Welcome to Empatheias' plotting and CR meme! Please fill out the form below with all of the necessary information. Then go forth and reply to others, plot, make friends, have shenanigans!

The Plot and CR meme will be posted on the first of each month, and will be posted once the intro posts have been posted, and again during the mid-month announcement. We highly encourage everyone to check the post from time to time, even if a week has passed. You never know what kind of opportunities you could be missing!

Near the end of the month, Usagi Tsukino will be having a sleepover! ... That she thought would just be between her and Webby. Unfortunately Webby is such a social disaster that she'll be extending the invitation for Usagi, and that means anyone's welcome to come! Even if you don't wind up tagging Webby before then, feel free to hand-wave the invite.

Expect the usual sleepover shenanigans - games, snacks, pillow fights, and whatever your character brings. Usagi's mansion-home is big enough to fit everyone! Feel free to use this to ask any questions (including questioning WEBBY WHY)

Brief Personality: Amethyst is both loud/brash and generally chill at the same time. She has a strong sense of humor, whereas she downplays the importance that close bonds have to her. She's not always comfortable with vulnerability, but she's always good for a fun time!

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: I will probably be skewing a lot more towards Slice of Life for the time being, as she continues to adjust to being here, and while she still maintains the mentality that this is one big vacation!
Current Activities/Developments: She's mostly still adjusting! Some "off-screen" and incomplete developments that have been discussed are that she's squatting living in an abandoned house with Lapis and Peridot, and working at Scrooge 87's saloon - but don't quote me on the first one.
Future Developments: I'm mostly going to want to focus on Amethyst cementing her place in Empatheias this month!
Shipping/Romance: She isn't exactly looking for romance, but she's not avoiding it, either, and I'm all for her and a female character developing something. I do have some things on this front that are looking interesting, and I'll be seeing how they develop!

Seeking: put more of a focus on positive CR, as it tends to be more fun for me, but negative CR is definitely still going to happen and that's fine! I really want Amethyst to find figures who she can identify with as peers, as the three characters she's with the most in her canon aren't quite on that same level with her, one way or another.
Offering: Amethyst is a good pal, and very loyal. She's great for bringing out the fun side of people who are uptight (well, sometimes, anyway) and for being a bit of a bad influence!
Not Interested In/Avoiding: I'm not particularly interested in anything too violence-heavy at this moment.

Brief Personality: Friendly, snarky, nerdy, and probably too forgiving for her own good. Also has a slight tendency to put others' needs/interests before her own. Somehow doesn't see herself as a hero despite everything she's done.
Appearance: This! Though she's definitely gotten some alternative normal clothes (well, normal by local fashion standards, she thinks the steampunk aesthetic is pretty cool and so doesn't go out of her way to find 'normal' things by her world's standards) that she wears fairly often. But if she expects to be needing to do things with the Servants for any reason or needs a little extra protection, she'll have the uniform! Also, of note are those markings on the back of her right hand; they're always visible and look like this; they probably ping as pretty highly magical to anyone who can sense such things, too!

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: ALL THE THINGS Ritsuka is ICly interested in working on trying to save the world and all, but I'm definitely up for shenanigans and fluff and what have you, too!
Current Activities/Developments: Ritsuka's been busy! More Servants showed up, she had fun at the festival, plus all her typical daily routine. On the other hand, she's been quietly feeling oddly lonely lately and of course hasn't mentioned this to anyone. Because she can't figure out why and thinks it's stupid to feel that way when obviously she has plenty of people she knows and cares for around! She's dealing with this by finding more things to do/throwing herself even more into what she already does, like dunamis practice, learning about the world, etc.
Future Developments: No major plans, BUT Ritsuka is definitely starting to gradually move in the direction that will possibly eventually cause an alignment switch, thanks to all the baggage of what happened in canon. So there's more negative emotions starting to creep in under the surface, although it's still not much and will be slow to increase for now. Beyond that though I'm pretty much wide open!
Shipping/Romance: ICly she's been recently called out on the fact that she's not letting herself consider romance as an option, so that's a thing. It's not stopping her from continuing to hold back so far, but she can't really get away with pretending that she's not limiting herself, possibly unfairly so, at least. So who knows! Mostly she's still just avoiding thinking about it, especially since she still has no clue what she wants out of a relationship anyway. BUT BY ALL MEANS don't let that stop you from trying anyway!

