"It has nothing to do with the place and everything to do with the people," Chaz replies with a huff. "Anyone from any properly civilized place ought to know to assist others as their abilities allow."

He can feel that she didn't get quite all the snow off, but surmises that without a good brush it's probably near impossible to clean out all the little crevices of his knobby and bony face, so this will have to do for now.
