunzel is open to befriending pretty much anyone. /gestures to the pub thugs and all....

Appearance: Smol. Usually wears a black mage's robe along with the usual Verens wear underneath. She has a preference for shorts over skirts.
Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Slice of life!
Current Activities/Developments: She now works at the Golden Afternoon Bakery along with her family! People are free to move their tea-drinking habits over there instead, and it can be assumed that if they regularly visited her at Pleasantea Pastries, she let them know where she works now.
Future Developments: This month, I plan to canon update her to a point where she nearly dies. Her housemate is going to be able to provide healing, but this does mean that she'll come back a. having had a brush with death and b. back to eleven again. This is especially notable because she's turning 15 mentally this month, and it's going to be depressing to be back to even tinier yet again. I'm planning to make an action/network post about it once she returns to let everyone know, so that'll be the best chance for others to find out what's up.
Shipping/Romance: She's like 11~15ish (canon updates make this weird) so I'm only really up for puppy crushes around that age range.

Brief Personality: Calm, cool, and collected, Trey is a font of a seeker of knowledge. He'll share whatever information he has with anyone and everyone. Regardless of the situation.
Appearance: He's 6', blond, and blue-eyed, and is ALWAYS wearing his archer's guard and glove when not asleep. Image.
Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Before Trey arrived, he had quite a few adventures, and for the past year, he's done a mix of SOL and adventure. I'd like to get him involved more in checking out ruins and doing some hunts on the task board--he hasn't had too many chances to
show offuse his archery... :DCurrent Activities/Developments: He currently works at the library, and is rather upset at the destruction caused by GEM--though he really doesn't show it.
Future Developments: One of Trey's habits is to keep his emotions pretty much under wraps, but thanks to hanging out with Ritsuka and being affected by the fog, he is discovering that he doesn't always have to keep them so tightly reined. He is still serious, but he's letting his humor come out more and more--especially those he feels close to.
One thing, however, he hasn't faced: the crystallization of a friend while in Verens. He knows about it, but hasn't seen or experienced it, and since it means something a lot different on his world, he's definitely going to be thrown for a loop, and possibly spending long hours trying to reconcile the two being the same yet different.
These startling changes to his knowledge and ways of thinking are good for him, and I would LOVE to continue in this vein because it causes him to...well, stop and think about things.
Shipping/Romance: Although Trey isn't actively seeking, a girlfriend is not out of the question. :D
Seeking: Hunting partners, friends, *see above for romance*...
Offering: Trey is a solid friend, but he can also be a troll with his comments and tendency to keep talking/explaining things. He does sometimes tend to give clinical explanations without realizing that isn't exactly what the person wants, but he means well.
Not Interested In/Avoiding: Not really up for negative CR with him--yet. Maybe mildly annoyed by him CR? :D Also, I wouldn't mind having him spar with someone every know and then.