Seeking: Pretty much anything! Ritsuka will try to befriend everyone up into and including former (occasionally even current) enemies, so there's that. I'm definitely fine with attempts to deliberately mess with her too, just keep in mind the general warning that the Chaldea Servants will probably react poorly to someone causing their Master harm. But if you're fine with that have at. SHE ALSO NEEDS MORE ACTUAL FRIENDS like that she can talk to about things without feeling like she's weirding them out with, well, everything about her canon.
Offering: A snarky, nerdy teenager who constantly chooses to give the benefit of the doubt and see the best in people, and who will forgive you and give you a second chance as many times as necessary for you to prove yourself. Alternatively, a teenage girl who's recently spent a good year and a half being a vital part of a difficult and desperate fight to save humanity from an impossibly powerful foe and who definitely has scars from the experience under her cheerful exterior.

Brief Personality: Glitch's main traits can be summed up into one sentence; Trash child with a heart of gold...under a lot trash. Rude, snide, and distrustful of everyone. He grew up in a pretty harsh environment around people with the mindset of survival of the fittest and always believes people have ulterior motives. However, he gives off the angry teen vibe to see if people are willing to stay and if they are, for what reasons. When you gain his trust he will do just about anything for you even MURDER. But it's a long steady train to get on that route of friendship.

However, if you're a bitty aka a kid, he shows a far softer side. He likes kids and is automatically protective of them and will do just about anything to keep them safe, since no one did for him.

Otherwise, once you get to know him he can be pretty good humoured if in the sarcastic sense and jovial.

Really, he's a soft boi deep down but it's so repressed that he's angry boi now. This is a direct quote from my roommate.
Appearance: Glitch is a fifteen year old boy about 5'4 in height. He's definitely very skinny looking but having spent time in Emp last time he gained weight. He probably lost all that weight though having come back from his world so he's backing to looking on the verge of unhealthy thin. He's got dark brown skin, with bright blue eyes, his hair is dark and has often been said to look blue. He wears the same grey sweater with the sleeves pushed up to his elbows, with worn out dark pants and leather boots that go up close to his knees.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Glitch is for both. He's never known a day in his life that wasn't full of work and being stuck in the same place. Emp is his chance to explore and actually have free time. They'll get involved in big events if it nets him something (which usually it can). He tends to spend a lot of his time reading, or trying out new things or just taking an adventure through the woods. Also developing his powers more since he has more free range with them.
Current Activities/Developments: Glitch has just returned to game so he's getting reacquainted with everything. He's still in the point of adjusting of having a life so it's a lot of experiencing new things. As for work they aren't currently looking for anything but are willing to take up task board stuff to earn money. He can be currently found here on the character intro log.
Future Developments: Glitch will be wanting to develop his powers he no longer electrocutes himself in water. Since it's the one thing that restricts him to being truly free he finds. Development wise? He's still going on the train of learning how much he missed out on compared to everyone else in this place so there's that. Probably getting him into hunting and stuff? Really, the biggest plan I have right now is Glitch coming to terms with how he grew up and how it wasn't correct/healthy. Because right now he still thinks how he was raised was normal compared to everyone else. Ie, no parents/family unit and just being taught by robots that took care of base needs and left to fend for yourself when you hit twelve.
Shipping/Romance: Glitch isn't seeking romance right now. If it does happen it's only with guys and it'll probably only amount to hand holding and kissing.

Seeking: I'm looking for anything that gets him involved. He's a very anti social character but he can be made to socialize with people. He can talk with people and he doesn't shy away but he keeps people at arm's length when it comes to personal things. So having him open up would be great. He's a kid who grew up an orphan and relied on himself and a friend to take care of themselves. Which means he doesn't quite understand family dynamics or anything close to it. And while he's made friends it's always started out as ulterior motives between both parties.

So friends, found family, I'm down for that. Giving him a friendship that starts off genuine at least on another person's half and have him learn that people aren't all terrible.

Also give this kid some adopted pseudo parents or something so he knows what he's missing.

Also rivals and enemies are cool to.
Offering: I'm offering one super powered, angry boi. He's a kid with serious trust issues but if you can get past that he's a really loyal friend. He's also super kind when it comes to the young kids and will dote and be nice. It's a sight I swear.

Appearance: She's a duckling! White feathers and white hair. Is it hair? Is it feathers? Is it both?~It's a mystery~

Usually wears skirts and purple/pinks with bows.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: She's eager to explore all over Empatheias and uncover it's mysteries while making her own name in the history books! But the same time, she wants to learn about "normal" stuff like public transportation and fashion and if knives can be used for more than stabbing people. So both? Both is good.
Current Activities/Developments: Slowly but surely she's accepting that sadness can be a good, healthy thing, so she's allowed to miss her friends and family and even show it to others. In sillier news, she has a bike now, and is practicing it being pulled by all sorts of animals so that one day she can drive the wyvern carriage that the Scrooges are planning to use.
Future Developments: I want her to work on Dunamis! Anyone willing to teach or learn side-by-side with her?

