[It's understandable that she didn't notice this person - after all, he does look like a very small boy. He may be dressed for could mountain weather with his pink jacket, but he wasn't exactly expecting to see any ice! And so he panics as the ice suddenly races towards him. In response, he winces as he generates a large pink shield that would protect the entire front of his body.
It ends up being unnecessary, however, as the ice changes direction at basically the same time. He looks up in wonder towards the girl - wonder which mingles with concern as she falls - and his shield dissipates as he quickly scampers towards her.]
