Before she could even consciously think that to avoid a horrible cliche scene of him falling on top of her, her battle instincts kicked in. With surprising speed she dashed behind an upturned table and crouched, pulling it against her to shield herself. It was second nature, with how often she’d done it on the battlefield.
Hopefully he can stop himself colliding with the table in time?]