Seeking: It's a cheat to say anything, but... well, yeah, anything! Friends, enemies, mentors, replacement grannies, she wants them all. Yes, she even wants enemies. Can't have a good Scrooge/Glomgold rivalry without a proper rival to shout CURSE YOU!
Offering: She's the sweet little sister you never knew you wanted. She'll do almost anything to make the other person happy, although she sucks as reading some social cues. She wants to be taught everything and anything, and is full of smiles and sunshine. She believes in you, you can do it!

Brief Personality: Eternal do-gooder who finds it hard to sit still and can't resist jumping into action if someone is in trouble or needs help. Sociable and friendly, there's no task too big that she won't take on... And if said task is too big she's stubborn, determined and enough of a persistent meddler to see things through. Enjoys cooking, martial arts training and scary stories!
Appearance: Rocking that carrot colour scheme. She tends to stand out a lot thanks to her going for lots of bright clothes in reds and oranges that go super well with her green hair. While she might switch outfits up now and then the red ribbon around her neck is a constant.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both! She's friendly and enjoys hanging out in SoL situations, be it more chill tasks, cooking with friends, grabbing more people to drag to Steambucks with her-- But she's also an excellent martial artist who is used to beating down monsters and journeying long distances, so adventure is a good match for her as well.
Current Activities/Developments: Last time on Farah's Life, all those thoughts relating to doubting herself and her drive were dealt with thanks to a Spiria Link and her friends offering plenty of advice. She met plenty of people at the flower festival and she has some ideas for what she wants to work on in future, namely her fighting and dunamis. She's made a few plans to hang out/train with a couple of people... As well as tackle a complicated airship model kit because a friend of hers was meant to receive it but, whoops, he went home. So. Of course she has to complete it now. (Heck if she knows what she's doing.)
Future Developments: Two things for the future! The first is addressing her thoughts and feelings on a certain Somatic and whether they are romantic or if she's happy with being friends. (It doesn't help said Somatic is dense as all heck which makes things rough). The second is training, working on her dunamis to fit it into her fighting style more seamlessly... And creating new artes/attacks from it.
Shipping/Romance:


Seeking: I am down for any and all the things! Friends she can bounce her thoughts off of regarding relationship things are welcome. Also anyone who Farah might have been evasive with regarding her past? She's now more open about discussing that particular topic, just a little. Finally, people she can fight or train with to create new moves! ToE has Team Attacks where two people combine their powers to make something cool happen, it's the sort of thing I'm always down for in fights.
Offering: Persistent Perky Punchgirl. She's determined and headstrong enough to get through any grumps and enough of a meddler to drag anyone unwilling into new and exciting situations. Sadly Farah suffers with Chronic Hero Syndrome and she has a hard time not offering to help others or giving her all to a sticky situation, which can sometimes only end up creating a stickier situation. She tries.

Brief Personality: Aqua is someone who has a strong sense of justice. She's always trying to the right thing, though she tends to be stubborn and overprotective of those important to her as well. She keeps a level-head in most situations and is someone who never stops working towards her goal when she has one. She's affectionate to those she's friends with and shows fondness for children in canon. She's kind and reliable, but is also extremely humble when it comes to herself. She's definitely the sister/mom friend.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: WHY NOT BOTH. I'm game for either!! Aqua is good for adventure-y type plots, but I'm not against doing anything slice of life with her, either.
Current Activities/Developments: Aqua has joined the Enforcers!! But, beyond that she helps Snow White with her bakery and practices fighting-wise on her free time. I'm also definitely not against her taking on some jobs from the task board, either.
Future Developments: I WOULD LIKE FOR HER TO BE MORE CONFIDENT IN HERSELF since Aqua is pretty hard on herself and is always trying to improve. She's also dealing with a lot of emotional baggage thanks to canon, so I want to play with the idea of things getting better for her for that, too.

There's also me wanting for her to be more open-minded to things like darkness, but that might take some development after everything that's happened to her back home, too.

Brief Personality: Sarcastic, abrasive, sometimes depressing as fuck. Chloe wants to make friends with people, but is particularly scared of attachment and super prone to pushing others away. She can come across as shallow and goofy and tends to make a ton of pop culture references that few people have yet to appreciate.
Appearance: She's got pink & blue hair that fades together from blonde roots, a killer sleeve tattoo on her right arm, and a lot of her clothes tend to purposefully be torn up because she needs you to know she hates authority I guess. She's also fairly tall for a girl (5'9", 175~ishcm) and ... really skinny. She eats all the time so idk what that's about.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: She's gonna be prone to slice of life because she has no powers or ability to fight, but I'd love for her to be trained to become more capable at doing action things. She IS prone to doing dumb shit for the sake of helping/protecting people, and she is a real good self-taught detective (seriously, she's solved 2 missing persons cases and a murder, look at her go) who also likes to break into locked places, so she's not impossible to get dragged into some adventures.
Current Activities/Developments: She was looking for a job and she settled on walking dogs for Gabriel/Reaper and maaaaaybe doing food critic stuff but that would mean she has to actually remember to do food critic stuff. She went to the flower festival and maybe kind of had a good time, but she'll deny it. She also has become a local therapist totally unintentionally because a lot of people just seem to be comfortable opening up to her about their stuff and she's really confused by it???? She should start charging.

