[Yeah, yeah, leader, shmeader. That's great and all but Kevin's own destiny is to become a crotchety old mentor figure somewhere in his thirties and he's already twenty-eight.]

That your world has asked so much of you lot, as young as you all are...it's a really wretched thing. I am glad that, in this place, you've got the opportunity to be a young lady who loves a little something sparkly.

[To which Kevin hands her a little jewelry box -- a Valentine's gift, as he has a couple of hunches here. One is that chocolates from Allura are going to mysteriously appear in his kitchen sometime soon. The other is that her own Valentine's Day may be rather more dramatic than it isn't, given all the heavy emotions going on with her fellow of choice. But, there's no law that says an uncle can't do some platonic spoiling of his own, to ease the fuss.

There's a simple necklace inside, with a charm very like this one. But Kevin had the gems surrounding the star chosen very carefully. Red for Keith, yellow for Hunk, green for Pidge, blue for Lance, white and black for the two Shiros, pink for Allura herself, and orange for Coran.
