She couldn't help hesitating a bit, glancing down at the ground. She wasn't entirely sure she could, knowing that someone was watching her.
But as she looked at the birds, who all seemed to be looking at her hopefully as well, she swallowed the lump in her throat.

Then she closed her eyes, taking a deep breath to calm the pounding of her heart as she tried to imagine she was somewhere more private, surrounded by no one but her animal friends. And she once again began to sing; soft and a bit shaky at first, but growing stronger as more golden flowers started springing up from the ground.