She also has been doing street art, so if your character wants to pay her for a quick portrait, hmu.

Also currently living in a tent that she won when she got here because she refuses to take free things, but people keep yelling at her for it and telling her to live with them, so that might change soon if she stops being a stubborn asshole. She likes her tent though, honest.
Future Developments: I haven't thought about it too much, but getting her to acknowledge that she's uh. Dead. Would be a good thing. That would be a very good thing, actually. She hasn't talked about home seriously to anyone yet outside of some small hints, but she's living in denial at the moment.
Shipping/Romance: She is 1000000% unsuited for a relationship without some hardcore development and I like my romance to develop naturally - but she is available for any casual flings and she has a tendency to look for physical affection to deal with her emotions, so lmk if you want to be subjected to that mess.

She's pan, so gender doesn't matter too much, but she does tend to prefer women and has some real hang ups with men for anything other than casual relationships that she'd have to work through.
Seeking: Talk her into a Real Job and I'll give you a cookie.

BE HER FRIEND PLEASE :( She needs people who will tough through her tendency to get really distant when things like "caring" and "friendship" and "basic human decency" get brought up, but I promise she becomes a seriously loyal one once she gets over her shit.

I'm also down for negative CR if anyone wants a bitching partner.
Offering: I can offer snark, a good amount of emotional turmoil, and someone who will listen to your char talk about themselves for hours without ever supplying any real information about themself in return without some heavy pushing. That's fun, right??? Also good drinking buddy and prone to stealing, so she can probably get people into trouble fairly easily.

Brief Personality: A wise and fearless knight with an unstable sense of worth that leads to spiteful behavior. He seems arrogant and imperious; yet beneath the facade is an intellectual man given to mischief. He's a schemer who's quick to chew people out - but he is sincere. He abhors liars and cowards. And sadly doesn't realize his anger is problematic. But at least he's well-spoken?

Appearance: 100% a good man who is a demon. Permissions are here.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both! He's interested in building a new life; meaning there's the possibility of putting his chivalry and skills to use to train others, etc. Friends might help him change into a better person now he's away from bad influences.

Current Activities/Developments: Jasper's been questioning people about Thras's murder, learning about different factions, the Arehtei etc. He's also accepting work that fits his experience; like slaying monsters and bandits or engaging in swordplay. He's also sympathetic to the local monster population.

Future Developments: I'd like to see Jasper become the person he could have been without Mordegon's influence. He destroyed his home because he gave up on dreams and happiness, so there's a lot of emotional confusion over being somewhere new. He is aimless and looking for a new direction.

Shipping/Romance: Yes but he's fixated on someone back home. He's also 36 years old so I'm not really interested in age differences, etc.

Seeking: People who zealously hate demons! Or people who might be sympathetic to demons. People he can bond with. Fellow villains he can chill with. People who will smother him with the POWER OF FRIENDSHIP.

Offering: Jasper makes it easy to gain both positive and negative CR. He has a temper but follows a twisted code that values honesty and brotherhood. He's open for all sorts of development.

Hello! I'm not canon familiar but it could be fun to toss Jecht at Jasper? Jecht's more of a reluctant antagonist and is max Power of Friendship. FFX doesn't really have demon equivalents but he likely doesn't mind them since there's a variety of races, undead spirits, summons, and a fake 'god' in the world.

Brief Personality: Trunks has gone from cute little brat with a devil may care attitude to cute dork who often plays the adult now and is the young president of Capsule Corporation. Looooves technology and will happily rip apart anything new and shiny to learn about it, easily flustered and embarrassed if you tease him too much but can tease you right back if you're not careful (he has a little sister so he knows how to do it well), will defend and protect those who need it, often takes the logical approach to situations/takes his time to reach a decision rather than jump right in as he often did as a kid which also extends to him being able to make difficult decisions sometimes. Also has a lot of patience what with having to play the adult and reel both Pan and child Goku in even if he was tempted to lose his mind around them at times.

