Some strange looks, certainly, apprehension visible as this being of shadow just floated into the room, his wide frame difficult to ignore. He ran a finger across a counter, checking it for dust. It was clean enough, likely due to the people trying to scurry around his massive form.
Now, it was likely stranger when he began searching through cabinets, gathering up supplies for what was looking like a baking project. He waved a hand at a rack where mismatched aprons hung, and one floated over to him. It didn't fit, but not a lot about this situation seemed to fit.
The Nightmare Knight went to work, despite his viewing croud, on making a tray of simple, yet delectable muffins. These poor people had to eat something, and if he knew anything, it was baking.

What a strange little treasure. He didn't think about it much when he had first arrived, but yet the little stone had been with him this whole time. Those around him had mentioned it from time to time, and there was information posted about them, books to be read and such, but nothing that really interested him. He did keep it around though. It had to have some use other than glowing and whatnot. Certainly he could remember something that was brought up.

"Hello. Can I be heard? This is a means of communication, or so I have been told. Respond if you can."
He took a corner of his flowing cape of fog and stardust and tried to shine the face of the gem. It couldn't hurt, and it would be something to do until a response came in.
