[ This means of communication, that is. His interest is audible through his tone alongside some measure of reserve. It's after the briefest of pauses that he remembers himself. ]
Where are my manners? I am Kunzite. [ He offers no title or allegiance and while there is strength in his voice, a particularly perceptive individual might pick up on a soft touch of something like sadness. Still, he presses on, and with a perceptible inclination of his head in greeting. ]
I am a relatively new arrival to this world. It's my understanding that this is the primary means of networking and communication between us Outworlders. The resources provided to me upon my arrival have been helpful, but I'm hoping to come into some firsthand accounts and knowledge from those of you who arrived before me. Is there anything noteworthy you believe a new arrival might benefit from knowing based upon your own experiences?
I was also wondering if anyone might be able to direct me to information pertaining to local astronomy. The Arehtei are also of interest to me, particularly Sosyne as I believe I am aligned with her. I have heard them called the guardians of this world?
Any assistance would be most appreciated.

[ Standing tall before that rickety, old bridge with his arms crossed over his chest, Kunzite can't help but raise a brow as he looks at the bridge and the space beyond it and wonders at this increasingly quirky venture. It had been one thing when the task assigned him had been the retrieval of a shrubbery possessing curious qualities needed for a tea that lent itself to divination. The search for a cute, albeit humorously vicious rabbit had been within the realm of belief up until the moment Sir Pennybags had released said rabbit and conveniently located a map at the library. Far be it from him to question the location of any legendary artifact in a strange, foreign world to which he is newly arrived, but the sense of it, that feels off and not necessarily in any foreboding, danger-ridden way. No, the dangers up to this point have been incredibly benign compared to that which he is accustomed, not that he is entirely relaxed. That would be foolish. He's more... somewhat expecting less than what he expected when the task to locate the legendary Chalice of Wisdom was offered him.
Still, it's a task he's accepted and Kunzite intends to see it to completion. Relaxing his brow and uncrossing his arms, he steps forward with confidence that sees him across. In fact, it sees him into the background of a picture initially focused upon another quest taker being treated to what sounds to him like the tail end of some sort of hogwash explanation by none other than Sir Pennybags' himself. An elaborate setup for a story in tomorrow's paper, is it? Looming behind and off to the side of his fellow quest taker and leveling his gaze at the self-proclaimed knight, Kunzite snorts softly, a pang of irritation producing a small gust of snowflakes that whips briefly around him that he's quick to clip, only to settle into something like a bemused chuckle as Sir Pennybags flees. ]
It seems we've been had.

[ If there is one place Kunzite hadn't quite expected to find himself today, it's in a boat with a fishing pole in his hands after being thrust there by a surprisingly foul-mouthed woman motivated equal parts by his slight expression of interest at the prospect of competition and the idea that he evidently needed to relax, and badly judging by -- well, too many swiftly foisted points for him to wrap his head around in the immediate aftermath of the incident. Blinking away a very brief moment of shock for the force of the personality he'd encountered and the clinging hold of his underlying grief, he turns his eyes to his evident partner in today's expected venture.
Well. ]
I suppose this means we'll be working together.
[ Unless his unwitting partner would like to return to shore in search of another, that is. Truthfully, Kunzite can't remember the last time he had a fishing pole in his hands, but he can't say he isn't intrigued. The beauty of the lake, the legend of a demon, the prospect of friendly competition had drawn him there, after all, and far be it from him to shirk the latter.
Really, how hard could it be to get into the swing of things? ]