Appearance: Lavender hair, pretty blue eyes, muscular build, taller than his dad but who isn't??, dresses pretty casual when not done up in a suit and tie as Capsule Corp's president. The best way to tell him and his future self apart aside from this one being way more chill is probably going to be with their scarves: future Trunks wears a red scarf while this Trunks wears a blue scarf hence their nicknames of red and blue now.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Trunks can easily work with either because he comes from the world of dragon ball.

Current Activities/Developments: Trunks (and Giru) have been in Shaarnath all of April because i was on hiatus and only just came back to Verens. He's currently working on a special project which is constructing emotion resistant armor due to his not being ok with what happened to Thras and the fact that emotionally charged weapons/attacks can hinder a person in this world, on top of emotions at times having a negative and sometimes deadly influence on a person. There may be some failed experiments happening in the future where this could result in having emotional outpours/hiccups affecting others but more of that is tbd as it's all sorted out. He's also going to be a bit moody with both Goten and Zero having poofed from emp, so.

Future Developments: Aside from his project that he's working on, I don't have much lined up for Trunks aside from his being around Shaarnath a lot more and getting involved with the locals and possibly guard more. He's a Knight of Thras and is coming to take this more seriously as an adult as opposed to when he was a kid so expect to see him (and Giru) in Shaarnath a lot.

Shipping/Romance: Oh boy, I'm open to it but Trunks is more likely to have a fling than a relationship tbh because reasons. His work and dealings in Shaarnath are everything to him at the moment. Just know that he's 25 so I'd prefer someone around his age or slightly older if anything happens. o/

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: The Bard is perfectly happy going along with the flow! Right now, that means participating in day-to-day life, experiencing everything that Empatheias has to offer... which includes going out on trips to places that are really much too dangerous for them. They seem to drift in and out of perilous situations without giving it too much thought, and they always come out intact. When they really need to, their singing will usually lead the way... Somehow!
Current Activities/Developments: They've done nothing! It's been a month. They've experienced the festival and made some friends.
Future Developments: I have no real plans for anything big at the moment for the Bard! The Bard really wants to be taken seriously as a hero despite being woefully unqualified, so they're probably keep going out on adventures. They also might start a band! They've done it in the past and it worked out pretty well. Calling all musicians...!
Shipping/Romance: Nothing too romantic is on the plate at the moment. The Bard is too caught up in their platonic love for a friend of theirs and will be too worried about her to seek out anything of the sort. They're open to positive relationships with anyone, though.

Brief Personality: The most sheltered, optimistic, friendly and curious teenager. Basically. She has some lingering issues from being so sheltered, namely in how much she is still learning and seeing/experiencing for the first time, and in how conflicted she can be regarding Gothel in the aftermath of her abuse. She's slowly gaining more confidence in herself and her decisions though. Rapunzel canonically has a fondness for kids and because she wants them to have freedom and the confidence to speak up so they have a say, she....kind of lets them walk all over her, but. Yeah, she's more or less literal sunshine in how happy and friendly and optimistic she is though.
Appearance: The main thing that makes Rapunzel stick out is probably the hair. There's seventy feet of blonde hair trailing behind her. Which is why she usually has it done up out of the way. That's also a neat reference for her default season two outfit as well, for anyone curious on her outfit she can probably most often be seen in.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both? Both is good. Rapunzel is good on the slice of life in there being some downtime moments in the series and all, plus, adventuring is what she is all about now she is free from her tower, so. Yes.
Current Activities/Developments: She is figuring/asking around about jobs, specifically regarding art/painting. This could be her doing murals or portraits, say, portraits of people who are gone or back home that characters here miss for example.

And eh, I guess she might be a little lonely after the festival, given how love filled it was in making her miss Eugene more than ever. But it's Rapunzel and she probably tried hard to not let that actually show to everyone.

Even if that might have been more difficult given the emotional consequences here.

Future Developments: I kind of want her to train more? She can fence/wield a sword (and of course her frying pan) but I am also thinking part of me kind of wants her to learn to use a bow because her frying pan is better for melee range. Also Dunamis training once she gets a better hang on the whole emotions thing.

I might. Also be debating on the idea of canon updating her either to the Great Tree episode or the season two finale, Destinies Collide.

Current Activities/Developments: Fluttershy had actually been in Emp before, though it's been almost a year and a half since she'd returned home before coming back. Right before leaving her world again, she had been in the middle of a confrontation with someone who had used magic to erase her memories of one of her friends, and is trying to deal with that plus the fact that she had forgotten about her time in Emp until returning. So she's dealing with a fair bit of guilt regarding not remembering people.
Future Developments: I don't really have too much planned for her at the moment. I'm thinking of maybe having her start a pet-sitting service, inspired by the one task on the board. Other than that, she'll just be continuing to readjust to being back in Verens and dealing with the worry and guilt of the stuff back home.
Shipping/Romance: I am absolutely all for shipping her with someone. It'll be a bit harder, given the guilt she feels for forgetting people. But I think it could definitely happen eventually.

