[ The stranger's offense in the face of Pennybags' deception isn't at all something Kunzite grudges him. The stranger spoke true in that he had been slighted. Kunzite had as well. At the very least, they had been robbed of time and energy they might have spent on other, more beneficial pursuits. A good boxing of Pennybags' ears might do him some good considering, but that swirl of darkness, that intentional application of malignant energy in cutting the man off speaks of a darker intent and gives Kunzite pause. His amusement quiets as calm lends itself to a quiet caution. ]

I do not appreciate his blatant deception, nor the cost of it, but I am curious to see its end.

[ And willing to intervene on Pennybags' behalf should it prove necessary for all that he may appear fairly relaxed. ]

I would venture he's put more time and effort into this farce than either of us.
