Welcome to Empatheias' plotting and CR meme! Please fill out the form below with all of the necessary information. Then go forth and reply to others, plot, make friends, have shenanigans!

The Plot and CR meme will be posted bi-monthly alongside character and player intros, usually around the sixth of each month. We highly encourage everyone to check the post from time to time, even if a week has passed. You never know what kind of opportunities you could be missing!

Feel free to use this post for plotting out current happenings in the game.

INSTRUCTIONS

• Feel free to use the "Open Mingling Announcements" and "Task Board Recruitment" top levels for better focused organisation. Note: Any large scale group plots should still be posted to the OOC community proper.

• For more general plotting and to talk about CR you wish to build, create your own top level following the format below. Put your character's name in the subject line, or your name in the subject line if you have more than one character.

• Fill out the form and comment away! The top level relating to the task board has a different form, catered specifically to task board related things, as well.

• Tip! If mentioning tasks, include both the task ID and a brief two-word blurb to easily identify (eg., ST0602 Giant Fish).

Character Name: Dave Strider
Canon: Homestuck
Brief Personality: Dave's a big softy underneath a "cool guy" exterior who's stoic around others, unless you really happen to get under his skin. He likes to think himself as "hip with the kids," although most of his jokes and memes tend to fall short, especially around a crowd of those who don't know about modern humor. He means good and is willing to lend a helping hand (so long as you don't call him a hero).
Appearance: Lanky, average height, and blond, he's pretty much an average dude. The only thing is, he almost always wears shades, day or night, indoors or out. When they're off, he has stark red eyes.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Really either or is good! Depending on who he comes across will definitely influence what lifestyle he ends up living - he tends to go with the flow.
Current Activities/Developments: Dave is one of the new arrivals, so he's going to be jumpy as all get-out. Seeing all the unfamiliar faces, he's worried his brother might be here, and he's away from his anchoring friends. He doesn't really like the whole "telepathy" thing, but he'll get used to that pretty fast. Mainly wandering around and getting to know everyone, he'll be seeking some sort of friendship soon!
Future Developments: I'd really like to see him become more open and free of his worries, leaning more towards the bravery side of his Thras alignment. Learning Dunamis and performancy are something I'd be interested in for him as well! Other than that, I'm happy with going wherever the wind takes him.
Shipping/Romance: I'm open to all kinds of ships - long-term, fling, unrequited, you name it! It'd be interesting to see Dave fumble around the romance field. (He's 21!)

Seeking: Any kind of CR is good with me! Positive, negative, neutral, I just want to get him out there into the social field. Maybe someone can urge him to write a book!
Offering: Dave is most definitely going to be an awkward friend at first, but he's open to helping people out, especially emotionally. His way of helping usually involves rapping, but hey, it's the thought that counts, right? He has potential to be your, yes YOUR, number one best pal.

This is really late but yes!! If Chaz knows basically anything about their alignment he could possibly teach Dave about their emotions and whatnot :')

CHAZ ACTUALLY DOESN'T KNOW ALL THAT MUCH he's only been here two months and much of that was spent in a state of severe culture shock, whoops. :D;; But clearly nothing can go wrong from this!