He's pretty self-centered, and has a Social Darwinistic view on life—a philosophy conceived from a poor childhood and growing up in a gang. OH WELL.

Appearance: Guzma is a dude who is 6'5 when standing at his full height, but spends most the time slouched over at 6'. He has an undershave, with the hair on top being white and wild, and the shaved part is black. He wears a pair of yellow sunglasses that are huge and ridiculous, and then he also wears a super baggy track-suit looking deal. He's a bit of a mess, seriously just look at him! However, since his canon point his glasses are symmetrically round with its lenses, and he doesn't wear that gaudy necklace.

I'm down for both. Guzma recently has been chilling a lot at home (except for a full week a little bit ago, but we won't talk about that), so finding a way to get him off his ass would be good, but I'm also always down for SoL bullshit as well!

Current Activities/Developments:
He's recently been rejected by Jill because the Flower Festival facilitated him owning up to catching some feelings for her, which lead to a not so great week that he spent being a hobo (oops I'm talking about it), so he's been in a particularly low mood. He still lives with Jill, and is trying to adjust to that whole embarrassing thing, but he's... managing?

He has taken Nanu on as his mentor, though. So, he's definitely trying to negate his shittier behaviors through his guidance, but Guzma gonna Guzma. It's just how he be.

Future Developments:
Primarily Guzma is working towards bettering himself and curbing some of his more shitty behaviors. However, this shit don't happen over night, and the road is a long one before him. Basically, the aim is for Guzma to become a more decent person, but I'm always flexible and if development goes elsewhere, well, that's fine!

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: BOTH. Dani is always up for adventures and fighting and exciting things. Also she needs to learn how to have a stable life and slice of life is almost utterly foreign to her in general.

Current Activities/Developments: Her birthday is actually May 5th. Girl is going to finally be 1 year old! She'll say thirteen to most people.

She is trying SUPER HARD to get a proper education. She's already recruited a few possible teachers, but there is a good chance anyone who DOES teach her is going to realize her knowledge base is weird. On one hand, great at biology! On the other hand, she has no idea how to do math beyond multiplication and division.

She's also going to be trying to improve on her powers. She knows she could have more abilities and she has the power to practice.

Future Developments: Happy life full of human connection. Dani lived a life constantly on the verge of dying and emotionally isolated. She knows its dangerous to trust people, but desperately WANTS to and she's slowly starting to trust this place won't blow up in her face about being a good thing. The more people she connects with and feels she can trust, the easier she'll be able to do that. Also maybe one day genuinely dealing with all the stuff she DID go through in canon.

Shipping/Romance: She's thirteen, so probably not. Though she might get a crush at some point. And be baffled by it.

Brief Personality: 19-year-old light novel protagonist wannabe university student who seems like the quiet and reserved type but is actually kind of prickly, very proud, has trust issues, and can have a sarcastic internal monologue going when dealing with people who give him a hard time. He's a pretty practical and down to earth guy though and actually does kind of look out for the people he cares about. Just don't make him have to admit he actually cares or that they're friends out loud because he's trying to be all cool and aloof over here okay??

Despite playing on the basketball team in high school he's also kind of a lowkey huge nerd who's into light novels and computers.

Appearance: 6'0, pale, grey hair, grey eyes that make him look dead inside. One thing that's notable about Mayuzumi is that he's kind of lacking in presence, which means it's hard for the average person to notice him when he's around unless he's doing something to call attention to himself like speaking up; observant normal humans and anyone with supernatural perception won't have much of a problem noticing him, though. Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Mostly slice of life for now; he's going to generally be avoiding doing anything too dangerous for the most part (or at least trying...)

Current Activities/Developments: Mayuzumi primarily works at an NPC-run cafe and also does various odd jobs and tasks on the side to keep the sylvs flowing. He's been trying to teach himself dunamis without much progress, but is going to be getting some help with that soon; he also recently reached out on the network to ask about learning how to defend himself, so is going to be following up on that and taking fighting lessons.

Future Developments: He's going to be sticking with learning how to fight for a while and trying out different forms of combat training to see what works best for him; I'd really like him to eventually get mixed up in some adventuring and exploration stuff later on when he's more capable, since he is the type who enjoys exploring.

In terms of general character development, he's gradually been opening up emotionally to the people he's closest to and being more honest about expressing his feelings, and that trend's going to continue. He's improved in this area a little but I'd like him to continue softening up on his cynicism about people and developing a more positive outlook on life; he's dealt with some people who were more the fair weather friend types and has been in a position where he was treated as a pawn before he ended up here (even if he's moved beyond that latter part to a large extent) so it's easy for him to be suspicious at first and assume people might have ulterior motives when they're nice to him. Since he's aligned with Piphron I'm really keen on keeping his emotional growth focused on learning how to trust others, making friends, and developing closer and more honest relationships with people he forms bonds with.

