[ Some things feel like they've changed completely and others not at all. Having Phi at her side again is both familiar and foreign. She doesn't know how long she was sealed away, doesn't know if time has moved faster than her "dreams" for the ones they left behind. The two boys aren't the same, Velvet can't replace one with the other. ]

I'm sure they won't become daemons. That seems reserved for our world despite some of similarities this one shares with it.

[ Velvet lingers for a minute longer before looking down at Phi and giving him a smile. ]
