[Kyo watches as the fish gather, his tail swishing as he leans down further to the lake's water. His ears flatten more against his head as the other strikes, before he notes the birds, or what sound like birds nearby. He glances around upwards but can't seem to spot any unless they were hiding in the trees. Besides, the focus is obviously on the fish.
So he again reaches down with a paw to try grab one and catch it for himself. Since there's more than one that seem to gather.