Shipping/Romance: Mayuzumi's currently living the light novel life by being caught in a love triangle with the girl he likes and his best friend, so the poor guy doesn't need any more romantic complications right now. Please give this nerd all the love advice though, he's never dated anyone before Emerald and has no idea what he's doing and needs the help...

Seeking: Anything and everything! I'd like him to make more friends in general, but also am fond of frenemy/rival type relationships where the characters butt heads. Characters that are cheerful, teasing, or the persistently friendly type can wear his tsundere front down pretty well; he also gets along with people who are generally quieter and calmer, even if they may be similarly standoffish to him (as long as they're on the same general wavelength of not hassling each other about feelings and stuff). Also I'd actually really like to play out something basketball-related too, so if anyone wants to play with him (or wants to learn to play, even if he's only really average at it so maybe is not the best teacher) that would be excellent.

As noted above, he's going to be following up on his April network post and working on learning how to fight and also practicing dunamis, so I'll put up an open post with options related to that in the near future and probably some other open prompts related to tasks and such. While I'm down with him having some CR that's more antagonistic, 100% negative CR where he doesn't have any reason to put up with the other person probably won't work out. Mayuzumi will just stone cold drop someone who annoys him too much and completely ignore they exist if he isn't interested in dealing with them rather than continuing to engage. Setups more along the lines of "I really can't stand this person but I need to tolerate them because of Reasons" will be way more sustainable (and they're more fun anyway).

Brief Personality: Eizen is a gruff grumpy earth spirit who is hard to get along with at first. He's not afraid to tell it like it is, and if he thinks your acting ridiculous, he wont hesitate to point it out. He doesn't like to let people in because he has a curse. Literally he is pretty much bad luck. His curse could range from someone stubbing their toe to someone actually dying (though obviously it wont be doing that here), but for those who aren't afraid of that curse and bully their way in, Eizen can be a rather goofy person too. His passions lie with antiques, history, and traveling. If he sees something new that he's never seen before he will get extremely excited

Appearance: Normally humans can't actually see Eizen because of what he is. He's something from his canon known as a Malak which is basically spiritual beings that are aligned with elements, but because of his Curse, People here will be able to see parts of him or none of him if that's what they want.

To those who can see him, they will see a rather tall man who looks to be in his early thirties with blond hair and striking blue eyes. His eyes alone can pierce through people and frighten them. He's also a pirate so he's usually dressed rather uniquely, but even his outfits are very well tailored. An image

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both? Both is good. Eizen is more of an exploring type, and being thrown into a whole new world, there is so much for him to explore! He loves adventure and he loves discovering new things. But it might be fun for him to have some bonding too! Make friends or something.

Current Activities/Developments: As of right now, Eizen is living with his companions of canonmates Rokurou and Magilou. He just got here last month and has been trying to get himself familiarized with the city before he ventures out any further. Other than scaring locals because of his sometimes ghostly appearance, he hasn't been doing much other than that.

Future Developments: Right now I would like to get him into stupid shenanigans, make him some sort of bonds, whether they be positive or negative. I don't have anything planned specifically though, it's more like a lets see how things fall.

Shipping/Romance: G O O D LUCK. While I am totally down for shipping, Eizen is a huge stubborn mess and it would probably take a lot to get him into a romantic situation with anyone. His one true love is adventure and sailing the open seas!

Brief Personality: Optimist, for everyone but himself. Yeah, he's that guy. Wants to be helpful, dependable, and "gentlemanly," but often comes off as shy and nervous instead. Still, all around sweet and wants the best for everyone. He keeps a smile to mask his negative emotions, but that won't help him in Empatheais.
Appearance: That blue strip of hair is manually dyed in. His cyan eyes are supposed to be eerie and unnatural looking. He wears light make-up in order to create the illusion of flawless skin.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both. Though I will probably focus on Slice of Life this month. Yoshiya has more adventurous spirit than talent for it.
Current Activities/Developments: He was just accepted last month. He needs to find housing and is looking for part-time work. Yoshiya also has little handle on dunamis, which is apparent given how emotional he can be.
Future Developments: A- Finding a housemate, maybe? Yoshiya will make himself live alone, unless he feels like he can help someone.
B- Dunami training would be nice! I'd like for him to eventually do adventure stuff, but he would need to refine his skillset.
C- Working on settling in. He's pretending to be fine atm, but Yoshiya is predictably having a hard time adjusting.
Shipping/Romance: It's fine if it happens, but I don't seek romantic ships. He only just got here and needs friends first.

Seeking: friends, honestly... He just got here. Establishing a social circle would be great. He's prone to picking role models and admiring them from a distance.

Appearance: A tall, androgynous young man in his mid twenties with periwinkle hair. He usually dresses either in a button down t-shirt or a more Verens style but so far has not put on his Team Rocket uniform. Almost always wearing sunglasses.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both, leans more towards adventure.
Current Activities/Developments: Living by the lake, is employed by Snow White, and is working on repairing a Brinndosi sentry that he is secretly planning to eventually turn into something else that he can use to capture an Arehtei (this is extremely long term). Currently trying to find work and people he can sell some old artifacts to.
Future Developments: As mentioned above, his long term project is studying the Brinndosi mech and trying to build a mech of his own so he can use it to capture an Arehtei for Team Rocket since he's convinced they're legendary Pokémon. This is VERY long term. He is going to try to look into Dunamis.

He can also be an extreme introvert at times so he needs to learn how to get out more without Jessie and Meowth being there to motivate him.
Shipping/Romance: I am not seeking shipping but am open to anything that happens organically. James has some complicated, unexamined feelings for his teammate back home, though, and is generally a bit of a mess when it comes to relationships due to past trauma. It's unlikely he'll end up shipping material, but people are welcome to have their characters crush on him.

Brief Personality: Lonnie can be summed up in these words: "She protecc. She attacc." (No, really). Kidding aside, Lonnie is a sweet, kind girl who can be your staunchest confidant and fiercest protector. She can be a little self-righteous and her temper gets the best of her, but her heart is usually in the right place. Her passionate side comes through whenever it comes to sword fighting, dancing, and music.

Appearance: Lonnie stands at 5'6" and has an athletic build. She has dark brown eyes and long black hair that was magically enhanced by Mal, the daughter of Maleficent. The clothes she wears usually have the colors fuschia and turquoise. When she goes out on a run though, Lonnie wears the dark blue and canary yellow R.O.A.R. tracksuit. She's been rocking different looks courtesy of Evie so Lonnie doesn't wear the Verens steampunk style that often. She thinks it's cool though!

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: I'm up for both! She's actually gearing up for learning and practicing more offensive dunamis this month. Maybe in time, she'd be prepared enough to try the monster hunting tasks.

Current Activities/Developments: Lonnie just turned 18 last month! So she's getting used to being an actual adult. She's making new friends, still training like crazy and going to all of her dunamis classes (CAN'T STOP, WON'T STOP). She also managed to keep her cool despite being harassed by the trolls last month. Usagi convinced her to be brave and confess her feelings for Jay in the event he ever appears in Verens. And speaking of feelings, she's currently going to have a heart-to-heart chat with Evie regarding her burgeoning feelings for a certain spiky-haired blond who has a penchant for taking selfies. Mercury's gonna crash in one of her training sessions, possibly spurning her on to trigger very destructive dunamis (still deciding between fire or soundwaves). So that's going to be fun 8D

Future Developments: I still want to find the opportunity for Lonnie to introduce people to ROAR. She did talk to Noctis about it ages ago but nothing came out of that yet. Getting the DJ equipment via regains is still on the table and I will find an opportunity to explore the guilt Lonnie feels over using a hidden camera to spy on her classmates and then posting the footage online while making snarky commentary. Oh, and since I found out bursting into song is normal in her canon, I want to incorporate that somehow in the future as well.

Shipping/Romance: She's still crushing on Jay XD What else is new? But I'm absolutely open playing up onesided crushes and the like. Lonnie is so clueless about relationships and romance and noticing that there are people who find her attractive. Hi Chloe XD so hilarity may ensue. I would be so down for that.

Seeking: She could always use more friends! I'm trying to have her more musical side come out more so maybe if there are people who are interested in dance lessons or want recommendations for music, Lonnie's your girl. I know she ruffled a few feathers in the hate post due to her attempt to do damage control so we can revisit that if you want.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: A mix of both! He wants to settle down, rebuild, start over, but also won't say no to some adventuring to spice things up a bit. Currently he's at the stage where he's not too keen yet on all out expeditions. Def good for monster hunting and exploring/getting to know existing cities though.
Current Activities/Developments: He's dealing with a broad range of emotions, happy about being alive (more or less) and reunited with his best friend while coping with trauma and loss. Mostly just settling in and enjoying his first bit of FREEDOM in ten years. He's planning on introducing blitzball (underwater ballgame) to Verens. Making friends and petting all the animals. Looking for side jobs for steady income. Starting dunamis training. Trying not to break Auron's house with his nightmares in the meantime. Teaching a chocobo to fetch. Lots of things.
